The Outstanding Chapter Awards is given by the National Board through the Committee on
Awards of the Commission on Internal Affairs in recognition of deserving Chapters within the
established district grouping which cover all local and international chapters. Award coverage
shall be from 01 March 2006 – 01 March 2007.
B. QUALIFICATIONS
A Chapter must have a minimum of thirty (30) members in good standing. As per UAP Bylaws
Art. IV Sec. 4, 4.2 Chapter in Good Standing. “To be in good standing a Chapter must have at
least thirty (30) members in good standing as of September of the fiscal year...” For this award,
it shall be as of September 30, 2006; and Article IV Sec. 1, 2.3 Chapter Annual Fee. A chapter shall
pay an annual fee of one thousand five hundred (Php1,500.00) which shall be paid to the National
Treasurer within sixty (60) days from the start of the fiscal year. For this award, it shall be on or before
August 29, 2006

D. CRITERIA
1.5 District Assembly. Submit list of attendees, and attach attendance sheet, 1
attested by the Area Vice President and UAP National Secretariat and picture/s
with caption.
1.6 District Council Meeting - every District Council Meeting attended by the 1
Chapter President and or his / her duly authorized representative. Submit
attendance sheet, attested by District Director & picture/s with caption.
1.7 Position in the National & District Level: attach appointment paper
1.7.1 Membership in the National Board 5
1.7.2 Every Executive Directorship in the National Board 4
1.7.3 Every chairmanship in a national committee 3
1.7.4 Every membership in any national committee 2
1.7.5 Every membership in any district council 1
2.3 Correspondence to the UAP Post. One feature/ item or write up in each 5
issue relevant to UAP in particular and Architectural profession in general

F. MANDATORY COMPLIANCE
1. All entries shall be in hard bound cover; A-4 size (with detachable attachment rings)
2. Compilation shall be in exact accordance, with listings as given in the criteria provided
with leaf separations accordingly with Tab index.
3. Credit points can only be given to members in good standing
4. Tally sheet in the same format in the criteria in “D” order with computation of creditable
points.
5. Summary sheet must be duly signed by the Chapter President and attested by the District
Director.
6. All items must be properly supported by documents.
Deadline of submission is on or before 6:00p.m. March 9, 2007, only at UAP Headquarters, 5/F
