Ludhiana milk union spends approx. 6,77,200 on casual labor per month. METHOD OF WAGE PAYMENT The Ludhiana milk plant follows the time wage system. The advantages of this system are: 1. The wages are paid on the basis of time spend on job.

Time wage system is the simplest and oldest method. It is easy to understand and workers can easily compute their own remuneration.

Casual employees:Casual employees is a person whose employment is of casual nature. It means an employees who is not allowed to work for an organization for more than 240 days.
