1. 不可数名词
英语中的名词可分为可数名词与不可数名词。可数名词是可以用数目计算的事物名称。
表示不能用数目计算的事物名称,称为不可数名词。
不可数名词用法:
A. 如果要表示 “一个 ”的概念时,就必须用表示量的名词词组,如:
a piece of 一片,一条,一张 a loaf of 一个
a bar of 一条 a bottle of 一瓶
a pound of 一磅 half a pound of 半磅
a quarter of 四分之一 a tin of 一听
a glass of 一杯 a bowl of 一碗
eg. a piece of news 一条新闻 a bottle of orange 一瓶桔汁
a glass of milk 一杯牛奶 a loaf of bread 一个面包
a pound of sugar 一磅糖 a bar of chocolate 一块巧克力
a tin of tobacco 一听烟丝
B. 用 much, a lot of, a little, little, lots of, plenty of , some 等表示多少
eg. 1. There are only a little butter left. 只剩下一点儿奶油了。
2. Mr. Zhu has a lot of money. 朱先生有很多钱
二. 基数词
表示数目多少的数词叫基数词,例如:one, two, three 等

1 至 12 分别记,
13 至 19 都带 teen,
整十后缀用 ty,
连字符用于几十几, 巧记基数词口诀:
百位以上 and 连,
拼法特殊的要注意。
2. 情态动词 can
1. 表示能力,包括体力上的,智力上的,译为“能,会”
eg. The man can speak five languages. 这个人会说五种语言。
否定句:The man can’t speak five languages.
疑问句:Can the man speak five languages?
Yes, he can.
No, he can’t.
2.表示客观可能性
eg. Only the Party can save china. 只有党才能救中国。

  教师准备好本单元单词卡片(有的写中文,有的写英文),图画和实物。将卡
片,图画和实物放入一只不透明的袋子里。游戏开始时教师说,袋子里装的是许
多宝物,让学生们上来轮流摸宝,如果摸到的是写有英文的卡片,则要英译汉;
如果是中文,则要汉译英并拼读出来;如果是图片或者实物,则要用英语说出
此物品。

Before I finished painting a room for a woman, she changed her mind

Just as I had almost finished, she phoned to say her husband didn’t like the

As I was doing the room for a third time, she got home and told me she
had changed her mind.
While I was painting the forth color, she said she thought I was painting
