the authority of abu malik al-harith bin asim al-ashari :the messenger of allah

said: "purity is half of faith. alhamdu-lillah [praise be to allah] fills the

scales, and subhana-allah [how far is allah from every imperfection] and alhamdu-
lillah [praise be to allah] fill that which is between heaven and earth. prayer is
light; charity is a proof; patience is illumination; and the quran is an argument
for or against you. everyone starts his day and is a vendor of his soul, either
freeing it or bringing about its ruin."

narrated by muslim

(purity is half of faith) purity here means the purity of the heart from the bad
diseases , like greed,like envy, like lie, like backbite,like
unfaithfulness,arrogance and so on

alhamdu-lillah [praise be to allah] fills the scales, this means that saying
alhamdulillah, fills the scale of deeds , in the day of here after our deed will
be weighed , the good deeds will be put in a scale and the bad deeds will be on
the other scale, and if the good deeds r heavier than the bad ones so the person
will enter the paradise, so here from this hadeeth we learn that saying
alhamdulillah (praise to allah) fills the scale (scale of good deeds) so we should
keep saying it

subhana-allah [how far is allah from every imperfection] and alhamdu-lillah

[praise be to allah] fill that which is between heaven and earth, means because of
the greatness of those words they fill which is between the heaven and earth

prayer is light::means that its reward is light, persons who do it and acheive
it, thier reward will be light in his face in this life , and light in his heart ,
and light in his grave, and light in the darkness of the day of hereafter

also prayer prevents the persons from falling in sins and guide him or her to the
good deeds

charity is a proof:: charity here means (sadaqah) which is paying money for the
sake of allah, why sadaqah (paying money for the sake of allah is a proof) its a
proof of the being honest in faith , as any one of us loves money and like to have
alot of money and any one likes to increase that money and not to decrease so most
of us dont like to pay, so when we pay this is a proof of being honest in faith

patience is illumination::there r three kinds of patience , patience of doing good

deeds and patience of avoiding doing sins and patience of tests of life

here patience is illumination and not light,,, what is the diference between the
ilumination and light, illumination is light with energy , illumination is like
the sun light , its painfull , this is because patience is hard and its dificult,
its not easy to be patient , so the reward is equal to the dificulty of the deed

the quran is an argument for or against you : here it says that quran will be an
argument for u or against u in the hereafter, and it didnt tell that quran will be
neither an argument for u nor against u, means that quran must be an argument
either for u or against , it must be an argument,if u keep reciting it and taking
care of it and trying to apply its rules it will be for u
if u dont , and u migrate it, it will be against u so we should take care

everyone starts his day : means everyone starts his day to achieve deeds either
good or bad
