By using a programme of integrative assignments the students are actively involved in the learning process and can see the relevance of each unit to the course as a whole. A Course for Trainee Technicians and Engineers, Designers, Drawing Office and Production Workers who are working in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Industry. Entry Requirements National Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a Level 3 Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline. Mature students are encouraged to apply. Teaching and Learning Teaching and learning methods used include case studies, presentations, projects and discussions as well as practical and laboratory work. You will be taught through seminars, lectures, interactive workshop sessions and our virtual learning environment with allocated tutorial support which focuses on study skills. Assessment Students are continually assessed on the units of the course, each unit successfully completed as part of the programme of study counts towards a student's award. Learning Outcome Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering awarded on successful completion of the course programme. As part of the College procedure for HNC students we are required to register you with the Teesside University. This enrolment will allow you access to the University facilities should you wish to use them. Progression after Programme An Engineering Degree.
