    Unable to provide FULL coastal protection. Requires semi frequent management Becomes a permit part of the landscape

    Cheaper alternative as compared to other methods.

    Mangroves, help to trap sediments to form small islands Also can help to extend seawards Provide natural habitat for fishes Protect both the coast and environment :D
