CELEBRATE YOUR VICTORIES IN CHRIST Its important for the church; the body of Christ, to take time and celebrate the victories Christ has enabled us to win through his grace and power. We are bombarded by news that is often troubling and confusing. Thats all Satan is allowed to create, confusion. But we, who know God, will experience great satisfaction in the days to come. We have the Daystar living within us. Daystar is a reference to Christ in 2 Peter 1:19. We have the Daystar of direction, the Daystar of purpose and destiny guiding our heart. As the Christ, the anointed one, directs us we may descend into pockets of chaotic situations. That precious soul who waits death unprepared, but we are sent to them to drive away the confusion by leading them to Christ before they enter eternity. Thats one of many ways the disillusioned find the Daystar, Jesus Christ. Lets celebrate the things that God through Jesus Christ is doing through our lives. Dont allow those who have chosen hopelessness to dictate how we respond to opportunities God has placed before us. There are many opportunities for victory that come into our lives daily if we just look for them. In order to be a strong Christian and please God we should be growing in Gods word, prayer, friendship, and generosity. If we stay connected to Jesus (the vine) we can reach maturity in Christ and bear much fruit. And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Luke 2: 52 NIV. If your child is not a part of the Childrens Ministry at Russellville, we invite them to join us at 10:30 a.m. & Creative Kids at 6:00 p.m. on Sundays and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. Please Note: If you have any new or used childrens Bibles that you no longer need. The Childrens Church could use them. See Joe Ward. CONGRATULATIONS
Mackenna Ryan Rigney arrived Tuesday evening at 7:54 p.m., weighing 7 lbs - 13ounces and 20 inches long. We send congratulations to her parents, Heath & Mackinze Rigney & big sister Hayden. We also congratulate Pastor Roger & Barbara Rigney on the birth of their first grandchild.

OUR CONDOLENCES We send our love, sympathy & prayers to Melanie Roberts and her family. Her father, Alvin Cox, passed away on Wednesday after a long battle with cancer. The visitation will be at Mayes Mortuary on Monday from 5:00 7:00 p.m. and the funeral at 7:00. Burial will be on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Economy Cemetery. Please keep Melanie and her family in your prayers.

Please remember the Fall Festival next Sunday, October 30th at 3:00 p.m. There will be hot dogs, hayrides, face painting, caramel apples and more. We will also be having a chili cook-off so prepare your best chili recipe. If youre planning on attending, please bring a dessert or side dish. I will be announcing the location for the festival in the a.m. service today. We hope to see you and your family there. You also might want to bring your lawn chairs.
