Brief meaning of the 1000 Holy Names
The meaning of the thousand holy names given in this book, is based on the glorius commentary, Bhagavad Guna Darpana of Sri Parashara Bhatta. Our sincere thanks to Manalur Veeravalli Sri U Ve Ramanujachariar Swamy, Gnyana Bhakti Bhushana Sri U Ve Satyamurthy Iyengar Swamy, Dr Sri U Ve V V Ramanujam Swamy, whose books on Sri Vishnu Sahasra Nama were of immense help in compiling this work. We also thank Smt. Rekha for her timely help in translating the tamil version of this book to English. We do not find words to express our gratitude to Sri Rajan of RNR Printers, without whose untiring efforts this service of publishing the calendar and this book in large numbers within a short time would not have been possible. Two MP3 cds containing 160 hours of Tamil discourses by Velukkudi Sri U Ve Krishnan Swamy, are given along with this book and the calendar. As these discourses were recorded live about 7 years ago, the quality may not be the best, kindly bear with us.
