Hello again folks, I hope you have had a wonderful month since the last time I talked to you all. I, along with Belle, have launched the UKs first Paranormal Radio Network (in conjunction with Birmingham City Radio) called HCFM Paranormal Radio Network located at http://hcfmparanormalradionetwork.co.uk/. Our radio show, Haunted Cornwall FM, has gone back on the air and is going very well. I was really amazed with the photographs in the article Ghostly Images in last months issue. They were incredible and yet so creepy. We have certainly come a long way in our belief in the paranormal and that spirits do indeed show up in photographs. It doesnt require a professional photographer or any special camera to capture spirit images. You can find pictures all over the internet. Im sure many of them are photoshopped, but Im willing to bet there are more genuine spirits pictures than fakes. Great job on the article! Pre-Event & Walkround The HCFM Team had done some pre-investigation energy linking to the manor and the main points arising from this was the amount of rapid movement on the stairs leading up from the Kitchen, and strong female energies located in the Tudor Room. On the Walkround to view the rooms and place the trigger objects John demonstrated the reported events from the Chippendale Room,. When he lifted one of the drawer handles, at the same time the one on the opposite side of the unit copied this. A photograph was taken just after this and a large orb was detected in this area of the chest of drawers. The investigators were divided into 3 teams, led by Mark, Pygar and Darryl; John adopted a roving commission. Main Hall Both Mark and Darryls group reported the presence of a tall man who stood in the room between the window and cupboard. It was also reported by Allan that this man was around 76 tall. There were a number of reports from all groups of cold spots near the chairs by the fireplace. This was supported by a report of a woman walking toward the chair during the night, and on one photograph in particular there is a large orb on the furthest chair that suggests someone sitting in it. Also, there were reports of both a monk and a young girl with a straw doll in this room at times during the night. There were some good results from the Spirit Board in the Main Hall, and these confirmed details and dates given during an earlier vigil in the Kitchen. During the sessions with the board numerous cold spots and shivers were reported. Chapel Area In this area a Priest was seen and there were 2 independent reports of a strong smell of incense in here at different times during the night. This room had a very Catholic feel, and Darryl felt the need to kneel at the Altar when placing the trigger object in here. A wooden cross was placed in front of the altar, and there was some small sideways movement at the top of the cross. The phrase Peters Chess was picked up in this area. Kitchen The experiments set out in here were Table Tipping and Planchette. These were supported by a ball being placed on the small settle under the stairs. Photographic evidence appears to support some slight movement in the ball. Darryls Team made contact with a young boy named Daniel, who lives in the fireplace, and he was asked to tip the table, or rock the table. He successfully rocked and then tipped over the table using the energy of the 5 people on the table. Then with just 2 on the table, using just 2 fingertips each, one each hand, he walked the table 4 feet across the floor from the centre of the room towards the Chapel. Another table tipping exercise by Marks Team resulted in some tipping of the table. A number of things were reported across the groups in this room, including 2 lurcher type hunting dogs, a man and women, heads being touched and a sense of being watched. There was a suggestion that the dogs had been buried with the girl in the pond. Darryls Team also undertook a Planchette experiment here with a man named Clement, who had followed them down from the balcony above the kitchen. Clement has referred to Darryl as The Devil because he had taken his wife away that he was looking for, and identified Tina as his wife, Vivien, from a former life. During the work with the Planchette Clement drew the word GO, aimed at Darryl, then gave the date as 1846. He told us he was the Gilly for the estate, and drew several flowers that looked like large daisies; finally he drew the word LOVE.

Victorian Room This room gave many people experiences, and most of these revolved around a dispute and duel between 2 men and a young servant girl. The most reported incidents in here were touches, cold spots, breezes, tight chests, being choked or strangled, and pains from wounds and injuries. The information collected from the vigils in this room told of a young servant girl, made pregnant by the son of the house. There was a resulting duel over this and the proposed dowry of marriage. The names of those involved were James, the son, Bess the servant girl, and her brother Richard, known as Roger. James fought a sword duel with Roger, who was killed from wounds sustained to his leg and right lung. Afterwards, Bess was attacked and kicked by James that caused her to lose the baby. During the vigil by Marks Team in here, Allan was channelling James and when Mark mentioned a particular event, Allan shouted at him and went to draw his sword. Other details from this room included the date 1706, connected to a blonde lady known as Beatrice, 2 people felt the sensation of being choked in the room. The cold spots and breezes were felt by those near the window, however, on checking there was nothing coming from outside, and these disappeared as quickly as they started. There was also a report by one of the investigators of feeling very warm on one side of her face. Pygar also described a Victor Meldrew type man who was in the room during their vigil. He was dressed like a chaplain in long black robe with a white surplice, and stood with his hand on his hips. The bedframe vibrating was felt by a number of the team. Tudor Room In here contact was made with a young girl named Elizabeth, who was encouraged to rock the crib. She also said the following: Mummy loves me, Who are you and have you brought presents. Two other women by the names of Mary and Katherine were also seen in this room, one of them being sat on the bed. When Allan reported this there was a dip in the bed clothes at the same time. She was still there during a later vigil; she seemed to be a nanny and was very upset over the death of a child. There was also a heavy set man who stood in the corner over by the chair, and when a photograph was taken, there was an orb in that location. During his teams vigil, Pygar was compelled to hug the right hand bed post as he needed this to hold him up. Allan was pushed by a big man, Ros touched when she was near the wall cupboard. Footsteps were clearly heard on the steps outside of the room. Chippendale Room This room was active all night and it mainly centred on a short lady, of no more than 40 years old. She was very ill, and a number of people reported a priest giving her the Last Rites. Feelings picked up around this were severe blood loss, severe stomach pains, and TB Illness. Lethargy was also reported in here. A great deal of sadness was also felt with this lady. Other details from the vigils here include a boy following Marks Team named Peter, and Pygar being asked what he was doing when putting the cameras in this area before the investigation began. There were a number of moving light shadows between this room and the room with the armour. Names picked up in this room were Katerin (Katherine), Oliver, and Henry in 1521. During the vigil by Darryls Team a man known as George was seen stood over by the dresser nearest to the window. He was dressed in a black velvet top and knee breeches, white knee length white socks, black shoes with a large silver buckle. Also, a couple of people, including Pygar, felt the need to sit on the window seat. Mark also picked up on a man who was very proud and he stood near the armour. There was a report that 2 soldiers had been beheaded close to the base of the staircase leading down from this area. After the event when reviewing the footage and photographs, one of the investigators, Becci, found a photograph taken at the end of the vigil, by Darryls Team, when she was the only one in the room that clearly shows a young womans face in the window, not Becci. This Months featured team is ParaVizionz Paranormal. This group is a high level paranormal investigation and research team. Founded by Lee Allen in 2005, ParaVizionz is located in Ohio. The team serves Ohio, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky. The team has completed over 175 investigations from January 2008 to present. Today, ParaVizionz has 15 members, excluding Lee Allen and Co Founder, David Jones. Founder, Lee Allen, became interested in the paranormal after the death of his infant baby boy. His son had passed just 2 months and 2 weeks after birth. After his sons death, while leaving the home for a golfing trip, he heard something unusual coming from his sons nursery. It sounded like music and a voice, says Lee. He was curious and his body shook as he grabbed the doorknob tightly in his hands. His heart racing, he turned the knob and slowly pushed the door open looking for any signs of life. As the door inched forward, he still heard the music. Lee said, It was the mobile music,

but it was weird, because it played really slow, and I heard a babys voice. Confused and curious, he slowly forced himself to continue into the room. To his surprise, the little stuffed animals on the mobile were dangling and moving as if a child was reaching up to touch them, the music and voice had ceased. Lee was dumbfounded. There was nobody in that room! He says, I felt a presence in there, like a child. Lee slowly crept into the room looking for anything out of the ordinary. His mind raced as he slowly made his way into the room. He saw that the toys had been moved and the babys closet was open. He then knew at that point something was going on here, something that he could not see, yet something he knew in his heart was there. That day has never left me, states Lee. That day had changed Lees life forever, something frightening, yet more beautiful than anything else he has ever known. This first experience is what launched him into the world of paranormal investigating. In 2007, David Jones joined Lee as the Co Founder of ParaVizionz. Dave and Lee immediately clicked the day that they met. Lee was 3 years into the group at that time. The chance meeting happened at a meet and greet at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Both men happened to be there at the same time when The Ghost Hunters Team from SyFy were there filming a show. David, at that time, was with another small group. The guys chatted at length and they immediately had an instant bond; same ideas and visions for the future. The two soon joined forces and have been together ever since. They have since done some professional filming for various networks. Psychic/Medium, Deborah Lantz, had 15 years under her belt in the paranormal field when she joined the team 2 1/2 years ago. She is a well respected investigator and brings her knowledge and experience to the table. She has been psychic for as long as she can remember, I never labeled myself as a psychic, she says, because it was just normal for me. Deb uses her psychic abilities while on investigations and backs it up with EVP evidence. She may sense a spirit is in a room and may even get the persons name, or details about that person, and then later, upon EVP review, she finds some validation that her instincts were right. She uses a kinder approach to investigating and is against taunting and terrorizing the spirits. Deborah states proudly, I never sacrifice my integrity by taunting the spirits. She believes spirits are people just like us; they should be treated as such. She also does psychic detective work on the side. Her high spiritual side shined through, says Lee, and that is when I knew I had to have her on my team. We had a Spiritual bond. When asked about their most memorable investigation, Deb and Lee paused. They both said, Well there have been so many! They chatted amongst themselves for a few seconds. I heard the name Waverly in their whispery voices and they went back and forth. Then it got quiet.Ok, says Lee, we have two that are really good, but the most exciting investigation was at the Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky. Knowing the history of Waverly, I anxiously asked them to elaborate on that investigation. What they told me about the investigation left me thinking about Waverly Hills for days The team set up their equipment to get ready for the nightly investigation. Arriving at dusk, Marge, a Waverly caretaker, pulled slowly up the driveway and swung the gate open. Once inside the Waverly grounds, strangely, she was unable to restart her car, and oddly enough, some of the member of the team had car issues that day as well. That was really weird! says Lee, Her car wouldnt start and then we had some car issues of our own, it was just really strange! Once the team had settled in and was beginning their investigation they decided to look around a bit. The group said they remember hearing voices desperately crying out for help, as well as various high pitched screams as if the souls were being tortured. It didnt surprise the team that the source of these cries were coming from the fourth floor, the surgery room. The team used their high tech equipment as well as some self invented gear exclusive to their group to monitor the activity and was able to verify the voices.

As the night went on, Dave and Lee decided to change their pace. They decide to pull off their gear and go back to the 5th floor, the floor of a little child that likes to play ball. They dressed up in clown suits to amuse the child and headed in to play. Their time was spent playing marbles and dolls. Dave and Lee had a wind chime hanging by room 502 and right in front of the door they had a camera. The group was able to get EVP during their session. Later that night, things began to take a turn. One of the members was scratched by an unseen force. Lee says, It was like a big tornado coming and we had to get the hell out of its way! The activity could have been caused by what some of the team members decided to do as an experiment. Lee and Dave had brought the necessary costumes and props to do a reenactment of a doctor and nurse treating a patient. Once dressed in costumes, Lee was in his wheelchair playing the part of an ill patient, and then their grand performance began. The Doctor, played by Dave, frantically yelled for help up and down the darkly lit halls, pacing back and forth. He called for the nurse to check the patients vitals. Lee began to cough and wheeze and gasp for air, and he appeared almost dead as he slumped over in his chair. They began to wheel the patient down the dark and dingy hallway. They were heading to the 4th floor- the surgery room. Once in the surgery room the patient began to scream in terror and pain. The doctor and nurse continued on with the procedure, despite the patients desperate cries for help; like many times in the past, nobody came. Lee states, Once we entered the hallway to the 4th floor, something changed. It felt thick; it went from just spiritually charged to stifling and heavy, really thick. The teams emotions rose and fell from a good feeling and then full panic set in. Some were sick at their stomachs and nauseated; others had to go outside to vomit. Suddenly, Lee got a message from Marge on his phone. She and Deb were outside of the upper floor and overheard the reenactment. Marge became frantic and put in a call to Lee, she said, Lee you might not want to do that! You dont know what youre getting yourself into! (What was it that Marge knew about this place? Had others done the same experiment, and did it go wrong? Her fear for the teams safety went a lot further than just the normal day to day paranormal activity. What did she know?) In retrospect Lee says, Maybe we shouldnt have done that. Paranormal investigating is about trying different things, so it is always a learning experience. After the investigation ended, the team felt physically, spiritually, and emotionally exhausted. Each member went their separate way. There was no communication between the team for days. Lee states, Every investigator took home a residual energy, had texting blackouts, coughing, and just emotionally drained. A few days later, Lee contacted Deb. He asked her to help him get rid of the bad energy that seemed to burrow deep down in his soul. This wasnt just a typical one day post investigation energy drain. This went much deeper than they had ever thought possible. I have never experienced this type of feeling or energy drain after an investigation, this was something else! Lee began to pray and literally vomited up emotion and energy deep from within his body. Deb had him burn white candles. She concocted a special bathing herb for Lee to use. This would remove the bad energy from within him. It worked, and soon Lee was back to normal. It felt like I was in sunshine! says Lee. Today, ParaVizionz remains very active within their area. They are well respected in their community and are members of their historical society since 2008. In the summer, the team volunteers doing ghost walks in Bellbrook, Ohio, benefiting the society. In turn, they are allowed access to the most haunted off limits historical locations. They have also created ParaVizionz Paranormal Alliance, an umbrella in which other groups fall under. Everyone works together to help each other by teaching, learning and assisting. ParaVizionz will be hosting some exciting events to celebrate Halloween this year. I remember one night I was sleeping and felt like someone was lying on top of me but when I woke up there was no one there. When I looked up at the ceiling I saw this really big black blob moving across the ceiling. I had asked her at this point to tell me about the blob. Well, it was like solid and all black and it moved real slowly. You know like that movie The Blob. I didnt realize until it was too late but I did actually giggle out loud at that point, and she looked at me oddly then continued. Anyways, Brian says that he never felt anything and that he never saw anything in the bedroom, just the pictures and water and stuff like that. I kept swearing that I wasnt crazy and these things were happening to me! I couldnt believe that he didnt believe me. It got worse, I woke a lot to find scratches all over my body, and then there was one time it felt like someone I couldnt see was having sex with me. I am fairly certain that if it is possible to have your jaw literally sitting on the table, mine likely was at this point. Did I really hear what I had just heard? Did she seriously just accuse a spirit of rape? I asked her if she felt as though it was a rape and she replied, It absolutely was! I kept saying no, stop and it wouldnt listen to me! I asked her where Brian was and she stated he had duty that night and then proceeded to tell me I wasnt on my birth control and I was really scared! I literally bit my own tongue to the point of pain so I did not laugh in Karyanns face. I have heard some whoppers but rape and pregnancy? Ok then. So I tell her, This is just standard procedure and I hope you dont mind, but I have some questions to ask you if you could answer to the best of your ability for me that would be great! I asked her if she had any known diagnosis of any psychological issues (expressing that skeptics would claim this, because they indeed do!) and she said no. I asked if she knew the history of the home and she stated it was just built last year and was military housing and that was all she knew. I asked her if she thought there was any way possible she felt as though she could explain any of these happenings and she stated absolutely not and finished with So, do you think if you print this we could be on one of those television shows like The Haunted or Ghost Hunters? I would really like to meet Grant! with a huge Cheshire cat grin on her face.

Birth Control You Say?
From the start of this column I have brought you stories that are believed to be true. Of course we can never claim anything is 100% factual in this field, as you know, but they had enough substantial foundation to say with comfort these things happened. I put an offer out across the web, across where I live, and with places I go and people I see regularly to write in and tell me about their personal paranormal experiences so that we can chat about them and determine if they should be published in our magazine. Let me tell you that is one hell of a door I opened. You guys should read some of the stuff I get, or hear some of the things I hear! It is unreal! Now I will tell you that I take a special interest in things that I can pretty well come to the conclusion of honesty to share with my readers. I take special care if I feel the person sharing a story may have some psychological issues going on, as I am completely against exploiting anyone for that, but when it comes to flat out lies, and lies you know damn well are lies, I am thinking that it is about time us paranormal investigators and enthusiast alike start exposing these frauds for what they are! Mean you say? Perhaps however, it is these people that are giving people like us a bad name across the world. They are the ones that cause people to look at you like youre crazy when you bring it up. About 3 weeks ago I was out talking to some people. It was a rather large group and the topic of ghost hunters came up. Yup, the Television show. Anyway, I proceeded to explain that I do this on a regular basis and personally refer to it as investigating and not hunting. I continued to explain about our magazine and the column I write about. In the midst of this conversation Karyann approached me and told me that she had an experience, and how she thought it is soooo cool that I am writing for a magazine. She stated she would give anything to be able to see her name in one, or on television. Immediately my little spidey senses went off; an eyebrow raised. We agreed to meet at Dennys to talk about her story. Two weeks later I met Karyann at the Dennys as we had planned. When she sat down I could not help but notice that she is one of the giggliest grown adults I had ever met. We ordered our coffee and food then I asked her to share her story with me. Here is the story that she related to me in her own words as I sat and wrote it down. Well, I was living in this two story house about 3 years ago with my fianc at the time. When we moved in, it was supposed to be temporary because my fianc was going to be transferred with the Army a year later. After we got all settled in we started to notice some really strange things going on. Oh and by the way, his name is Brian. Karyann, can you explain to me with some detail what you saw or felt going on that you considered strange? I had asked her. Well, like pictures would be crooked or just clear upside down, even after we would fix them. The water in the kitchen sink would turn on and as soon as we walked towards the faucet it would shut off. We could hear people walking around upstairs event though we knew that we were the only

I explained that was not likely and we finished up and I headed home. I definitely needed some time to let all this sink in and then thought I would go and try to research as much information as I could about the property. I could not find much on Karyann seeing as HIPPA would throw a fit if I tried to find anything on her. I found nothing. Not one scrap of negative claims on the property, one owner previously, and yes owned by the military. I can honestly tell you of all the things I have seen, heard, or gotten in at this point, this was certainly the worst of them. Anyone with common sense can sit here and read this and realize this chick saw an opportunity to get her name out there and perhaps be on television one day. Sorry folks, we love our magazine and think its the best but it most certainly does not work that way. We are not scripting you and mailing them off to the major network stations. Although now that I think about it that is certainly a movie that has not been done yet. I can see it now, Paranormal Impregnation. I am sure it will be Hollywoods next big hit. The moral of this story is that if you are going to be dumb enough to lie about anything paranormal with the amount of interest, investigators, books, television shows, and internet( AKA: INFORMATION) available to us live humans then at least have enough sense to make it somewhat believable. It is people like this that have the label of crazy slapped on believers. It is people like this that make fools of us all. Midnight Syndicates formation began in the mid1990s with an idea Edward Douglas had to form a band that would create soundtracks to imaginary films. After releasing the self-titled debut CD in 1997 (which was more of a solo project for Douglas), Edward sought out a writing partner for the 2nd Midnight Syndicate disc. Enter long time friend Gavin Goszka, I wanted another musical mind and a writing partner going forward after that first disc, said Edward in a phone interview I had with he and Gavin last month. I saw a lot of common ground between us. Gavin stated as he reflected back on the meeting of the two minds, and it wasnt long until the duo brought their creative minds together successfully and created a monster the likes they didnt even comprehend as of yet. The first steps to the trademark Midnight Syndicate sound came with the July 1997 release of Midnight Syndicate. The album saw many styles of music from rap to new age, but it was the darker tracks that set the tone for their September 1998 follow-up. Born of the Night was released in time for Halloween that year and established their trademark sound and concept. The duo became an instant success and realized they may be on the verge of something special, We did a trade show in Chicago and were getting a lot of great feedback about the CD. Gavin commented. With the reaction and success of Born of the Night the band knew that the bar had to be raised even higher in future projects and Ed and Gavin wouldnt fail on this challenge. After the bands 2000 release Realm of Shadows came, in this writers mind, two of the best examples of what Midnight Syndicate are about, the The Paranormal Explorer 30 2001 release Gates of Delirium and in 2005 The 13th Hour These two works take you through the . story of the Haverghast family; first Gates takes you through the vast and intimidating Haverghast Asylum where the patients of the present and the past wait to welcome you to your new home. The 2005 release The 13th Hour continues the tour as you, through the music, explore the dark and desolate corners of the doctors old Victorian Mansion in the mist with an equally sinister past. The 13th Hour is the most successful release for the duo and it became the first album in history to receive both The Origins Award and the ENnie Award for Best Game Accessory the industries two highest possible to receive. The band has also tapped into the worlds of gaming and film, in 2003 the group collaborated on the industrys first soundtrack to the classic Dungeons and Dragons role playing game, they also have licensed their work for other online games and various X-Box video games like Baldurs Gate 2 The band has also had the opportu. nity to align with Universal Studios in the creation of the music for Halloween Horror Nights XVIII, and developed the soundtrack for Robert Kurtzmans (Producer of From Dusk till Dawn) film, The Rage . In 1995 with a budget $2000 Ed Douglas directed, scored, and produced his first movie titled The Dead Matter. The movie tells the story of a girl named Gretchen whose ambition to reunite with her dead brother finds her exploring the realms of the undead and the world of the vampires. Eds goal was to remake the movie someday with an actual budget. In 2010, Ed was able to realize that dream when he teamed with movie producers Robert Kurtzman and Gary Jones (Xena, Her-
cules) and formed Midnight Syndicate Films. The 2010 the remake of The Dead Matter is a major motion picture starring Andrew Divoff (Lost), Jason Carter (Babylon 5), and Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th). The band performed the soundtrack to the film and released a second CD of music inspired by the film entitled The Dead Matter: Cemetery Gates (released in 2008). The film has been well received by many in the media and by fans alike, and has also won many awards as well including Best Film and Best Director (Edward Douglas) at Nashvilles 2011 Full Moon Horror Fest and Best Soundtrack by the indie-movie award team at the Golden Cobs. The film is currently being played in many festivals around the world, and looks to be a fan favorite for many years to come. In the same year the duo performed together for the first time on camera in their first music video for a song entitled Dark Legacy from the Cemetery Gates album. It was the first time Ed and Gavin had performed live and as the characters seen in the liner notes of albums like Gates of Delirium and The 13th Hour, when I asked them what the inspiration was for the characters I was amazed at the response. Good question Scott we have actually never been asked about that before. Ed stated laughing. The characters are a part of us, he continued, an amalgamation of our interests and things that inspire us. The band
also released a second music video produced by 529 Studios for the song Lost off the The Dead Matter: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack I . asked about the inspiration of the Lost video as it took a different turn from the previous concept used in Dark Legacy 529 (Studios) came up with . the entire concept for that video and produced it, Gavin stated, we really enjoyed how they worked in the Midnight Syndicate references throughout the video and tied things together with the Dark Legacy video at the end. I asked the guys if there are any future videos in store for the fans; Ed Douglas stated, We would like to do one for the new CD. More on the new CD to come soon. In 2010, the band gave a new feel to their music with a six-song EP entitled The Dark Masquerade. In it, vocalist Destini Beard takes tracks the band had previously released and transforms them through the addition of new vocal tracks which she performs. One of the most popular titles off the CD is a dance remix of Troubled Times from the Dungeons and Dragons CD that Destini chose to make her title track. We had a great time working with Destini on that CD and the feedback on it has been tremendous Gavin stated. I asked the guys if that meant a new album with Destini,Its already underway, said Douglas. Destini will be releasing a full-length CD in mid-2012. We just heard some of the early tracks and its sounding great! Ed and Gavin also have side projects they have worked on for many years. In addition to Eds The Dead Matter film, Gavin has several other music projects that he has produced. Parlormuse, one of his projects, revisits the music of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Parlormuses first release titled Its Not the Coat Makes the Gentleman features popular music from that era with modern day arrangements. Parlormuses second release, A Day for the Feast takes other songs from the Victorian era and recreates them with historically-accurate interpretations. I asked Gavin if we may ever see a gothic Japanese anime Midnight Syndicate project. These are two separate worlds and I dont know where there would be commonality out there for the two, Gavin said laughing. To be fair he did feel inspired when I said it could give us the chance to see Ed in an Anime outfit not unlike the characters they take on with M.S. so you never know folks. , With 2011 comes the latest Midnight Syndicate creation as Ed and Gavin give us Carnival Arcane which could be the best title to date. Carnival Arcane takes you on a visit to the Lancaster-Rigby Carnival where you learn quickly that not all is happy and joyous within the company of these visitors. The album pushes the Midnight Syndicate sound to new heights also with the introduction of new instruments and their now 14 years experience in the genre aiding as well. We were really able to study the old carnival attractions and sideshows and I think it really helped when we went to arrange the music. stated Gavin. The group also called on many to do voiceover work for the album to help with the atmosphere, Jason Carter, Brian Van Camp and Dennis Carter Jr. from The Dead Matter Movie left their mark on raising the bar for the bands projects. Listening to the CD does let you enter a world in your mind which will at times make you sit straight up in your chair, but the interesting thing always with their CDs is although there is the suspense, you can also have a beneficial escape from the real world for a while which is what I love about the music. Oh and a bit of advice, if you are reading this and dont particularly like clowns, dont listen to Track 17 on the CD if you want to sleep again. The guys wanted me to make sure I talked

Orbs
The large black mass is the main power grid and cloaks itself from sight very much like a curtain drawn and opened for a few seconds and various times. These large black objects may send other orbs to split off and gather (steal) energy from other nearby orbs like clashes. This may explain why in some photos where lots of orbs are seen that some will have holes in them. The energy mainly consists of positive energy as it searches for more to take back to the main power grid. When in visual contact with these objects they appear much larger than the regular orbs. Some can be as large as a small car, they can have wings, or have an oblong shape; and then there are the smaller ones that look narrow and long. In a video there was this black object observed to hover for a few short seconds and within that time frame it had changed its shape many times like it was breathing. So what can they be? At this point in time there isnt much known about them as they are very hard to detect as they evade the cameras ir (only slightly visible if watching closely). It may be absorbing any light like a black hole in space. They can be captured in photos but hard to see unless one lightens up the photo until it is visible. They can leave ectoplasm (orbplasm) trails behind as energy spent. I have observed one that cast a shadow during an evening when the moon was bright. It parked right beside me and the air where it hovered was cooler. So theoretically I am leaning towards shadow people on these objects. By not being able to see these investigators rely on instruments and temperature changes. These black objects, I suspect, are the ones responsible for the temperature changes. There is the real possibility these same objects can mimic footsteps, voices, and other noises such as doors or drawers opening and closing. What isnt clear is if these same objects can actually touch, poke, and other physical means. I wouldnt exclude it yet. From personal experience I feel there is a connection to the black objects and the sounds that can be heard and the EVP sounds we dont hear, as well as the physical sensations. So what are they? Anyones guess! I was thinking more on the terms of these bleeding through the dimensions as they only appeared occasionally every other cycle.
There appears to be another black object that may be plume like objects. I suspect these carry hundreds of orbs like a bus and this may be cloaked in. These are the ones I believe leave the ectoplasm. Capturing this one in photos may explain why there are lots of orbs all of a sudden (in warmer temperatures) for no reasonable explanation. However in cooler temperatures this mesh like surface is visible just as the flash strikes this object and ectoplasm (orbplasm) can be produced as if it were to turn into a vapor and surprisingly you have a display of an image varying from animals to people, creatures, past lives etc. So as we move forward on learning more about the black orbs and objects we can only work with the pieces we have for the puzzle. My perception on orbs; these are not the orbs that people think are airborne particles. They are not real in real time but they are there from another dimension. Over the years I have seen orbs pass through solid objects like the objects did not exist and yet these very solid objects are in real time, so are orbs in real time? No, they cant be and yet in real time they can cast a reflection in the mirror showing that they were in fact there. Confusing? Yes... and the intelligence of these objects and their demonstrations were caught in real time and were they there in real time like a dust ball is in real time and in our dimensions. Orbs come in many colors and sizes, colors havent been fully determined what they mean but size can be from the maturity it is, like the stages of advancement as it gathers energy to grow, much like children into adults and then more advancing stages into more cloaking and capabilities like the sounds and EVPs possible as the energy gets more powerful, then finally the ghost? That hasnt been proven yet but it is in my sights and not far away. I have many videos on orbs that blink. My idea is that is when they are in a mode of recollecting energy as they are moving very slow or it could be their way of trying to conserve it, thinking at the same time and listening in on what is happening around them. Orbs may be the eyes and ears to a much larger black mass that can be seen briefly and is very clever on hiding. Or is it our equipment that fails to expose them The Paranormal Explorer 35
Black Orbs and Mass Objects
These objects are the main energy for the EVPs and other occurrences. This model would have to cloak the colored orbs from sight and released as needed to collect each of the items needed and that may explain why in one instant there are tons of orbs and then a second later none to be seen. These occurrences can fool you into believing they look like particles in the air, but then how do particles vanish so fast? As for the ectoplasm (orbplasm) caught in photographs, how can it appear out of nowhere? This is the spent energy of orbs as a pre-drawn display of its character or memory. This is done faster than our real time because orbs and ectoplasm are not in real time, but became present time.

By the mid-fifteenth century, the term was meant to convey a torment in the context of unknown forces (such as spirits), and by the end of the century was synonymous with possession. It begs to question what Satan represents to each Satanist which uses it, and so you get caught up in the circle-jerk trying to understand the obsession. Dont misunderstand; I am not immune to such obsessions. I have been discussing this subject for the better part of two decades in an Internet environment alone. Perspective discussions are useful in understanding how others conceive use and what it does for them, to contrast and compare to your own. that to be the case. Thus, there is also an obsession to categorize Satanists into factions or identifiers. For example, if a particular Satanist believes in external forces such as deity or magic(k) - they are most likely to be labeled a Theistic Satanist. If a Satanist believes in deity, but not magic, they are labeled a Spiritual Satanist. If there is no belief in magic, deity, or similar concepts this is classified as a Satanic Atheist Materialist (or Modern Satanist), or if adherence to a specific philosophy such as that codified by Anton Szandor LaVey, simply LaVeyan Satanist (Philosophical) even if LaVey did not write explicitly about Atheism. And this is just the tip of the iceberg! I dont believe in absolutist language, I engage others and encourage them to do their own research, and extrapolate their own meaning. anything. Otherwise, it is meaningless. Im going to take a hard position on this, and say - it most certainly can mean anything and still be Satanism. At the center, is Satan, a symbolic representation to paint allegorical schemata in the mind. The -ism, implies a practice. It is through Satan, that the individual can establish what those practices are. More recently, I have been using Satanity[2] . The -ity, implies a quality, or a set of attributes. This is specifically what makes my Satanism unique to me but will include the pre-established attributes of Satan as a symbol as well as include many of my own. It has been my personal observation that self-styled Satanists, are obsessed with owning the language of Satan. You may have observed this yourself; hundreds of discussions are occurring right now at this moment, hashing out what is and isnt Satan, Satanic, Satanity, and Satanism. This obsession has become a disease of the mind.
Satanism is a very specific set of practices

For instance, in my own Satanism, I am socially active in terms of investigating the world I am a part of, but sharing my conclusions with others in social media. The seeking of truth, can present a side to an issue that someone may not have considered for themselves. By sharing my insights, it may provoke people to be more active in their own investigative work, thereby making better decisions, which will affect my sphere of reality. Thus, it is self-serving, in all cases. Is social activism exclusively a Satanic practice? No, any person can be active. However, it is the driving force for that activism that associates it with Satan. I am making the correlation and expressing it; thus Satan is a form of expression. Whether the expression is intended to be literal or symbolic, when Satan is expressed, it is the beginning of a chain reaction: Cause and Effect.
Right Hand Path/Left Hand Path - two sides of the same road
In this case, having self-concern is considered Left Handed while having concern for others is Right Handed. There is no purely altruistic act, thus even the belief that there is an exclusive RHP thought process can be traced back to self concern. The perceived clear and dividing lines between LHP and RHP can be blurred with reasoning. The most widely embraced is that the LHP represents power and autonomy while the RHP represents slavery and servitude. Some might argue that Satanism is the act of self worship that makes it exclusively Satanic, thereby making the worship of external gods un-Satanic. I see no literal difference between self-worship and Theism. The auto-deist sees himself as god; the theist projects himself as god. I am but one Satanist, I am not solipsist to believe that my personal definitions and usage should be
imposed upon all, although they can be an imposing and influential force one may be up against. I am out there, I have my own ideas and I practice what I preach. The adherence to a strict dogma or paradigm does not a Satanist make. Oh? This statement always makes me giggle. This is the dividing factor, herding sheep to the pack. And the pack is ready to slaughter such easy prey. Most Satanic Philosophies address achieving godhood by being autonomous. Being autonomous is not following a guide, guru, or becoming caught-up in a cult of personality. The use of sheep and wolves is symbolic language in use by Satanists. It implies that Sheep are stupid, follow shepherds, and find safety in numbers; while the Wolf is smarter, and can stand on its own. This dichotomy is flawed if you examine both animal species more closely. Its simply data-design to lead ideas. Take a look around at any social group of Satanists. All the archetypes are present and accounted for, especially the adherence to strict
dogma and/or axiomatic patterns of behavior.

Greetings to all readers, as we pass into the darker half of the year, and Autumn begins its Magick of colour change in woodlands, fields, and hedgerows, and the wheel creaks ever closer towards Samhain, and renewal again. Sandwiched between Lughnassadh, or Lammas as your preference, and Samhain, falls the wonder of Equinoxe; the balance of dark and light and one of the arms of the solar Cross of the ancients. A powerful time for workings and enjoyment of the wheels turn; a time when strange light effects can be found in the places of the Old Ones, if you search diligently, and have great patience. In the part of the Uk where I live, harvest comes late, well after Lughnassadh, the Grain is still being harvested, and the fruits of the forest; hedgerow, orchard and garden coincide with this part of the cycle of life, death, and renewal. Gathering the last Stook, or Neck of Wheat or Barley, from a friendly farmers field to form a Heart for a special sacrificial figure is one of the years tasks. The forming of the figure falls to the Males of the Coven, the Ladies placing their offerings and knots of intent within the last stuffing of the figure with Straw, ready for the eve of Equinoxe, or Mabon. Let me explain a little for those who do not know of the sacrifice undertaken by some traditions of Witchcraft the creation, and burning of the Wickerman. Long ago, Julius Caesar, wrote of the Wicker man, along with Lucan, the roman writer of record, and speaks of the druids forming a man like figure woven,

I was asked to write about my personal form of vampirism and how I came to the realization that I am, indeed, a vampire. So ... I guess I will begin with telling my story in my own way
The Life of A Real Vampire

n everyones life a mystery begins to unfold once they become aware of themselves as a singular being and not a we that belongs to the family. For most people, this begins about the time that they become sexually aware, during that awkward time known as puberty. For me, however, this period began with the knowledge that I was different. I was an outsider even among my VERY close knit family. I heard it every time I was around this particular portion of my family. Referred to as delicate natured and special during the nicer comments and Dianas boy during more cruel times. Not my fathers son; my mothers child by those members of my VERY close knit family that held me at arms length from the rest. Ive added this, not as a condemnation of my family whom I deeply love, but to set the scene for you, dear reader, to help you understand just how early MY awareness of my own individuality, my own singular nature, occurred. In the course of self awareness comes self discovery. In my personal self discovery, I learned that I had a penchant for knowing things were going to happen, for seeing someone was sick and for an array of friends I, in my youth, called the gray ones. Later, with time and development, I learned

I hated it and loathed myself for it, which manifested itself in the form of a foul temper to my healthy cousins. At the age of 11 this exploded into a fight with another family member on a Sunday School Bus. This family member, being stronger and healthier than my delicate self, easily pinned my arms to my side, the whole time laughing at me and making fun of me. I reacted instinctively. I reared my
head back and bit him. I bit deep and as hard as I could in my fit of anger, ripping through his clothes and flesh. I felt something warm, and tasted a metallic tang at the back of my throat and swallowed deeply. Sparks flew behind my closed eyes and the world almost literally shifted for me. We are a non-profit organization working on humanitarian issues within our New Orleans community. One of our primary/ultimate goals is to establish a homeless shelter catering primarily to gay/lesbian/ pagan peoples. Our shelter will offer a two-fold concept. We will not only provide overnight stay facilities, but for those people who are truly trying to make a better life for themselves, we will also provide transitional housing to help them achieve a rental history so that they can move into an apartment or house when the time comes. Each of the Big 3 Holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas) we offer free food to the hungry and homeless in Jackson Square. This is a project which I personally started the Thanksgiving AFTER Hurricane Katrina changed the lives of those, myself included, who were unable to evacuate for whatever reasons. This project started off as just me bringing food that I cooked to the Square. It has blossomed into a project that EACH active House in the New Orleans Vampire Association has donated to and participated in. We may be vampires, but we understand, accept, and work towards healing our WHOLE community. This in and of itself, sets us apart from even members of our own world-wide community, but we were NOT the first to do humanitarian aids and we will NOT be the last. What separates the vampire from the everyday man or woman is their NEED for the energies garnered from outside sources because of the vampires own lacking ability to manufacture these basic essential energies. NEED, in this case is not defined by the desire one feels for something as simple as an object, but being defined as a condition requiring relief; anything that is necessary but is lacking; the physiological feature that arouses an organism to action In a vampire, there exists the need to draw in and consume energies around them The necessary element that is lacking from them is the biological means to produce these basic essential energies on their own. TYPES OF FEEDING
* Sanguinary- The most widely known, but also the most misunderstood of all the feeding types. Being falsely dubbed psy-vamps on training wheels or some other such nonsense, this is, of course, a blood feeder, a person who can pull their much needed energies directly from a physical source. * Psychic- This type of vampire must feed on the ambient energies given off by all living entities, yet others, feed through direct link. They must have this link in order to draw in their much needed energies. * Pranic- This type of vampire, though touchbased and physical, like the sanguinary when attaining the energies they need, derive their much needed energies from all of the dense prana energies given off by the body, including sexual contact. The difference between the Pranic and Sanguinary vampire is that a true sanguinary only draws their energies from the blood. * Elemental- Most feed on the elements of fire, water and wind, due to the difficulty most have when attempting to feed from the prime elements of the Earth. They can tap into the para-elementals of plant-life (IE trees, grass, bushes and house plants), but for some reason dirt, rocks and gemstones elude them. * Empathic- This feeder pulls their much needed energies from the emotional energies given off. Most of this ambient emotional energy, however, some, as with psychic feeders, must establish a link in order to do this. * Negative- Most of these vampires feed on the already prevalent negative energies that are present each and every day. They hold an innate ability within themselves to flip this energy to a positive feeding for them. However, there are negative feeders out there that will create very negative situations in order to feed. to their obvious hazardous nature. * Eclectic- These vampires have awakened with the need for multiple sources of energy to maintain their already precarious balance of energies. This distinctive nature gives them some obvious advantages, like the capability of drawing energies from many sources instead of being locked into just one and having to adapt to others. The drawback to this is that sooner or later, if they not do not maintain a semblance of balance in these feeds, they too will feel the same side effects any other vampire would feel not feeding. * Adaptive- These vampires, through necessity, such as a lack of donors for a sanguine vampire, have adapted to other feedings in order to attain there much needed energies. However, there is a slight drawback. Adaptive feeders must return to their primary feed. The primary feed implies the source of energy that was needed when the vampire first awakened... Every few years or so, someone comes along and changes the standard accepted vocabulary for reasons that range from finding nuances to the vampiric condition to just wanting to not sound so plane to wanting to sound better than everyone else to whatever happens to be going through their mind at that particular moment. Ive stopped with the accepted terms for vampirism in the early to mid 1990s for the benefit of this writing.
COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS OF VAMPIRISM

he misconceptions of vampirism have become so widespread due to the popularization of fictional vampires, such as Dracula and Lestat, and the steady dogma pushed upon society as a whole by Catholicism and Judeo/Christians alike. This perpetuation of myth and misconception by religious forces has done nothing but create an air of fear and suspicion, to which psychologists and psychiatrists have added to this stating that persons are not suffering from vampirism but some sort of dementia or psychosis. Some of the more common misconceptions surrounding vampirism are: Severe/deadly reaction to silver, severe/deadly reaction to garlic, adverse reactions to holy objects/holy ground/holy water, people of faith cause pain and/or suffering, sunlight is lethal, Cain is the father of all vampires, Lilith is the mother of all vampires, and vampires must either sleep in coffins or possess earth from their homelands in order to rest. Another continually misguided misconception is that any vampire who is a practicing pagan of any path will only cause groups they are associated with to lose power. This is a fallacy derived from not knowing the extent of the vampires condition and what that particular vampire requires to build up their diminished essential energies. All too often, covens and practitioner groupings will drive a vampire away, when in fact, the vampire was the very person they needed to gain the energies needed for a particular spell working. Not every party you go to will have a vampire draining the life out of the party This can be a number of things besides vampires, including an unwanted ex boy/girlfriend showing up or an untrained empathic person going through a really hard time shows up. Dont just jump to the easiest conclusion Generally, the easiest answer is the wrong one. There are organizations out there that are trying to combat these misconceptions (and others), yet I caution all who read this, that there are those that are

here are some common factors (perhaps falsely) labeled as symptoms. These symptoms, as with many other physical conditions, mimic a variety of other physical conditions. The key to remember here is that a vampire NEEDS the energies he or she is drawing upon to maintain their physical, mental and emotional balance. It is suggested that this be signed by both the vampire and the donor on a 30/60/90 day trial basis. After this, the contract can be resigned for an extended period of time which can be either the 30/60/90/ or 6 months to 1 year. Having been a UFO investigator for the past 20 years, its now very hard to imagine a time when the majority of the western world did not believe in UFOs. Things are much different now of course. It is just a small minority of people who still cling onto the belief that ALL sightings can be explained away by the result of hallucinations, secret warplanes, natural weather phenomena, Venus/swamp gas, or reflections of moonlight bouncing off cabbage patch fields. Thankfully, there are a good many scientists around the world who have joined with the rest of the public to now acknowledge the existence of these bizarre aerobatic wonders. But why has there been such a huge change in public opinion in the last 10 years? Is it simply down to more of these wonders visiting our skies? Or is it that we are looking up into the heavens more often now than we did before? The latter would be a hard argument to win in this digital age, with less and less people venturing outside, and choosing rather to switch on the computer, or choose to watch television from the 120 plus channels all vying for our attention. I would argue that it is simply down to the huge proliferation of UFO articles being publicised in the media. UFOs have always been seen, ever since the dawn of humankind (a number of ancient cave paintings clearly show what we now know to be UFOs), and may I refer the reader to the excellent Erich Von Daniken books if ever proof was needed. privilege of being at one of his presentations at a UFO conference) who during the early 1970s, whilst on a beach with his family on a very hot summers day in Weymouth (which is situated on the south coast of England), he witnessed a metallic, shimmering object, spinning and hovering in the clear blue sky above. He instantly recognised this as a classic UFO (having observed them throughout his life), but was more astonished that no one else on the beach was observing this mysterious object. He pointed this object out to his family, who looked up and saw the UFO, and naturally got quite excited by what they saw. This was a valuable lesson to Mike Oram. Here was a beach packed with sun-seekers on a hot summers day, and a UFO was hovering right above them, yet nobody had noticed it! Nobody observed it! I reiterate, THE UFOs HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HERE! Why have the media started to take a very strong interest in the UFO phenomena? As I write this, there are no less than 5 different documentaries about UFOs being shown today across the various television channels. And what about tomorrow? And the next day? And thats just the television! What about the multitude of internet channels highly prolific in UFO documentaries, not to mention the amount of paranormal radio shows? And my local newsagent now stocks 7 different paranormal magazines, all of them rich in UFO articles. All of this would have been unthinkable just 10 years ago. So what exactly happened? Well, like I mentioned earlier, the media has at long last started to portray the UFO phenomena with the seriousness it deserves. covering up any such mysterious news items from the public (there will always be contradictions to this, such as The Warminster Thing published in The Daily Mirror during 1965/1966, where I believe the odd occasional story seems to slip through the net of the watchful eye of the establishment). Im convinced other governments around the world had in place their own D-Notice procedures. It is always therefore astonishing to find two very big exceptions to this, whereby two governments effectively publicly announced the existence of UFOs Belgium in 1990 and Mexico in 1991. What provoked these two nations to go public? Quite simply, they could no longer withhold the truth from the public, after what the public had witnessed. In Belgium, in March 1990, a huge triangular object was seen moving silently across the country, with a smaller triangle nearby. Two F-16 jet fighters were scrambled into the air, where there were a total of 9 attempts to intercept the colossal UFO. Each attempt failed, as the object simply outwitted the jets by doing incredibly fast manoeuvres. The objects were seen by thousands of people, including police, military personnel, and TV news crews. Some scientists foolishly claimed the sighting was simply a mass hallucination (I find such claims ludicrous and insulting). In Mexico, throughout 1991, a whole sequence of Here in the UK, just a short time ago in August 2011, a very well respected BBC sports presenter, driving to Stanstead Airport to cover a sporting event in Europe, witnessed an incredible UFO, whereby he described it was a large white saucer-shaped object, and it hovered over a field before banking to the left out of sight. It had multi-coloured lights underneath. There was a driver of another vehicle in front of him who also stopped to watch this bizarre sight. The BBC allowed him to go on the news to report to millions of people exactly what he saw that morning. Later that night, the highly serious and credible BBC Newsnight TV show did a fascinating article on the USA and Russian secret government UFO files. 2012 Part 1: Angels, Aliens, and Nature Spirits, Oh My!

I started writing this thinking I could lay it all out in a neat little letter, but as I started to write I went into waterfall mode. This is a very overwhelming state to be in, as it is so hard to keep up on without being swept away. In asking my friends for help with this, they suggested I pace it and break the letter up into sections. This subject is so vast, and I cannot just give point form sentences. Some people will need to have some evidence to back up all that I speak about and how I came to grasp what this is about and how it all works. I hope this all makes sense and is not too complex. What I understand is that all lives we have ever lived, all dimensions, worlds and times will go from a big bang explosion--a separation, hide-and-seek, peek-a-boo with the divine--to an implosion, meaning that we will merge into one. The Paranormal Explorer 62 With all realities being so and with our having this blind veil, which means everything we have thought to be unreal is actually real, and with the removal of the veil we will see it first-hand. People will see nature spirits, angels, extraterrestrials, and then some. I am already meeting with people who can see them: young kids about 5 and under, mystics, monks, people who have had an NDE or OBE, and people who have done things with hallucinogenic properties. Now if people tell you that stuff is not real, just tell them that we only use 30 percent of our eyes, and there is a heck of a lot that we are not seeing. Not just that, we cannot see what is there if all our lives we have been dishonest with ourselves. The biblical saying Thou shalt not lie means do not lie to yourself because lies will be all you see. So you will ask yourself, are you lying to your eyes or are your eyes lying to you? Perhaps they are only showing you what you want to see. In just the same way, so many tell others what they want to hear. Then how can we be surprised when people turn out to be not what we thought? So honesty with self is key to understanding all this, meaning that people will eventually have to empty their cup of being to find out who they are. It is a form of surrender and humility, both necessary for the process. More people are seeing more than ever before; however, we could also see nature spirits in the early 1800s. There are many people who can see them in other countries, as in Iceland for example. What is going on with these people? member because their conscious mind filters out what is and is not reality. To me, the conscious mind seems like the Illuminati in that it decides what I can and cannot know, like our education system and the media. What happens is that every paranormal experience we have gets filed to the bottom of the pile, like the mind saying, No, we cannot deal with that yet, so we will do it later. Were not ready, so perhaps we will deal with it in dream time. The mind will do this for countless lifetimes until what was on the bottom of the pile has risen to the top and now bleeds into our reality. Each person sees entities that are from their comfort, belief, or reference zones. So many people are talking about the star people showing themselves. Will we finally allow ourselves to see them as a cooperative collective? Then there are the nature spirits and angels. They have also spoken to me about being more present in our lives. So what does this mean? Are they all coming together for one big tea party? What is the nature of the relationship between E.T.s and fairies? What are the parallels between angels, nature spirits, and star people? To interact with all of them brings about missing time. (Better hire a detective because here we go.) Each of them expresses a particular age or worldview, but together they show an extraordinary kinship of mind and spirit. They came from a strange dimension that is both part of, and outside the world, and the people they took vanished into this dimension too. They all seemed to have superpowers, and David Wilcock and many others speak about us all having these kinds of powers. Like angels, ghosts, or aliens, fairies were shape-shifters. and fire. They exhibited strangely inhuman behaviour and came from an undefined dimension. They were in this world but not of it. Many mistake fairies for ghosts. What about the gods? Is this also just another word for these beings? Gods are from the stars, etc. Both aliens and fairies often took up people with them. Reputedly, they needed to mate with women as they could not reproduce themselves. Occasionally, a man could also be taken, and certainly children. I have come across many people who were swapped in the crib. They are known as changelings. Old documents even exist that recount, factually stories of the abductions of humans by fairies (aliens), stories that were certainly believed by many. Fairies and aliens were outside normal human concepts of good and bad. Sometimes they rewarded goodness, and sometimes they exhibited extreme maliciousness. They were seen as very much of this world, human beings who sold their souls, but they were mischievous in the true, strong meaning of the word, which usually means destructive. They were said to have no souls (Greys or Reptilians). Always they followed their own agenda, their own destiny. The ancestry of fairies is also very old. Like angels, they come from a mixture of ideas and myth. On one side, they could trace their ancestry back to the Fates, the three Greek sisters who wove and controlled life of the past, present, and future. But on another side, they came from the dimension The Paranormal Explorer 64 that was the past, but the mythological, imaginable past. Fairies, aliens, ascended masters, and/or angels took people away, and if they ever let them go again, they were often never the same, the glamour still on them, the spell never quite broken, so that they seemed touched in the head. It is interesting how each entity has been tailored to the three beliefs that I work to merge. From mysticism they would be the nature spirits; from religion they would be the angels; and from science they would be aliens. by fairies, who thousands of years ago were taken up by angels. They cannot be discounted. They are an expression of some metaphysical reality that we cannot fully grasp, something for which myth is the spoken form. To label a race or being bad on the basis of what a few rogue beings have done has always seemed rather primitive to me. Its racist and not fair. I often fought with my dad about reptilians, telling him that they are not all bad. Perhaps only 30 percent are bad, and the rest are lightworkers trying to help. These beings come from another dimension of space/time, which seems more scientific, more suited to the spirit of the age than heaven or the past is. Like fairies and angels, they affect our notions of time. People talk of losing entire hours on board a spaceship, just as the fairies stole time from those they took, and the angels took humans out of the reach of time. They carry within them the same arbitrary power as do angels and fairies. Sometimes, they also carry messages of judgment for us and what we are doing on this planet. Because all of us are children of our age, we become more anxious about aliens than we do about fairies or angels. (Aliens are the expression of a scientific age, an age that is post-industrial; an age that no longer believes wholeheartedly in progress and is in fact afraid of its relentless, spiralling confusion.) We are not sure any more if we truly believe in the world of rationalism. In short, even the most hardened sceptic has moments of doubt as to that all-embracing theory. Of course, the field is open to all kinds of charlatans and hoaxers, but some abduction stories are, indeed, troubling. The abductees seem like such common people to whom something inexplicable has happened, and who stick to their stories through thick and thin. They often sound like they wish the whole thing had never happened to them. They speak of it ruining their lives. And there are always the sceptics, as in any age. Imagine the horse-laugh of those who didnt believe Ezekiel, or the sneer behind away with the fairies. And in this age, more than any other, we are aware of the tyranny of the sceptic or ungodly. So what? Are we supposed to believe not only in the existence of aliens, but also fairies and angels? Are we to be eternally credulous, believing everything that comes along? Is this what the New Age is or is it the old age? A world both without religion and science, an abyss haunted with every ancient and modern monster, where the mind knows no barrier and the spirit no guidance? It is, I suppose, Shakespeares response: the knowledge that there are, indeed, more things in heaven and earth that are dreamt of in any philosophy, in any single system. My guides told me that fairytales and myths are the most accurate history we have to date because they have not been tampered with, as the majority no longer believes they are real. My dad also told me that Star Wars is a true story, but it is our past. The knowledge in myths expresses more truly the deepest spiritual truths than any careful exposs, any rationally-argued proofs. The gates between our deepest and highest levels are not always shut. In myth, in religion, in art, they are open, and through them mingle all kinds of things that can seem surprising and even terrifying. And for those who are not used to unlocking those gates, they can sometimes open by themselves, scaring the wits out of the person experiencing it. For if the mind is not invited to feast on things unseen, if it is not allowed to find truth in myth, at all kinds of levels, it will rebel and throw up those images anyway. Oh, you can run, but you cannot hide. In how many lives have we run from ourselves? Its like characters in the Bugs Bunny cartoons being chased by their foe, and The Paranormal Explorer 65

so they disguise themselves with arbitrary things, fake moustaches, wigs, and makeup and say, Huh? He went that a way. So the game continues as we find ourselves in this life where we have nowhere to go, where we can no longer put off cleaning out our closets. And what is our closet but our psyche? Faith is a truth of the psyche, of the spirit. It is a thing which we ignore at our peril. Some of us are lucky enough to be legitimately in pursuit of this, whether theologically, or artistically. But for those who cant or wont, where does that leave them? In the days when angels and fairies were considered real, that was not such a psychological impasse. But in a time when to translate such realities is seen as magical realism, the mind must still, nevertheless, fasten onto something. There is, to my mind, something curiously impoverished about the stories of aliens and alien abductions. There is always surgery, something that appears rational, and always batteries of scientific instruments. That is surely because we are no longer allowed to believe in the more ancient manifestations, so that we must tie our myths desperately to a semblance of rationality. Its possible for us to really determine if there are extraterrestrials. Aliens are useful because although their existence appears possible, in reality, it is simply impossible to have total proof they exist. Because we cannot travel at beyond the speed of light, or can we? In the end, you need as much faith to believe in aliens as in angels or fairies or to be fully in touch with what you knew to be true when you were a child before all the conditioned programming. But what do these strange kin have in common? What do they represent? What core do they touch in us? They are all alien, neither good nor evil, removed somehow from us, yet strangely kin to us as well. They are symbolised by circles. They practice abductions. They are not of this world, but neither are they decisively out of it. They appear to be a minor, but powerful symbol of immanence, of the strange-speaking silence of the universe, of the otherworld we feel all around us but only dimly glimpse, only fleetingly grasp. Yet they hold terrors for us. What lies beyond the borders of our human lives, beyond our human everyday thoughts and feelings (as in the case of David Icke and Arizona Wilder) may also be scary. If we will be able to see spaceships, aliens, and fairies, will we also be able to see dragons? Will the people see their leaders for what they really are? Will it be like that Homer Simpson Halloween episode with Kang and Kodos running as Dole and Clinton, where it does not matter which one we vote for because we still will be slaves? This is definitely an old paradigm where people are so drugged up and afraid that they will just comply with the reptiles. With the new paradigm, what will people do when they see the reptiles? No wonder, within peoples psyches, when it comes to the other realms, we are not sure whether we truly want to enter with them, to understand, for then we would lose that very quality of humanity, our life of comforting labels. They are shape-shifters. Constantly, they twist and turn and show themselves in all kinds of different lights, so that even as I write, I see them change again, transmuting, never still, like a cloud, like water, like us. I bet you are wondering how this all works exactly. I was told that crop circles are made by star beings sending a telepathic message to the nature spirits, who would then actually make the pattern and sacred geometry of it, hoping to trigger our memory of who we are and what kind of reality we live in. Nature spirits live in harmony with the planet, so much so that they can bend wheat without breaking it. Is this true, or is it just another stepping stone to grasp a greater truth? My dad told me one time how a blue fairy from the moon came to visit him and did some healing on him. I wondered, are nature spirits from other planets? Are they alien too? Well, in a sense they are. I then was blasted to the time I retorted to the kids in school that aliens are angels and angels are aliens. Where did that come from? What did I know at that time? Again, only a child really understands this. I highly recommend that you look at pictures of yourself when you were five and under. Look deep into your eyes, and you will tap into your mind at that time. You will bring what you knew then to yourself in this present moment. It will be like a download. You will see firsthand in 2012 why it says in the Bible that only one who possesses the heart of a child may enter the kingdom of God, or why it says a child will lead the way. Your inner child and your children will indeed lead the way. When I was 17, I got inspired to write this cartoon script called The Star Seed Chronicles or Memoirs of a Star Seed. It was all about the story of humanity, and it had aliens and fairies and angels. I do not know of one book star beings, fairies, or angels, one is in an altered state like a spell. The interesting thing about that is that all paranormal activity takes place when people are in the theta brain wave state Beta brain waves are what most linear, left-brain logical ones exist in a majority of the time. Delta is the brain wave state we experience when we are sleeping, and alpha is where we go when we day dream or meditate. It helps you get into a no-thought state. The monks knew about this in order for them to go into nirvana. It is a scientific fact that we learn more when we are not thinking, which is why as a blond I do not think. I exist in alpha (smiles). Now between alpha and delta is theta. This state is a lot like the twilight zone where no time and space exists or the laws are dispelled. This happens to us in the astral 4th dimension realm as well, which I will get to later. It is in this altered state of mind where hypnosis is so effective and interactions with other worldly beings take place, not to mention the missing time. This concludes Part 1. Present analysis of our economy provides evidence of the desperation and concern of mainstream America regarding a secured and steady income. In the early years of this country, when our economy was on a roll, one could count on keeping a job until retirement age. I state that lightly, because our economy, as we have often been told, has been in trouble for a very long time. Passing from the last decade into this present one, the history of those employed in corporate America has always been just one paycheck away from losing everything they were working hard to keep. Even so, many were earning just a smidgen above minimum wage, the exception being the worker who held a position in a company over and above a 10 year timeframe. With this in mind, is there any solution towards a positive improvement to our present economy? The answer lies within us on an individual basis. Gone are the days where we rely on the traditional way of gaining money. This is a time that calls for inner strength. Yes, something no one wants to hear right now, but a truth nonetheless. If you look at where we are versus where we were in the earlier age of our country, it is obvious that the universe demands change. We are transitioning to that new wave of consciousness, the one that is so popularly talked about. We are now being placed in positions where we must use our inner strengths to cope with our outer universe. This realization carries with it the question of how. How do you transition from a decade of working for someone else to earn your living to having to return back to school, learn a new skill, or start a business with no capitol at a time when the economy is at its most challenging? The universe provides these answers for us in simple and subtle ways. The tool it uses is economics, to get your attention. What better way than to grab at our pockets. In this challenging economy of 2011 you are placed in a position where the only resource at your disposal is your inner gifts to manifest your desired outcome. So, pay attention! This gift only works through the Universal Law of Attraction, popularly recognized as Faith. However, using the energy of faith sometimes brings positive results and at other times the results are disappointing as many of us have experience on a variety of occasions. The Law of Attraction also carries a sister Universal Law of Repelling. Depending on how you use the energy of faith determines which of these you put into effect for your desired outcome to a situation. For positive results of a desired outcome every time you make a request of the universe you will have to combine faith with the energy of knowing. Faith, if not combined with knowing, is another form of hoping that something will turn out the way you desire. Many times using the energy of faith in a traditional sense leaves you balancing on a tightrope of bouncing back and forth between being sure that a thing will happen and in another moment feeling not so sure, feeling uncertain is the action that follows thought waves of doubt, which begets the energy wave of fear. This is why many are unable to see their desires manifest. Knowing is being confident of a thing with certainty. Being confident and certain, that what you ask of the universe will come to be is a thousand times more powerful then being in a state of thinking that maybe what you have asked will show up. We are very powerful beings, what we think and speak inevitably comes to pass...the good and the bad! If you think you will lose your home, have to live off food stamps, stay with an un-liked relative, or fear of being struck with a fatal illness then that is exactly what will come into YOUR life. On the same token you can reverse that negative thought wave and declare a positive outcome to your present situation with certainty and confidence that it will be, and watch it unfold before you. It could possibly happen quickly, there are many that can testify to such speedy results, or it may happen slowly...it all depends on how much YOU trust and KNOW that things will work out for the best.

The more we practise allowing our energy to flow during meditation and healing sessions, the more likely it becomes that we will experience old, blocked feelings. By allowing these to flow out of us it is important to focus on the positive effect of releasing feelings and old thinking patterns. Then we are ready to spread healing with others. This poem was channeled by Eva Broch Pierrakos and is featured in the marvelous book, Light Emerging. by Barbara Ann Brennan. If you are considering some self healing or are training to become a therapist yourself, this book will show you the way.

they will return my smile. I wont say every time because there are those that, well, will not smile back no matter what. These people give me a challenge. Right or wrong, I still smile or wave and show nothing but kindness to the sour puss. I have not had many who did not eventually at least smile back. It may not be a big smile, but YOU MADE THEM SMILE! That person reflected back the energy they had received. That one act of smiling may have lightened their load for a minute, or even made their day. Of course the opposite of that positive energy exchange is true. If you present an attitude you can most certainly expect the other person to be defensive and give you the same type of attitude. Going back to the example of the person who stole your parking spot, if you react with disrespect, yelling and screaming and calling them unkind names, you can certainly expect to get the same energy back. Respect is not a given; it is earned by your mannerism, what you say and how you say it. Keep in mind, to get respect you need to show respect. I remember a particular parking spot situation where I unknowingly pulled into a spot that was vacant only to realize another vehicle was attempting to take the same spot. Before I could react with an apology the older couple in the vehicle had pulled away in search of another spot to park. I truly felt bad as I did not see them when I pulled in. Fortunately, I ran across them in line at the restaurant and had the opportunity to apologize explaining my error. They were very kind and understanding and we ended up chatting as we waited in the buffet line. A potential unpleasant situation was given way to a more positive energy and we both walked away without giving another thought to who got the parking spot or not. I showed them respect and I received their respect in return. We all have encounters where we can turn a potential negative into a positive. It often amazes me that people tend to be kinder to strangers than their immediate family or loved ones. I can never figure that one out. Shouldnt we care more about what our loved ones think than some stranger we have had a brief encounter with? Is it that our loved ones know us through and through and will love us anyway, good or bad? That leads my thoughts to that of unconditional love. Not just

Our life experiences are the key elements which help to mold who we are today. We are always ever changing with the choices we make throughout our life and the people we open our hearts to, for these are the experiences that have impacted our inner being, our true self. Some relations we have with others may not be such easy tasks to undertake, whether it is a family member, a work associate, or the person who just cut you off in traffic. When we become upset with someone or something we must be able to look within to ask ourselves why this particular instance made us feel this emotion. We must take the time to analyze the situation and come to a relative and logical decision. What you do will affect all involved, some things require some kind of action, and others require no more than thought. No matter what, it will have some kind of effect for you and others. The people we encounter are generally a mirror of ourselves. If you become angry at the guy who took the parking spot you had been patiently waiting for perhaps you did the same thing to someone else on another occasion. I like to think this is lifes way of helping me realize areas that I may need to work on. The goal is to release negative reactions when I come upon unpleasant circumstances by looking through my past experiences to connect where the negative emotion might stem from. Then focus on healing that past event and the emotion connected with it. In doing so, you will find that your reaction to unpleasant events are less aggressive and prevents hurtful feelings both for yourself and the others involved. In my daily activities I always try to spread happiness to everyone I meet. This is an energy that can be spread and multiplied throughout the world. For example, when I am at the grocery store I can tell who is having a sour day and who is not. I try smiling and saying hello to the sour individual. Most times The Paranormal Explorer 72
in reference to your close friends and family, but to everyone we encounter each day. We are created in Gods image. not God-like. if we were, we could all walk on water. But, we cannot. So we are in a position to make our own decisions. Remember we are not all alike and it is okay to agree to disagree on things. Thats part of being individuals, part of being human, and should be part of demonstrating unconditional love. Lets look at love more in depth and try to gain a better perspective of just what it is. Love has no single definition and is not easily explained. Love contains several levels or stages and they all involve our being in different ways. What does it mean to you when someone says they love you with all of their heart and soul? Wow! Is that even possible? I believe it is. Let me break it down a little. Our soul is our WHOLE BEING; the power of our lives. All other things are sub-categories: Spiritual is the driving force of life Mental is our thought and process Physical contains all of our senses; sight, sound,
touch, smell, taste, heartbeat, strength, sore muscles, achy joints sorry, I got carried away there. Emotional is a direct result of your surroundings; mental and physical are the primary triggers for emotions. Heart is a living thing within our bodies that keeps us alive. That is a powerful muscle, and is part of our life force. Without it there is no physical life. Okay, so back to my question. What does it mean to you when someone says they love you with all of their heart and soul? What does it mean to me? When this is true, it is a very spiritual, mental, physical and emotional thing and is so powerful, deep, and unconditional. This person is saying they love you with their whole being and life force. What can be bigger than that coming from a human being? When the woman I love walks into the room I have amazing feelings. When she touches my hand I have emotional pleasure. There is the love of God, a belief which is, at first, mental. As you grow in whatever religion you follow you will experience the emotions and spiritual peace that comes with true belief. Other levels of love include: Love of your parents Love of your siblings Love of your partner, Im sorry Lord, but this is my favorite, unlike any other love experience I have ever had. Love of your unborn child Love of a child Love Thy Neighbor Love of friends who are like family, and finally Love of all beings Its often easy to love those we are expected to love such as our family members; or is it? It is very difficult when blending the personalities and environmental differences into one love. But, with practice this can be attained. Anything worth having should be worth working toward, right? When you have an issue or disagreement with someone you love it is okay to give yourselves some space, BUT before you do, let your loved one know that you love them, unconditionally. Tell them I LOVE YOU; I understand your point, and I hope you understand mine. Your relationship will continue to grow from that simple frame of mind. This example can be helpful when dealing with all those we encounter in our day-to-day life. Of course it might be a little far-fetched to have a disagreement with your boss and end it with Hey, I love you. At least put forward your positive energy. But although it might seem uncomfortable at first, isnt that the very example that Christ demonstrated when He dealt with His disciples and His adversaries? What a wonderful world we could create if we all followed this example of expressing our love, unconditionally, to all those we encounter. Some words of wisdom I have come to live by are; dont live your life for someone else, live it for yourself. Keep in mind you may have to compromise on some things though. If you are not happy with yourself you are no good to anyone else. Relationships are a lot of give and take, thats what makes them work. Communication is the MASTER KEY. Talk is just talk. Take time to really listen, no TV, no computer or phones, no distractions (if possible). Look at the person talking to you; give them your undivided attention. Youd be surprised at what youve been missing, or just not REALLY hearing. AND give them your input, even if it is just a nod or a smile to let them know you are listening. If they ask for your thoughts, give them. There are some things you may have to respond to in a tactful way, but do it honestly. When you can connect with the inner peace of who you are, outside of your family, your job, your income, your vehicle, your appearance; your religion, outside of all these factors and connect with your soul self, the higher being of your soul, you will see what a truly perfect world we live in, and we will react to lifes situations with that one unconditional love. When we express that positive energy outward to those we interact with each day, we are sharing that energy in an exchange; they will in turn take that energy and multiply it in a continual expression of love.

DUALITY VS. ONENESS I was recently involved in a discussion on Facebook where the question was raised, and Ill paraphrase, what tools might we need to effectively connect with people and assist them in raising their vibration for humanities sake? This question assumes that we need to do something to raise the vibration of the planet; however, I believe that we do not need to do anything, but to surrender and flow with the currents that are naturally raising our planets consciousness. The concept of surrendering seems strange to our mind (ego), something which has been conditioned from childbirth to do, do, do, to get love, love, love. Like Albert Einstein said, We cant solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. To do is an attempt to prove ourselves worthy for the sake of feeling loved and accepted, rather than surrendering into the reality that we are already love itself. It explains that world peace is achieved not by sitting down at a bargaining table and meeting half way, but by becoming our own truth, and then living it one hundred percent. However, readers were left wondering how they could become their own truth, thus becoming in themselves world peace. So this article is a follow up on what it means to be the change in our life, our family, our community, our nation, and our world.

In duality there is a good and bad and a right and a wrong; but then there is the enlightened state of oneness, in which all things are connected and one, even the opposites of duality and oneness. It is by integrating the opposites of duality that we create enough space around our splintered self to experience oneness, and to experience the connection of oneness is to have surrendered into an acceptance of the reality of what iseven if the what is is duality itself. In oneness, duality is no more wrong than oneness is
right, they just are, and that too is perfect. EGOIC STRUCTURE Since we have so much practice doing as an ego, how can we switch gears and surrender into being and presence? This is a legitimate question that requires an answer, and oddly enough, the answer looks a lot like doing. As I outlined in my last article, our egoic structure is created by our family and society of origin, and is firmly in place by the time we are seven years old; everything we experience and learn after that is in-

terpreted within this egoic framework. So to answer the question, quite simply, our egoic structure needs to be deconstructed one belief at a time, until we reach a point of internal critical mass and plunge head first into a complete surrender to what is. Life is a lot like the childrens song, Row, Row, Row Your Boat, in which we do not determine the path the river takes, but we can either row upstream against the current, expending tremendous amounts of energy along the way, or relax going downstream, surrendering into the reality that we have no control. When we surrender into the flow and direction of the river, we experience peace, relaxation, and happiness, because merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream. So why do our egos keep us rowing upstream then? The answer is that we are afraid to let go of our perceived sense of control, and the dream state of duality is all about the notion that we can actually control our lives. Our brain is the computer and the mind/ego is the programming that we identify ourselves as; it is our survival instincts, natures way to keep us safe from perceived threats and harm. In the midst of growing up, our environment imprints all manner of patterns to keep us safe, and can overlay many contradictory beliefs that cause us to expend tremendous amounts of energy going nowhere. These contradictory beliefs can be related to an infinite loop in computer programming lingo, which according to Wikipedia is a sequence of instructions in a computer program which loops endlessly, either due to the loop having no terminating condition, having one that can never be met, or one that causes the loop to start over. Wikipedia goes on to say, infinite loops usually cause the program to consume all available processor time, but can usually be terminated by the user. Our brains are very complex organic computers, but like a modern PC, we must terminate the infinite loops manually, utilizing some form of releasing such as journaling, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques/meridian tapping), or the Sedona Method. The more we release our infinite loops, the more processing power we have to experience life as it is, and the easier it is to surrender into the universal flow of life. CONTROL Since the primary motivation for our mind/ego is fear; we do everything in our power to control life to make it less scary. We attempt to control everything and everyone, either actively or passively, because we think that it will keep us safe. We may use love, fear, blame, anger, compliance, submissiveness, or anything else to manipulate and get what we think we want, but these attempts can be narrowed down to one thinglies. We use lies, and more often than not, half truths, in an attempt to manipulate life to satisfy our fears. We lie from a fear that we will lose control of the person or situation, for to lose control would be to place ourselves in a dangerous situation. All attempts at control are arguing with reality and an effort to satisfy our fear. ACTIVE VS. PASSIVE CONTROL When we attempt to actively control a person or situation, we are trying to secure something and prove that our perceived truth is right. When the person or situation goes along with our attempts of control, we feel justified, which gives us a false sense of safety. We confuse using lies and half-truths to control as speaking our truth, which further justifies our beliefs about the situation. Here is an example of using a half-truth to actively control another person: to offer tremendous amounts of love and affection in an attempt to receive security within a relationship. On the other side of the coin, we have passive control, and when we do this in an attempt to control a person or situation, we are conforming and giving in to secure what we think we want. Here is an example of using a halftruth to passively control another person: to submit to the expectations of a partner in an attempt to receive security within the relationship. Passivity is easily confused with the concept of being, as both look like surrender, however with passivity, we are still attempting to manipulate a person or situation to get what we want instead of surrendering into an acceptance of reality. If you are surrendering and still feel afraid, you are actually still attempting to passively control, as true surrender is accompanied by the feeling of peace and a sense of acceptance. Since we are programmed with a lot of infinite loops, in both aspects of control, we are caught trying to manage many contradictory angles of any given situation. The more subconscious catch-22s that we have, the more fear and anxiety that we will struggle with daily. These catch-22s are actually a blessing in disguise, as they turn up the internal heat inside of us, not allowing us to remain blind to our inability to control life. RESISTANCE Another face of control is resistance, and this too can be done actively or passively. When we feel we are being controlled by another person, we try to get our power back through resisting their perceived control. We only resist supposed authority figures, whether it is a person or our concept of God. We become resistant to life as a result of a childhood filled with parents and authority figures who dominate our young lives. An example of actively resisting authority is when we stand up to somebody who is attempting to actively or passively control us, and we do this by being either aggressive, passive aggressive, or even assertive. We often mistake this form of resistance as speaking our truth, as we are attempting to gain our control back, instead of owning how powerful we already are here and now. situation that we find out what we are afraid of, as well as what lies we are telling to manipulate and get our way. Through admitting the lies that we have been telling to justify each limiting belief, and by releasing the two extremes, along with the root fear contained within the limiting belief, we neutralize the old pattern and shift into not only speaking our truth, but being our truththis is integration. To sum it up, it is by integrating the opposites of duality, and by eliminating our lies, that we actually speak our truth and reach that place of surrender, acceptance, and oneness. THE SEDONA METHOD Integration takes a lot of emotional awareness to begin to work the process, something that the reader may not have initially when beginning this journey. This is why I will take the time now to do a generic release that will prepare you for your trip towards complete spiritual awakening. This is a great trick from The Sedona Method, a form of emotional releasing by Hale Dwoskin, called a holistic release, for neutralizing the energetic charge surrounding an issue that is causing you distress. It toys with the duality of any given issue while assisting you to integrate the two extremes, thus settling into an overall acceptance of it. You can simply ask these two questions back and forth, answering yes or
An example of passively resisting can be best illustrated by a child who walks slowly to their parents when told to come here right now! They obviously do not want to walk towards their parents, because they are in trouble and about to receive a punishment. To be forced to walk into a punishment is not their truth, so they do what they can, they resist by walking slow. The child is submitting to the authority figure to gain acceptance and to avoid a worse punishment, and at the very least, they feel some small amount of perceived control in that moment. Passively resisting can also be mistaken for being, as it is just another mask of passive control. INTEGRATION In order to speak our truth, we must first examine the two extremes of the issue that we are dealing with. In each of the control dramas that we find ourselves immersed in, we find that we believe there is a right and a wrong, a good and a bad. It is by examining the two ends of the

no, until the control drama dissolves. There is no right or wrong answer, as both yes and no will create the necessary space your mind needs to let go of the issue. EXAMPLE: Could you allow yourself to welcome the feeling of being in control of [this issue or person]? Could you allow yourself to welcome the feeling of lacking control of [this issue or person]? EXERCISE: Can you allow (love & accept) yourself to be as controlling as you are? Can you allow (love & accept) yourself to be as accepting as you are? Can you accept yourself as much as you lie? Can you accept yourself as authentic and truthful as you are? Can you allow yourself to resist authority as much as you do? Can you allow yourself to welcome reality and what is as much as you do? Can you allow yourself to be just as black and white as you are? Can you allow yourself to be just as gray as you are? Can you allow yourself to be just as dualistic as you are? Can you allow yourself to be just as one as you are? Can you allow yourself to be just as afraid as you are? Can you allow yourself to be just as peaceful as you are? are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. Its not just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~Marianne Williamson So to answer the original question, we do not need to do anything outwardly to assist humanity to connect, for connection is who we already ARE. First and foremost, it is about connecting and relating intimately in every moment with ourselves, and from this space of deep self connection, we have the ability to connect to others. Like Marianne Williamson said, this freedom automatically liberates others, we do not have to DO anything to liberate them from their old patterns, we ARE liberation. We do not have to do anything to free others, we ARE freedom, we do not have to love others enough, we ARE love, we do not need a marketing genius to get us hits or bring people to us, who we ARE is the magnet to those who need us in any given moment; being the change is ALL there is. To BE these things to people, we must first BE these things to ourselves, and this is where releasing and integration comes into play. It is by integrating our limiting beliefs through addressing the duality of right and wrong, of good and bad, that we create the space necessary to settle into a state of surrender and acceptance. Our progress may be slow to start, but as we continue to clear out the duality surrounding our beliefs, we will begin to see the results that our freedom has on those around us. Then we will be plugged into the universal flow, heading downstream with acceptance and surrender in each momentwe will BE peace, we will BE the change.

person to the phrase to release on your situation, or you can simply use the generic phrasing that I included while thinking about the issue. Tips, Tricks, and Tools of the Trade

I would like to introduce myself before I get started talking about the tips, tricks and tools that I use as a way of connecting to Spirit, staying centered and also protecting throughout the day. I am a psychic/medium with a gift to empower others. I am also a Kundalini Reiki Master and a Usui Reiki Master. I believe in bringing the positive to the forefront for everyone I read for. I started this journey three and a half years ago after a near death incident and have been on a learning experience ever since. I absolutely love what I do and I love the feeling I get when I find that others have picked themselves up and got them moving in the direction toward their dreams. The first tip I would like to give you is to start meditating. It does take practice, it does take determination but the benefits are enormous. I started with guided meditations because I am the type of person whos mind ran 24/7 non-stop and couldnt slow myself down if I wanted to. I found a great website to go to and do guided meditations, www. fragrantheart.com I did these while I sat at the computer, doing housework, or just being still. I found they greatly benefited me through the day with staying calm and not taking all of lifes little imperfections and making them my own. let go and let my mind wander to the things I would like to see come about. I really want to say here go with what works for you. We are all different and have different tastes when it comes to meditation style. I usually like to lie down on the couch if I can and just be very still. Others might like to sit or even walk around while listening to this type of meditation. All I know is that it does work and after awhile you will be able to do it on your own without any guidance. You will find it helps to keep your day going and moving in the right direction, and also a lot less stress during the high points of the day. Meditation is the key is a phrase I have always heard; and now I believe it. I start my day out every day with a meditation be it 5 minutes or an hour doesnt matter as long as you can bring yourself back to you. There are so many benefits to meditation; it helps reduce your blood pressure, helps with anxiety or panic attacks, helps to stop the mind from racing, and also helps with bringing you back to the Source with being able to speak to your guides, angels or deceased loved ones. The information gathered during a meditation might be a bright idea you have, like a light bulb going off, a phrase that just might make total sense to you running across your head as you are sitting there, a person, place or thing showing up, a past life recall might also occur. You might feel heat, cold, or even colors letting you know what to expect or things to come. The benefits of meditation are endless. I am sure you have all read numerous articles regarding meditating. I am here to tell you it works. As I said, I was very skeptical about the practice of meditation in my daily schedule because I wasnt seeing the effects right away but then I started to get serious about it and made myself do it everyday. Now, I cant go a day without starting my day with a meditation. The second tip I would like to give out is start a journal. You can make this your own by posting things on the cover of the dreams you aspire to attain, affirmations you like, pictures of people you love, or places you have dreamt of going. It doesnt have to be fancy at all. I actually use a five subject notebook or anything I have handy. I started this process right after the near death experience and have found it beneficial in so many ways. I start it out like I am writing to God stating things that I worry about, the joys that I had happen through the day, any dreams I had the night before that I am trying to make sense of, any feelings that came about during that particular day, my fears, my triumphs, my ponderings, are all included on a daily basis. Take the time to just write what comes in your head, sometimes this could be a way of the angels letting you know what is coming about. I also carry a pocket sized notebook that I keep in my purse. If I find any inspiration during the day I write it in my pocket journal and transfer it to the nightly journal I keep. writing things down. This helps you keep track of the progress you have made, and eventually you will see that things you have written in there in the way of hopes and dreams do come about. The written word definitely holds a lot of power. It is a great way of releasing built up energy or helping you put that dream out there. Just like our thoughts are energy, so is the written word. Dont worry if the spelling is wrong, the grammar is not right, or what you are saying doesnt make any sense to anyone else. Its all about you and what you are feeling at that particular time in your life. You want to get angry, write it out and all the reasons why you think it is unfair. Are you holding onto pent up emotions that you dont want to share with anyone else? Write it out!!! You have a victory of personal gain that you feel good about. Write it out!!!! Do you have a poem or a saying that has been running in your head all day and you just cant seem to get it out of your system? Again, write it out!!!! Things will start to fall into place as you release those emotions of joy, sadness, depression, anxiety, happiness and peace. You will look back one day on what you have written and see how far you have come on your journey to bringing back the real you. A couple of ideas for the journal that I like to use are writing out some things to be thankful for that happened during the day. Some are the dreams I have had for my future and for others alike. that have struck me during the day. When you can look at the day as a whole and then break it down it becomes easier to remember what the feelings were at that time, what your thoughts were and what you were doing when it all happened. If something sticks out to you that continues to show up on a daily basis, write it out. You will find it is usually a sign of something you should be watching for, or a warning of things to come, that way the next time it happens you will already know what to expect and what is coming your way.
Journaling is also a form of therapy that is used widely. It helps stimulate the imagination, the writing process of thoughts forming in your head, the emotions that need to be let out, and the feelings that need to be dealt with so you can move on toward your true path of enlightenment. Spirituality A Practical Experiment
In last months issue I wrote about how you can discover your own past lives in meditation. I will recount the following tale as an example of just how easy it can be to do this. Recently I was asked to give a talk on Reincarnation in a Spiritualist church. It went very well; I was asked many questions, and a lot of material was given in answers to these. Despite having overrun my time, the group wanted an experiment. In the end it meant extending the talk for a full hour and a half. It was worth it. The group had only a dozen or so members, experienced psychics, including the church president. I was able to invite them into meditation with only a minimal instruction find the past life in which you last met someone else now in this room. The meditation was a short one, 10 minutes, with20 minutes planned for feedback. The aim was simply to show there were hidden relationships behind the superficially random accident that they were all members of the same church. I had no prior knowledge of any past-life connection between any of the group members. Very well, members of my audience were accustomed to meditating and certainly believed in the existence of Spirit, but they didnt necessarily believe in reincarnation. Im inclined to think, however, the cause of the results we got was, after only just having discussed it, everyone was now willing to believe they had experienced past lives and were enthusiastic to remember them. As I moved round the group, asking each member for their impressions in meditation, one after another pointed to other group members, recounting scenes in which both took part. Only one person was unable to report any past-life experience and a number reported past-life scenes but could not identify any other group members. I think everyone present regarded these results as extraordinary; a group of people with a common interest in Spiritualism but otherwise with no obvious connection between them had, at least in a significant number of cases, not only shared past lives but actually recognized this sharing when asked. This simple fact suggests that group reincarnation is far, far, far more common than might have been thought, and that seemingly unconnected people are drawn to come together in groups of souls who The Paranormal Explorer 86
have shared past lives. It suggests that our decisions, to go and live in, say, Coventry or Belfast and our decision to go to, say, a Spiritualist church, are far less made by our conscious minds and far more driven by our unconscious spirit than we realize. Its also worth making it clear that the evidence is against reincarnation in the same biological family, very often its against reincarnation in the same culture (at least, too often). Now, you might superficially think it surprising that we have shared past lives with people we know only casually today, but I would not have conducted the experiment without some slight inkling as to what wed find. Of course, the question arises; were the reported connections made by my audience genuine, or were they imaginary? Of course, in an experiment lasting only ten minutes it is very unlikely you would get evidence which would stand up to scientific criticism. To be honest the results surprised even me, and I am convinced the people sharing their experiences did so honestly, their surprise showing the honesty of their belief. If you are inclined to think there was a conscious wish to find past life connections, can I say the conscious mind is far more likely to be a hindrance than a help forced agreement or invention stands out like a sore thumb. As an example of how the conscious mind can interfere, let me give this little anecdote: with such a circle it is not unusual for the leader to link-in mentally, a form of psychism if you like, with what the other members are doing, one member had told me his family name was McDonald, and as I linked-in I saw him as a highlander in a kilt. What he reported was being a samurai, and the kilt was a leather skirt forming part of his armor. As I linked with another group member I found a sea captain in the 13th century, I had been a passenger on his ship, which had been bound from the continent to London. Severe storms blew us to the north and we made landfall in Scotland, I remember the captains extreme embarrassment at having failed to get us to London, for all hed saved the lives of everyone on the ship. I already knew of this life because the detour gave chance for the development of a relationship, one which through differences of social standing would not have been allowed, between me and another passenger, a relationship which would be worked out in later lives.
Reincarnation, The Secrets of Past Lives

Counting that last episode, the meditation produced 4 sets of images which both parties could acknowledge. No, none of it is proof of reincarnation, or group reincarnation; all the same, these results are well worth bringing to your attention. The feedback took getting on for an hour, and I was invited back for another occasion. Do you feel there is too much disconnection within society? Do you feel one of the prices of our materially advanced, developed society is personal isolation? I see this all the time, its a reason I took training as a counselor. At least for me, this experiment was heartening; it shows we arent as isolated as we might think. Let me give you the following thought as the final point of this article, it took just a ten minute meditation to introduce all but one of a dozen people to their past lives. These lives were only glimpsed, to be sure, but that anything could be discovered in ten minutes is remarkable. Think what you may do with persistence! I know this to be a fact, my own first
awareness of past lives was accidental, but after that, although it took persistence through repeated meditations, the full story of a past life became revealed. Whats more, with practice it becomes even easier to do. As with all experiments, look for the facts and check them, be willing to admit it if what you imagine of a past life proves wrong. Meditation is not a license to drift into lazy and dishonest daydreams; it is a doorway and an invitation to become a Paranormal Explorer. The Beach Angel This all started on a balmy April afternoon on a beach where the breeze was blowing so hard. I was sitting there in my car after just after having a near death experience a week before and trying to understand what I was going through. There I was reading John Hollands Power of the Soul in my car, with the book lying on my steering wheel with the window slightly ajar so I could feel the breeze. I loved being by the ocean as I always found peace and strength there. There were no other cars near me in the parking lot as it was a chilly day. Along comes this car with a woman in it. She parks right beside me. I look up from the book and noticed she was going around to the back of her car to get her sneakers and windbreaker from her trunk. I started reading again, not paying attention to her putting on her gear to take a balmy walk along the beachs walking path. As I start reading, I hear a voice saying to me, Thats a good book youre reading. I looked up and the woman is standing there between both of our cars. I was startled a bit because I wasnt expecting her to speak to me. There stood this woman, middle aged, smartly dressed and just looking at me with the bluest eyes I have ever seen. I told her that I was just learning to read tarot and I loved John Hollands book because I was an avid reader and loved to learn. She smiled at me and said, I will be getting a reading from you one day and I am going to read the book you write also. She looked to me like a business woman, very expensively dressed and hair all done up. Never in a million years could I see her sitting down for a tarot reading. What really perplexed me even further is her stating she would be reading my book. I had never once thought of writing a book at all. This was all brand new to me. I was just learning as much as I could regarding what was happening to me as my mentor, Allison Hayes, had taught me to read whatever felt right and go with it, so I was doing just that. I noticed as the lady returned from her walk and went to her car. I watched her as she put her sneakers back in the trunk with her windbreaker. She then proceeded to get in her car without even looking my way, wishing me a nice day, or saying nice meeting you. My name is Kristen Leona and I am a psychic medium. One of my specialties is reading photographs. What that means is that I can receive psychic information regarding the subject, and can connect with someone who has passed on through their photographs. The photos that I use for readings can be either actual photographs or digital ones on my laptop. While I study the photos, I take notes of any information that I receive. When the reading is finished, I type up my notes and answer any questions that were asked and send them to the person requesting the reading. The subject of my photo reading for this months column is Brian. Four photos were chosen and no questions were asked.
From this photo, I can tell that he is beginning to feel content where his life is going - things seem to be coming together or falling into place. He can sometimes feel unsure, but those feelings are less and less frequent. He has felt let down by life and its circumstances. He is more sensitive than he would like people to know. He is a very loyal man. Brian has some walls up from previous hurts. Brian has a great sense of duty and respect. There is a feeling of mourning, a heavy heart. He feels anger over disrespect. He is proud to serve and while he feels unsure about some aspects of his life - country and duty are the cornerstone. He feels a brotherhood with others who have served. I was a firefighter for ten years and was a 9-11 volunteer. I have three daughters and love my Harley-Davidson. I just started my own motorcycle repair business after a long time of waiting for the right time. I had several friends read it without telling them what it was...they all said it was very accurate. Then I told them what it was and they were amazed ...great job! I want to do it again!
From reading this photograph, I can tell that Brian is very helpful - he will give someone the shirt off of his back. He is somewhat frustrated where life has taken him. He loves to have a good time - he works hard and plays hard. He is somewhat unsure about the spiritual aspects of things, but is open with his thinking. He LOVES being a father. Brian feels kind of knocked around by love relationships in his life. He is very good with his hands and putting things together. He is a very smart man, and is a genuine stand up guy. Some things from his past haunt him - Im seeing images of death, I smell smoke and flesh, I see rubble and debris, the air is heavy with particles, I hear loud noises - radios, people screaming, dogs howling.... Hes thinking, Will I see my girls again?
By studying this photo, I can tell that Brian has a goofy sense of humor that some may view as not politically correct. He is good at organizing - charity events and helping other people. He is very proud, but sometimes feels damaged. He is beginning to feel content with his current employment. He feels haunted.

During our lifetime, we have angels and spirit guides who assist us during our life lessons, but they will never make decisions for us. They will, however, lead us to enlightenment so that we can make our own wise choices. Our dreams are just one method of showing our true inner feelings surrounding a situation. Once we can learn to understand the symbols given during our dream time, we can then begin to work with those symbols to obtain the message within the dream to assist us in our day-to-day life. I have had two dreams that have puzzled me. The first I had several years ago, but it was so vivid that I cant forget it: I was a man and a soldier in the Civil War. (Mind you. I know very little about the Civil War. I am very much a pacifist and hate guns.) I could feel my scratchy gray woolen uniform against my skin. I was walking across a grassy field with trees off at a distance. All at once, someone yelled loudly Look out Daniel Braxton!!!!! And I was suddenly shot in the middle of my chest. I could feel the warm blood soaking my uniform and knew I was dying. Then I saw a calendar that said May 23, 1863. Then I woke up. I thought it was strange for a dream to be so detailed. I was curious, so I did some searching to see if there was anybody by that name in the Civil War. I never found anyone by that name, but I found a general named Braxton Bragg. My maiden surname is Bragg. I know very little about that side of my family. The second strange dream was recently: I was in a living room with an old man. I thought he was Greek for some reason. He had a large orange goldfish in a fishbowl on a table. I asked him what did he call his pet fish. He told me Pogy. Then I woke up. I thought that Pogy was a funny name, never heard that one before. So I looked it up in the dictionary. It said that pogy is an Algonquian word for sea fish! I didnt know what Algonquian was either, so I had to look that up
also. Algonquians were a group of Native American Indian tribes. I read that Algonquians found great significance in dreams! My uncle told me that my great-great grandmother was Native American. But I have no way of knowing if that is true. Anyway, any thoughts? The first dream you shared is definately one of a past life memory when you were a soldier of the confederate army. Although the name you heard, Daniel Braxton and the date you saw on the calendar is really of no significance to you in this life, it is a great demonstration that our subconscious mind does indeed store all information about our life experiences. What interested me in this dream is why you would recall this memory and how this memory is affecting you today, or as you mentioned several years ago. It is likely that during the time of this dream that perhaps you were struggling with a battle of sorts, either with others or with your inner self. It is no surprise that in this life you do not like guns, and I would bet that you also tend to avoid disagreements. Our past life memories tend to come forward to assist us with the lessons we gained from them that would be helpful in this life time. Then again, it could also be a part of closure from that lifetime that you have chosen to work through during this time of clearing out of old baggage as we evolve to higher vibrations. Your second dream was quite intriguing. Looking at the symbols, you mentioned that you were in the living room. The living room is symbolic of how you interract with others on a day-to-day basis. The orange goldfish is very important. The color orange, a blend of yellow and red, represents a blending of peace and love. The gold color of the fish symbolizes divine inspiration, inner treasure, and the
light of christ. The fish brings to you a reminder for a need for meditation, going within for guidance or inspiration. In addition, in the use of Feng Shui, the gold fish is used to enhance prosperity and good fortune. I feel that the most interesting name of the fish, Pogy is a message to you to pay attention to your dreams for they will be your guide for the answers your seek. Then several days later it contracts again moving all of his emotional blocks to the surface. He then has to relive emotional issues he thought he had buried so he resents you for this. The 8 of wands; BINGO! This card is success for the business. It signifies promotion, good news our man can be seen firmly shaking the hand of a new associate. He has brought in someone new to help with the workload or maybe he has signed another deal with a company that can help. You have to trust other people to move up in the business world.
The 6 of wands - Hooray! The orders are coming back in thick and fast business is back to normal the orders are coming in and success is depicted with this card. That local advertisement you put in the paper really worked and reminded all the locals that you are very much here!
The 9 of wands means stress, burdens, too much on our plate. The picture shows our man getting rather hot under the collar and we can see a calendar in the background. This tells me that he has deadlines to achieve and he is not sure if he is going to run out of time. He really is pushing himself to the limit in this card. The stress levels are at an all time high. With the success of the 6 wands and the taking on of a new associate in the 8 wands the orders are flying in yet he cannot take the pressure.

The 10 of wands! Oh no! He has hit boiling point. Our man can be seen throwing all his paperwork up in the air giving up in a total meltdown. He has taken on far too much and is too tried to deal with everything himself. When we get to this card it tells us that for the sake of our health, we need to deal with one problem at a time. As summer draws to a close and fall speeds up behind us we take a look around to see the changing colors and feel the coolness of the air surrounding us. Those of us who have gardens look forward to the time to harvest all the good things that have grown over the past few months. For me, I LOVE mint along with everything else I plant except for the ugly slugs that tend to move into my garden like its their summer home. By the way, a great way to rid your garden of slugs/snails is to take a plastic cup and bury it to the brim in the soil and fill it about to way full with the cheapest, nastiest beer you can buy. In the front of my home we have Spearmint and Peppermint plants so that when the breeze blows and we have the windows open the calming, comforting scent flows through the house. Peppermint or otherwise known as Mentha Piperita is a commonly used herb and one of my absolute favorites. A native plant of Europe, the herb Peppermint is known for its medicinal uses and is actually a hybrid of watermint and spearmint. There are many other kinds of mint you can grow such as pineapple mint, chocolate mint and apple mint. Peppermint has so many benefits and has been used for centuries

The health benefits of peppermint oil include: Indigestion: Peppermint oil is very helpful in digestion. Often people put a few drops of peppermint oil in a glass of water and drink it after their meal due to its digestive properties. It is carminative and therefore helps in removing gas. Peppermint oil is a good tonic for those who have a low appetite. It also helps
during motion sickness and upset stomach. Preliminary research has proved that peppermint oil in the combination of caraway oil can be used for treating heartburns. Dental Care: Peppermint oil, due to its antiseptic properties, is useful for dental care. It removes bad breath and helps teeth and gums deal with germs. No wonder, it is added in numerous toothpastes. It is also useful for treating toothaches. Respiratory Problems: Menthol, which is present in abundance in peppermint oil, helps in clearing the respiratory tract. It is an effective expectorant and therefore provides instantaneous, though temporary, relief in numerous respiratory problems including nasal congestion, sinusitis, asthma, bronchitis, cold and cough. As a result, it is used in numerous cold rubs. When these cold rubs are rubbed on the chest, they remove nasal and respiratory congestion immediately. Nausea and Headache: Peppermint oil is a good home remedy for nausea and headache. Applying peppermint oil in diluted form on the forehead is known to remove headache. Stress: Like most other essential oils, peppermint is able to provide relief from stress, depression and mental exhaustion due to its refreshing nature. It is also effective against anxiety and restlessness. Irritable Bowel Syndrome: The muscle relaxing property of peppermint oil has been found to ease irritable bowel syndrome. This has been validated through preliminary scientific research though the
exact mechanism is still unknown. Antispasmodic: Peppermint oil is very effective for gastroscopy, colonoscopy and during doublecontrast barium enema. It is applied intraluminally. Further benefits of peppermint oil due to its antispasmodic properties are being studied. Urinary Tract Infection: Peppermint oil can be used for treating urinary tract infection (UTI). However, thorough scientific studies are yet to be conducted to confirm this. Pain Relief: Peppermint oil can be used externally for providing relief from pain. It is believed that the presence of calcium antagonism in peppermint oil aids in removing pain. It is cooling in nature and therefore helps reduce fever. Immune System: Peppermint oil increases your immunity to diseases and therefore helps you in preventing a number of diseases. Blood Circulation: It also improves blood circulation. Hair Care: Peppermint oil is very useful for hair care as it gives a cooling effect to the head, and removes dandruff and lice. Skin Care: Peppermint oil contains Menthol, which is good for skin. It gives a cooling effect. Further it nourishes dull skin and improves oily skin.
