Disadvantages :
 Refrigeration efficiency is low.
 Lower Plant Capacity

 Pre-cooling using Propane

 Liquefaction, Subcooling using MR

Advantages over MR Process:

• Higher efficiency

• Substantial increase in capacity

MR volumetric flow

Advantages over C3-MR Process:

8 MMTPA) due to reduction in
Propane & MR volumetric flow
