Aberration of Quraan in our national anthem


May I respectfully invite your attention to the fact that khudaa, parwardigaar, namaaz, roza and mehar are the terms of Zoroastrian faith and have nothing to do with Islaam. For more than 1000 years since before Islaam, the Zoroastrians have been worshiping by the names of khudaa and parwardigaar and reading namaaz (namaaz khaandan), keeping roza (roza bardaaran) and the Zoroastrian bridegroom giving mehar at the time of solemnising their wedding ceremony. Furthermore, there is no authority in Quraan for the use of these Zoroastrian terms in place of the Quraanic names of Allaah, Rabb, Salaat, Sawm and Saduq. As these terms are exclusively of the origin of the Zoroastrian faith and from the standpoint of Islaam, Zoroastrianism is kufr. Why and with what authority of Quraan are these zoroastrian kufr names used in Islaam? By what authority of Quraan the Quraanic kalimaat of Allaah, Rabb, salaat, musalli, musalla, sawm, saaim and saduq have been replaced/substituted by the above mentioned zoroastrian kufr kalimaat? If anything, there is in Quraan, a very severe warning against replacing or substituting even one word of 'Ibaadah in Suurah al-Baqarah, aayah 59: translation: But the transgressors changed the word from that which had been given them; so We sent on the transgressors a plague from heaven, for that they infringed (Our command) repeatedly. And in Suurah al-A'araaf, aayah 162, translation: But the transgressors (zaalim) among them changed the word from that which had been given them so we sent on them a plague from heaven. For that they repeatedly transgressed (zulm). That warning in the above quoted aayaat is about changing even one word of 'Ibaada, whereas now in Islaam the whole terms of 'Ibaadah have been changed. Imagine what 'azaab of Allaah can we expect! Allaah has given us Allaah, Rabb, salaat, musallii, musallaa, sawm, saaim and saduq as the words of 'Ibaadah, which we Muslims have changed to Zoroastrian khudaa, parwardigaar, namaaz, namaazi, jaae namaaz, roza, roza daar, mehar. Thus, We have repeatedly transgressed on Allaah, and are duly receiving 'azaab of Allaah for our repeated transgression on Allaah. In the same vein, I want to bring to your attention something that has been troubling me for the last 50 odd years but I came to understand the nature of it at the age of 74: in our national anthem the stanza: Saayae khudaae zuljalaal. The composer, C. Chhaagla, first prepared the music and then Hafeez Jalandhri fitted the words. In doing so he crafted 'saayae khudae zuljalaal', that goes counter to Quraan in so word of sinister meaning to Allaah's mercy is atrocious. Saayah is dependent on light. That means the existence of Allaah's mercy is dependent on another element of His creation. Saayah is of mass, thickness, body. Allaah does not have mass, thickness, body. In Quraan the word Zil has been used several times but only in respect of shadow of something of Allaah's creation. Aayahs 48 and 81, Suurah Annahal illustrate this point. Khudaa is numerous (khudaayaan, khudaaigaan). Alllaah is waahid and ahad. A brutal autocrat is usually called khudaa.. The names "majaazi khudaa" and "naa-khudaa" are prevalent in our society. Allaah cannot be 'majaazi' or 'naa'. Jesus son of khudaa. It is all in collision with Suura al-Akhlaas

1. Saaya is in contradiction of Allaahu nuuru~Ssamaawaati wa~Larz (Suura Nuur, aayah 35). Saayah (shadow) is darkness. 2. Khudaa is in contradiction of wa lillaahi~Lasmaaau~Lhusnaa ( al-a'araaf, aaya 180). Khudaa is not one of asmaaau~Lhusnaa and nor is it wahii (ittabi-u maa uuhiya ilayka min rabbik). 3. Khudaae zuljalaal is in contradiction of bilisaanin 'arabbiyyim mubiin ( Ashsh'u-raaa', aayah195). Khudaa is Faarsi and zuljalaal is 'Arabiyyu~Mmubiin. The intrinsic value of zuljalaal is mubiin, whereas of Faarsis khudaa is not. Therefore, together they cannot give the meaning of Allaah. This amounts to shirk in that Faarsi is being joined with 'Arabi in mubiin, a sifat Allaah Has specified the Arabic language with. As the intrinsic value of 50 pence is different from the intrinsic value of 50 paisa, together they cannot give the denomination of one pound. 4 The Quraanic phrase is rabbika zuljalaal , by changing rabb to khudaa and joining it with the Quraanic zuljalaal, here tehriif in Quraan has taken place. Suurah al-baqarah, aayah 59: Translation: But the transgressors changed the word from that which had been given them; so We sent on the transgressors a plague from heaven, for that they infringed (Our command) repeatedly. 5. Saayaae khudaae zuljalaal, the whole stanza is in contradiction of the whole aayaas: wa yabqaa wajhu rabbika zu~Ljalaali wa~Likraam (Arrahmaan, aayah 27) and Tabaarakasmu rabbika ziljalaali wa~Likraam ( Arrahmaan, aayah 78) saayah against Tabaarak and khudaa against rabb. We do wird or tasbiih of Quraanic aayaahs, words and letters for khayr and barakat and in doing so we duly receive feiz of Quraan in our illnesses, difficulties and problems. But the opposite has happened ever since we have been chanting this aberration of Quraan. As the consequence of this aberration, we in Pakistan have been stumbling from one calamity to another to the point of losing half the country. By substituting Quraan with the non-Quraan, we have incurred 'azaab of Allaah for the aberration of Quraan (al-aaraaf, aayah 162). And this goes on and on. Please, in the name of Allaah, give your urgent attention to this sinister anomaly in our national anthem. On the Quraanic authority presented above, singing "saayae khudaai zuljalaal" is just as much kufr as is the singing of "vandey maateram". This stanza can be transformed, in the same poetic rhythm, with all Quraanic : "Rahmate Rabbe Zuljalaal." This becomes a Quraanic Du-'aa and not a chant of shirk as it is at present. The truth is we cannot get feiz (benevolence) of Quraan from non-Quraan - hamein Quraan kaa feiz ghayre Quraan sey nahiin haasil ho saktaa. By chanting this impious Saayae khudaae zuljalaal, ours has become an extortionate society and the home of common injustice, vicious social inequalities, rampant corruption and unbridled lawlessness. If we intone, do the wird of, all Quraanic Rabbi Ziljalaali waLikraam then ours will, In Shaa Allaah, become the home of mercies of Allaah." Anwar Ahmad Ansari, Harrow, England.
