CLOSER TO EVERLASTING GLORY WITH EACH PASSING YEAR
Another year is gone and another year has come. A milestone that tells us we are brought by another year closer to the full consummation of our redemption into the fullness of glory with Jesus Christ our Lord at His coming again. Paul, the Apostle said: "Now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed, the night is far spent and the day is at hand" - Romans 13:11-12. In view of this reality, we are called to awaken from spiritual slumber. Not engaging in any form of sin, nor be enslaved to lustful passions for these are of darkness, but we are to be true followers of Christ who is the Light. "For you are all sons of Light and sons of Day. We are not of night nor of darkness, so let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober" - 1 Thessalonians 5:5-6.
