Abstract1

Healthcare is the industry which can boast of evolving rapidly. This industry has made major impact on the development and growth of our society in Middle East. These revolutionary changes which had come to Healthcare industry can be majorly contributed to use of modern information and communication technology. The use of technology has made healthcare industry to be more competitive and life savior. In this study we are going to study why healthcare industry has evolved so rapidly in the countries of Middle East? Whether it is just the competitive environment which contributed to evolvement of Industry or there is something else working as a major factor? What difference it has really brought to the life of people in Middle East through the use of information and communication Technology? What are the research area which are still being explored or under their pilot test? What is eHealth and what all it includes in its domain? In our study we are planning to cover all above areas to expose some of the nuances of the industry. The study will also explore why most of the international firms in this industry are getting attracted to the Middle East and what all they have to offer as part of their services.

HealthCare Industry is one of the only industries which were growing by leaps and bounds even when the whole world was reeling under the pressure of recession and slowdown. This industry has shown its growth potential through the use of information and communication technology. It has utilized technological innovation like no other industry has ever been able to. Therefore we are going to explore how information and communication technology is playing such a vital role in the growth of the industry. Our study will seek some of the major questions related with the industry which will further explore the industry and nuances related to it.
