REPORT COMMUNITY SERVICE KG.RITUH LABUAN, SERIAN SARAWAK.

On 2nd October, 2010, we are going to Kampung Rituh Labuan, Serian Sarawak. We assembled at Car park A, UiTM Samarahan at 6.30 am, and we started our journey to Kampung Rituh Labuan at 7.00 am. We arrived at Kampung Rituh Labuan at 8.30 am. 42 student and 2 lecturers participated in that community services. We are divided into 5 groups, and I am in grass cutting groups. In my groups, there are 10 members in our group. We started our worked at 9.30 am. The villager also helped us in doing our task there. Even though, we are already divided into a group, but we still helped the others group in their work, here, Ive learned that cooperation in the group is important, our work will not complete if the villager does not helped us. One thing that I realized from our community is we have to respect people, their belief, their way of life and more this is because, people who live in the rural area, their way of life is totally different from people who live in urban area. From this community services also taught me to be better person, and good daughter, I said so, because while we do our work, served the villager and VIP during lunched, I saw a mother and daughter sit together, what I touched so much, when her mother give the daughter her food, because she afraid the food is not enough to all people in the hall, that I see the bonding between the mother and the daughter make me miss my mum, and I promised to myself Ill be a better human being. This community services also taught me to be more perseverance. I am not good in cutting the grass, because I dont use to it. Even I dont know how to cut the doing it, until my work complete. To conclude, this community service helped me to improve my skill to communicate, as a leader, and how to be a good treasury and good in financing money. REPORT SEMINAR DEWAN KULIAH 1, UITM SAMARAHAN On 3rd October, 2010, we attained a seminar title, Developing a Greater You, by Jackson Ng, from Mastermind Training International. The seminar was organized by student from BBA Marketing. This seminar take about 10 hours talked, from 9.00 am until 6.00 am. The first session of this seminar talked about the rules of the game, in this session, the speaker told us about how to mix with other during participate in games, he said that the only failures is the failure to participate, I think that quotes is so meaningful because, without participating, we doesnt know what our ability in the games. The speaker also encouraged us to asked question, so he can identified that there are two way communication among us, and when we asked, he know that we are focus with him. After that the speaker organized one fun game, which is Bingo games, where, all of us must asked people to sign all the 25 square that fill with the characteristic of people. In these games, I only get 18 marks out of 25. The moral of this games is, even all the square a signed, but we still cannot identified the signature, means that we dont really know our member. This seminar also taught us how to be a smart student, and encouraged us to be extra 1% student. He also mention about changing mindset student nowadays. After lunched, the speaker once again organized games, names, sticker games, now we have to collect a different color sticker that had different value, the orange sticker has the highest value, our groups get the second place in these games, even though we thought we supposed to be the winner, because our groups collect many of orange sticker. This game taught us, we must focus only to the important thing only, we must do important tasked, and we must set our priority. To conclude, this seminar so effective to increase someone self esteem, and confidence to attain their goals. The limit is the sky, no pain no gain. Prepared by:
