JOINT AFFIDAVIT WE, ONGYOD MALENG-AN, DOMANOG LUMENIO, MAXIMO BUMATNONG, AGINDANG BAWA-AN, MAURICIO PANGDA and MARIO APITA, all of legal age, married Filipino citizens and all residents of Tabuk City, Kalinga, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, depose and state: 1- That we personally know the late spouses PALANGEO MATINGNIN and MAB-AN LOYOSAN, the former who died on November 22, 1988 at Tabuk, Kalinga and the latter who died at a later year; 2- That the said Palangeo Matingnin was a widower when he contracted marriage with the said Mab-an Loyosen and out of his first marriage, the former begot a child named CONCEPCION who is married to FRANCIS BENTAYEN and residents of San Vicente Barangay, Baguio City;

3- That in the month of January, 1989, a tribal rite called bakid was performed by the relatives of the said Palangeo Matingnin in Tabuk, Kalinga where pigs were butchered to commemorate his death; 4- That in attendance of the said tribal rite were Mab-an Loyosen, the widow and her young children by a previous marriage and Mr. And Mrs. Francis Bentayen, other relatives and us who were invited to grace the solemn occasion;

5- That during the said rite, one of the matters taken up by the surviving heirs of the late Plangeo Matingnin was the division of the properties which the deceased and his surviving wife acquired during their marriage where the said Mab-an Loyosen brought out the list of properties consisting of parcels of land all located at Solana, Nueva Vizcaya; 6- That after coming to terms, the said heirs agreed to divide among themselves the said properties in the manner as follow: TO MAB-AN LOYOSEN 6.1- The land located at Barrio Manangcad ( Belingon), Solano, Nueva Vizcaya consisting of 7,721 sq, meters; 6.2- The land located at Barrio Silap, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya consisting of 4,687 sq. Meters; 6.3- The land located at Barrio Sinfal, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya consisting of 3, 704 sq. Meters; and 6.4- The house and one-half (1/2) of the land on which it is erected; TO SPOUSES FRANCIS AND CONCEPCION BENTAYEN 6.5- The land located at Barrio Bascaran, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya consisting of 6,863 sq. Meters; 6.6- The land located at Barrio. Sinfal, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya consisting of 3,319 sq. Meters; 6.7- The land located at Barrio Sinfal, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya consisting of 8,500 sq. Meters; and 6.8- One- half (1/2) of the land on which the house is erected;

7- That the said settlement was done peacefully to the complete satisfaction of the parties; 8- That we know the above facts as we were present during the time the settlement was agreed upon and being so, we are witnesses to the same for the purpose of stating the true facts without any material consideration, prize, reward of promise;

9- That we are likewise executing this affidavit for all legal intents and purposes.
