Expedition Diary 02/07/820 Cambridge, Cambridge Research Station We've left the docking bay of the Research Institute

today, aboard the Royal Society's exploration vessel, the Sunrise. I'm confident of the team's skill, but I'm a bit worried by the behaviour of some of them. We took the trade lane from Battleship Norfolk to the Omega-3 Jumpgate. We were escorted by two Armed Forces Cruisers and a bomber wing under the command of Commodore Neil, of the 4th Battlegroup. 04/07/820 Omega-3, near Planet Sprague The system of Omega-3 was relatively safe, thanks to the efforts of the Bounty Hunters Guild in keeping at bay the presence of dangerous criminal elements that plague the system. The Sunrise kept a constant cruise speed, our destination was secret, and all our electric or conventional communication devices were confiscated when we embarked. They cut us off from the rest of the world. 05/07/820 Open Space Instead of using the jumpholes, the Sunrise activated its hyperdrive. The speed of the ship was notable. I could see the dust and the various particles pass in front of my window. The blue shift was something that I never experienced. The commander says that we will need to discharge the core when the ship will arrive in a sector that they call Checkpoint-1. 08/07/820 Omega-41, Asteroid Field The Sunrise kept discharging the core for almost a day now, the temperature onboard the ship is normal again. We were starting to sweat, and I felt like I was cooking alive. The panorama outside from the observatory deck was unbelievable. I just saw a Neutron Star, the event of a lifetime. The commander explained us that if the didn't kept a certain distance from the object, we would be caught by its gravity well. 09/07/820 Unknown System, Unknown I don't know where we are. But I'm sure that we left the orange-colored Walker Nebula, I'm very sure of that. I managed to distinguish a green nebula from the bridge window, and I'm sure that our destination lies beyond that nebula, or within it. 05/07/820 Unknown System, Unknown I never saw such a spooky place in my whole life. Strangely shaped asteroids kept bumping in the ship's exterior armor. And sometimes I was afraid that

some of them would crack open our hull. I'm not sure where the government decided to send us, but I'm starting to regret that I've accepted their proposal. 15/08/820 Unknown System, Unknown My diary was confiscated by the Armed Forces presidium onboard the Sunrise, with a blatant excuse. I'll need to avoid to write certain things. Almost a month without writing something. I felt like my brain was going to collapse. 18/08/820 Edge Nebula After having a look on the Royal Society's Archives, I managed to understand which Nebula we are in. We are in the Edge Nebula. A place shrouded in the mistery and in the legend of The Order, a terroristic group formed of exLiberty Navy officials that fled onboard an experimental vessel into the Edge Nebula. They were archived as dead. I noticed that we are in a sort of a safe zone, like a hurricane's eye. I'll have dinner with my staff today. 21/08/820 Edge Nebula Something happened onboard, the Armed Forces staff and the crew are a bit worried about something. But I don't know why. I saw the commander speaking animately with the commander of the military presidium. They mentioned The Order. I'll need to investigate. 24/08/820 Edge Nebula We are in a sort of asteroid field within the Nebula, the asteroids have a high electric charge from what I could notice. They usually discharge on our shield, causing some issues for the maintenance crew. 25/08/820 Edge Nebula Today we saw the first planet within this barren wasteland. A frozen planet that we gave the codename of Xu-32. 27/08/820 Edge Nebula I'm very sure today that I've noticed a large wreck from the observatory deck, but the commander is trying to insist that I probably saw a large asteroid. But I can swear on the Queen's health that I'm sure that it was a wreck, and not an asteroid. 29/08/820 Edge Nebula I wasn't the only one who saw the strangely shaped object, several mess

rumors have spread across the ship, saying that we just passed near the warship on which the group known as the Order fled. What if they weren't dead as many said, what if they were stalking us? I don't like this situation. 31/08/820 I managed to retrive some informations regarding the warship that the Liberty Government built from 798 AS to the Order's escape in the Edge Nebula, dated 799 AS. The sketch from the Liberty Navy's database corresponds to what I saw. The archive had the codename of PROJECT OSIRIS. Differently from how many onboard think, that the Osiris is stalking us, I'm sure that it was inactive and inoperative. And I'm sure that I saw two parts of it, confirming that it was a wreck. I remember that I noticed the engine section cut off from the rest of the ship. However the events turned for that group onboard the Osiris, I hope that they found their final resting place. May god bless them.

07/09/820 We've arrived on destination. A terrestrial type of Planet covered by a sort of tundra, volcano activity is high towards the south pole. The Sunrise is in orbit around the object that we codenamed Xi-76. We've sent sent several probes in its dense atmosphere to collect data on the surface. The planet is undergoing a process, due to the volcanic activity, that we call 'pressure pot' effect.
