If Acrobat Reader is already installed or is meant to be installed in a different path, You must adapt the storage location in the FISCHER.INI file (in Your Windows directory). Customize the parameter 'PathAcrobat' accordingly. The default entry is set to: PathAcrobat=C:\Acrobat3\Reader\AcroRd32.exe 2 CompuFix To communicate to the software CompuFix the electronic catalogue needs the path to call the CompuFix.exe. This path has to be stored in the file FISCHER.INI. For example as follows: PathWF=c:\romfisch\compufix\compufix.exe 3 Video To watch the image show including the contained video clips VIDEO FOR WINDOWS must be installed at Your pc. For Your convenience an icon for starting the installation procedure of VIDEO FOR WINDOWS is saved in the fischer catalogue program group. 4 Fonts The catalogue uses the font Arial.

Please assure, that the font Arial (standard font of Windows) is installed in Your system. 5 Customizing catalogue setup The catalogue is controled by the file 'FISCHER.INI' in the 'Windows' directory. To customize the catalogue please adapt the path entries. External programs must reside in the designated paths. These paths are: -PathAcrobat (Adobe Acrobat Reader) -PathBrowser (Your installed Internet browser) -PathWF (design program COMPUFIX) -PathImg (fischer image show) The catalogue shows data from the following locations: -PathDB (database, prices, exception data) -PathUsr (order list, notes, product basket) -PathBase (directory which holds pictures, documents) -InOutPut (home directory for service locations and tips & tricks) The catalogue starts its program from the directory: -PathHome Changing these entries means, that all data residing in those paths must be moved accordingly. This way the catalogue can be used in nearly all conceivable constellations.
