BUSINESS CONTROLLER
Vacancy number 11.006 Position You will be responsible for company financial planning and control cycle. Key responsibilities will include the production and review of financial reporting to provide high quality support and critical insight to support achieving the company goals. You will monitor, analyze and report operating results against budget. You will prepare (coordination of) financial analysis of project results, department performance and company performance. For this, you will actively interact with unit managers and project leaders. Also, you will coordinate the annual audit and the preparation of the annual report. Furthermore, you will prepare the financial outlooks and financial forecasts and you will support the annual budgeting process. You are actively involved in applying tax regulations, setting up risk analysis and further development of AO/IC procedures. You will serve as sparring partner for the VP Finance &Control for the financial planning of the business and developing the financial objectives of the organization. You will report to the VP Finance & Control. Your profile You are a candidate with an extensive education in accounting, finance and business. Applicants should have a master's degree in accountancy & control. You have proven business partnering experience in an international working environment. Experience in life sciences is preferred. You have five to ten years of experience in a finance or accounting position of which lately at senior level in a project organization. Candidates should have the ambition to develop towards a more leading role in finance. You are fluent in the English language and your skills in written and verbal communication are at a professional level. Having good interpersonal skills is essential for this job. You have the ability to perform within tight timeframes and are proficient with MS-Office programs and Exact Globe. Candidates should be service-oriented and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively through active discussions and teamwork. Being positive, customer-oriented and having a hands-on attitude is required.
