• Solution:
• Salt, Rice, Wheat, Petrol are essential
commodities, so their demand is relatively
inelastic. So, total revenue will increase.
Jewellery is luxury goods, but here demand
increases with increase in price, so demand may
increase. In other cases, total revenue will
decrease.
