Introduction

Over the past few years we’ve been on the fast track to
mastering our mindsets in order to get our Back to Brilliance
business up and running. We wanted to successfully bring
our work to many more people. There is a greater call than
ever before for clarity and practical strategies to create lives
that meet our deepest needs. We have known for the 20
years we have been learning these principles and developing
our programs that the keys we have identified offer a unique
new perspective that promises happiness and fulfilling lives.

We have attended as many workshops, seminars, and


lectures as have been available to us. We’ve read hundreds
of books and purchased dozens of programs in order to
refine our skills and identify the secrets to creating the life of
our dreams.

Our study has shown us steps that either appear simple and
magical or difficult and complex. We’ve discovered there are
pieces missing in all of the works we’ve reviewed and tried.
Our 12 Keys to the Art of Living Happy contain those missing
pieces. And we are far enough along in our own experience
of these keys to know what they offer and deliver.

10 Keys to Master Your Moods

We are convinced that low moods are the source of most of


our problems. Taking our own low moods and those of
others seriously can lead us into dangerous waters. It is
imperative to master your moods if you wish to master your
life.

• Moods are accumulated thoughts and feelings.

• Learn to recognize your low moods which are often


accompanied by a sense of urgency.

• Slow down, take a break, and shift your focus to relieve a


low mood.

• Remember, don’t take action until your low mood rises.

• Stress is felt through negative feelings and feelings follow


thoughts.

• Know that we create stress and low moods through our


thinking.

• Stress is an inside-out job.

• Learn to access brilliant thoughts and feelings.

Success is Inevitable

A mindset is a collection of thoughts and beliefs which we


pay attention to. Every individual has a mindset whether
they’ve consciously chosen it or not. In an unconscious
mindset we feel out of control, similar to being in a boat in
the middle of a river without any paddles. When we’ve
consciously chosen our mindset we have the oars to reach a
destination. Mastering our mindset gives us the power to
use our tools to reach our goals. Two core components for
holding a mindset are thoughts and moods.

We have the power to master our thinking. When we learn


to recognize our computer thinking we see that we have
recycled these thoughts from our past. Our computer mind
stores every experience, observation and reaction that we
have ever had. When a new situation occurs, our computer
mind automatically searches its files to find a solution.
Because the computer is driven by past data it cannot drive
our lives to new outcomes, new dreams or goals. We also
have a transmitter mind that catches the wisdom of the
universe. Through this mind we have access to our natural
brilliance and can chart new courses, find new answers, and
go where we’ve never been before. Our natural brilliance
expands our viewpoint and creates new possibilities.

What you think about becomes your reality. Every day we


are bombarded with messages telling us what’s expected,
what we need, what is correct, what is acceptable and what
is supposed to work. Taking these messages seriously is
living from the outside in. We are so conditioned to acting on
these messages that we fail to register how they make us
feel. When we are disconnected from our own truth, having
more stuff, more money or more of anything doesn’t satisfy.
We can learn to live from the inside out, choosing from our

core of brilliance what resonates for us. We can find those
elements of life that bring us enthusiasm, excitement, and
make us want to get up in the morning. From our brilliance
we can create our personal game plan that gives meaning
and value to our lives.

Outside-in living always creates stress because we’re


disconnected from our own truth. Stress is epidemic in our
culture to the point that we assume it is “normal”. When we
allow outside forces to drive our bus we feel discomfort,
distress, even anger. These feelings come from our thoughts
that accept the status quo and the limiting beliefs around us.
Stress is an outside-in job.

We can learn to recognize our low thoughts, feelings, and


moods which contribute to the stress in our lives. Moods are
normal; perpetual low moods are not. We create stress and
low moods through our thinking. We can change our mind
and pay attention to those thoughts that will create the life
we want. It’s our choice and it’s not that hard. It requires
finding our truth from our brilliance, and then focus,
persistence and commitment to creating the lives of our
dreams.

Once we understand how thoughts and moods can work for


us, we can begin to master the mindset that will drive our
dreams into reality. Once we’ve connected with our brilliance
and learned to live from the inside out, real success is
inevitable.

We’ve grown up thinking that if we just followed the rules of


the money game we could be successful and get rich.
Without an understanding of how thoughts and feelings
affect our creative energy, our dreams of wealth remain only
dreams. Activating our creative money power comes from
the inside out.

• Know that thoughts are a message to the Universe.

• A prosperity consciousness is composed of thoughts that


support your intentions for wealth.

• Thoughts become things.

• Remember that occasional negative thoughts will slow our


progress.

• Consciousness is the amount of energy you have at any


moment.

• Know that in this world money is a form of energy.

• Energy is gauged by the level of our feelings, where


wonderful feelings indicate high energy.

A Brilliant Mindset

Success is inevitable when we understand how thoughts and


moods can work for us and when we have mastered our
connection to Universal Brilliance. In order to master your
money, or be financially successful, it is essential to connect
the dots between mind, moods, and motivation grounded in
natural brilliance.

A prosperity consciousness is composed of thoughts that


support our intentions for wealth. A prosperous person has
mastered how mind works. They understand that the
thoughts they focus on create their reality. A money master
knows the difference between the thoughts that support
wealth and those that sabotage it. They are vigilant about
focusing on only those thoughts that support wealth. And
they understand that those thoughts are also aligned with
their greater purpose in contributing to life.

In this world money is a form of energy. Energy is gauged


by the level of our feelings, where wonderful feelings
indicate high energy. Feelings always follow thoughts and
wonderful feelings always follow the wonderful thoughts
which originate from our brilliance. Brilliant feelings are the
energy of expression, and they are the essential fuel of
manifestation. The ability to create money requires the fuel
of brilliant feelings and high moods.

When we connect with our brilliance, our thoughts and


feelings resonate with universal energy. Science has proven
that there are infinite connections between all levels of
existence and incredible possibilities through these
connections. Connecting with our brilliance links us to our
personal truth and our highest ambitions and desires.

Motivation is what keeps us connected and continually
moving into our goals. The more enthusiasm, fun and
excitement we experience about our goals the stronger our
connection is to Universal Brilliance. The better and stronger
our feelings are the greater our motivation will be to stay
the course.

The mindset that the money master has, when coming from
a place of brilliance, is one that uses the total harmony of
mind, moods and motivation. This always leads to action. A
true master of money has mastered prosperity in all areas of
life. A brilliant mindset is the foundation for mastering any
goal in life.

Without motivation, little happens. When we’re looking


outside of ourselves for dreams, goals, what’s important, we
inevitably get lost. The key to motivation is to connect with
our best ideas of what we want, what is important to us, and
what most expresses the best that we are.

• You master your motivation when you understand your


connection to Universal Brilliance.

• Defining your goals and objectives from your natural


brilliance enables you to pursue those dreams that most
resonate with your heart.

• Remember that motivation is the energy that keeps you


connected and continually moving into your goals.

• The clearer your thoughts and the stronger your feelings


are, the greater your motivation is to stay the course.

• The more enthusiasm, fun and excitement you experience

Three Steps to Motivation

Motivation is the flow of energy that moves us into action.


This energy comes from the crystal clear thoughts of what
we truly want, what our heart connection is. This powerful
flow of energy comes from the feelings generated by our
clearest thoughts.

When we master the ability to focus on the thoughts that


come from our natural brilliance we have achieved the first
step to mastering motivation. The second step is to use our
feelings to make sure we stay on track. This means that we
use our feelings as a gauge to identify where our thoughts
are coming from and disregard those thoughts that have low
or negative energy. The third step is to act on those
thoughts that come from our natural state of mind. These
three steps are the key to motivation, being motivated,
staying motivated and living a happy, fulfilling life.

There are hundreds, even thousands, of motivational


systems available in the marketplace. They offer music,
affirmations, and goal setting steps that are meant to lead
us to success. Motivational speakers thrive on rags to riches
stories. These may provide some assistance in relaxation or
hope that there is a better way. However, the core of
motivation comes from our natural brilliance. It is always an
inside-out job.

This is simple. The most important thing you can do for


yourself is to learn to stay connected to your natural
brilliance. The brilliance which exists in all of us is our
connection to the universal life force, which is the source of
the highest and best thoughts, feelings, and motivation.

When you learn a new language the words come together


slowly, and little by little you begin to speak. When you
finally begin to think in your new language, you know you’ve
mastered the task. You are then are able to speak, be
understood, and be connected at last to all around you.

The same approach is needed in order to integrate Mind,

Webster defines the word integrate as “to make into a whole
by bringing the parts together”. So, it’s ready, set, go with
