Whether you can only attend one night, or all of them, everyone is welcome to attend! Here is background information on the Franciscans that will be conducting the Retreat:

Fr. John Anglin was born and raised in Boston, MA where he entered the friars after graduating from high school. He was ordained in 1971 and obtained a Masters in Religious Education from Catholic University of America in 1974. Also, in 1992 he received a certificate in homiletics from the Aquinas Institute in St. Louis. Since ordination Fr. John has served in various ministries including high school teaching, parish ministry, the formation of candidates to the friars, marriage encounter and two years as a missionary in Bolivia. John speaks Spanish as well as Italian and has been trained in alcoholism and addictions counseling. WORLD PRIEST DAY

Help us acknowledge the wonderful loving service our priests provide for us as they work in Gods service. Sunday, October 30th is World Priest Day. What might you do to ensure your priest knows your appreciation for all he does for you and his parish? A simple thank you note from you and/or a hand made card from your children via the mail or through your collection basket would certainly brighten his day. Sharing the gift of your time with him is even better or some chocolate!! His decision, to follow Gods call as a Spouse to His Church, provides us with a path to greater joy on earth and eventual salvation in heaven. Whens the last time you told him you love him? Dont allow October 30th to pass by without your priest knowing you appreciate the good he provides to you.

SECOND COLLECTION
During the offertory we will have 2 collections. The 1st is for your regular stewardship contribution for St. Andrew. The Ushers will then pass the basket a second time for Mission Sunday.
