A. TEST PROCEDURE AND CHECKLIST With the unit Correctly connected to the water sources and valve(s) closed, visually check the piping connections for leaks (ANSI Para 4.6.5.1) Open the valve to the full open position. The valves shall remain open without requiring further use of the operator's hand (ANSI 4.6.5.2) Measure The face of the shower head from the surface on which the user stands. (ANSI 4.6.5.3) (Applicable to Emergency showers only) With the valve in the " full on" position, measure the diameter of the sprays pattern. CONCLUSIONS ITEM No. D1 TEST RESULTS ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA The face of the shower head from the surface on which the user stands is between 208.3 cm (82 inches) and 243.8 cm (96 inches) (ANSI 4.6.5.3) Note: Applicable to Emergency showers only With the valve in the " full on" position, measured diameter of the sprays pattern is a minimum of 50.8 cm (20 inch) at 152.4 cm (60 inch) above the standing surface. The center of the spray shall be at least 40.6 cm (16 inches) from any obstruction. (ANSI 4.6.5.4) (Applicable to emergency showers only) Measured water temperature is between 15C (min) and 38C (max) Test results are acceptable and in accordance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and contractural requirements.
