Water covers 70% of the earth's surface. Water is essential to human life.

But the day of declining water quality and some can no longer be used by humans or aquatic life. Water pollution occurs in bodies of water such as rivers, lakes and sea. Human waste, industrial activity and agricultural activity is the main factor that causes the problem of water pollution. Water pollution is increasingly widespread as a result of human action has caused many negative effects arising from the human and aquatic life. Water pollution occurs as a result of accumulated waste and toxins from factories. For example, in Sabah plants found in the village quarry Manggaris cause was polluted river near the river Manggaris. Even the river into the polluted rivers in Malaysia. So, water pollution is not only the aquatic life of the dead but the people who swallowed the source of the river have suffered food poisoning. First, human waste disposal in water bodies has led to increased water pollution. Disposal of human waste consisting of garbage and sewage into the water causing the water will be contaminated. The decay of organic waste in the water by decomposer organisms will lead to reduced oxygen content in water. This will affect the lives of all creatures in the water like fish, shrimp, and so forth. Disposal of human waste into the water the water is usually done by people who live near bodies of water such as rivers, lakes and sea. They will do it as an easy way to dispose of waste. However, human action to dispose of waste in water bodies cause the opposite effect of water pollution. For example, the human settlements along the river have caused much human waste in the river embankment. This increased water pollution. Second, the pace of development in the activities or industrial activities have produced a variety of toxins that can contribute to water pollution. Often, the factories will be built near bodies of water. This is because when the factories to process raw materials into more valuable or useful, it will produce toxic waste that can be called the cause of water pollution occurs. This pollution occurs when harmful toxic substances from factories is not filtered. Then, a toxic substance will be discharged into drains, ditches next to the river, lake or sea. For example, palm oil mills to make cooking oil will produce a toxic water pollutant. Toxic is then diverted into the ditch and then into rivers. It causes toxic content produced by factories in the body of water is high making the water murky and polluted. Third, agricultural activities to produce a liquid chemical that can cause water pollution. To meet the demand for foodstuffs such as rice, vegetables and fruits that are higher, the research and development has been done to improve the quality and quantity of agricultural products. Thus, the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has increased for the purpose of improving agricultural productivity. The use of chemical fertilizers to increase agricultural yields and pesticides to control crop pests has led to other effects of water pollution. This occurs when rain falls from the sky and the earth's surface will flow to transport the waste chemical fertilizers and pesticides from agricultural areas into water bodies like rivers. The chemical composition of fertilizers and pesticides in the water causing a lot of aquatic life will die as a result of the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in agriculture.

In conclusion, human waste, industrial activity and agricultural activity is the factor that causes water pollution regulations. And all this is done by humans. Therefore, we must take to overcome the effective and continuous effort to ensure the sustainability of our water and for generations to come.
