Deep Parotid most of the parotid gland
Group-1 embedded within the Parotid nasal cavity, nasopharynx

Group-2: beneath the Parotid, posterior palate
on lateral surface of pharynx middle ear

Maxillary Group several small infraorbital region

Buccal Group 1+ on top of Buccinator
Mandibular Group several small outer Md, in front of Masseter

Deep Facial inner surface of Md, TMJ

AKA = Internal Maxillary on top of Lateral Pterygoid temporal fossa
infratemporal fossa

Lingual 2 to 3 on top of Hyoglossus a substation for lingual vessels Jugulo-Omohyoid Node

Buccopharyngeal Fascia, nasal cavity


Retropharyngeal 1 to 3 superior deep cervical nodes
beind the upper pharynx nasopharynx
Eustachian Tube

in the Submandibular Triangle, all Mx teeth, Md posterior teeth 1. superficial cervical nodes
Submandibular 3 to 6
on top of Submandibular Gland Superficial Facial Nodes 2. superior deep cervical nodes
largest sits on top of Facial Artery Submental Nodes 3. Jugulo-Omohyoid Node
Anterior Cervical
Superficial Group skin of the anterior neck
below Hyoid Bone,
Jugulo-Omohyoid Node
Deep Group in front of larynx, trachea, thyroid
Pre-laryngeal lower larynx, trachea, thyroid
Pre-tracheal

along the External Jugular Vein, lower ear


Superficial Cervical superior deep cervical nodes
on top of Sternocledimastoid skin over parotid

Deep Cervical above Omohyoid Muscle, receives drainage from ALL nodes

Superior Group along the base of the neck EXCEPT Inferior Deep Cervical

Jugulo-digastric largest, most superior of this group

Deep Cervical below Omohyoid Muscle, tongue, tonsils, trachea, esophagus
R&L Lymphatic Trunks
Inferior Group along the level of clavicles superior pectorals, superior liver
Jugulo-omohyoid largest, most inferior of this group Superior Deep & Lingual Nodes
