The Lake of Fire Revealed In Old Testament

R____ wrote:
Mike,

Hope all is well with you.

Had some revelation today about vessels in scripture. We went out to dinner this evening with my mom,
and she was wondering why some people are so nosy (long story). So I told her God makes some
vessels of honor and some of dishonor. We have all been on the receiving and the giving end. Then after
dropping her off at her house, driving back to our home I started thinking about the vessels in Leviticus
which had an unclean animal that died in them had to be broken. We are that vessel that has to be
broken because we have these unclean animals (false doctrines) that bring death in us. Lev 11:33. So
God breaks us and makes us anew. We are clay in the Potter's hand.

I am really learning from the new study on colors. I really appreciate it!

Hi R____,

Thanks for sharing the things of the spirit which God is showing you. It is such a blessing to be
able to receive from others of the bounty God has given them.

Reading what you point out about the vessel being polluted by a dead body and then having to be
destroyed and made anew, reminds me of the WCG observance of the second passover in the
second month.

As you might recall, the law of Moses made provision for those who had become polluted by a
dead body and were unable to partake of the passover at the appointed time to take the passover
one month later:
Num 9:6 And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they
could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that
day:
Num 9:7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore
are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season
among the children of Israel?
Num 9:8 And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will
command concerning you.
Num 9:9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Num 9:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall
be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover
unto the LORD.
Num 9:11 The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, [and] eat it with
unleavened bread and bitter [herbs].
"We are defiled by the dead body of a man, wherefore we are kept back" are the words of all who
are not in the first resurrection. These will be " kept back" and will not be permitted to take part
in that blessed and holy first resurrection. All who are not in that blessed and holy first
resurrection are unclean by reason of a dead body or are "in a journey afar off" from God and His
tabernacle. In other words, the second passover is nothing less than the second resurrection.
There are only two resurrections; one precedes the millennium and the other succeeds the
millennium:
Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and
a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and
bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he
should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he
must be loosed a little season.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I
saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and
which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon
their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is]
the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign
with him a thousand years.
Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth
and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev 20:12 And I saw the
dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up
the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
I am so pleased that you are being edified by the study on colors in scripture.
