The qualifying cut off marks in B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) is agg. 65% marks but I have secured aggregate 64.95% marks. Am I eligible to apply for Management Trainee Post ? Since the qualifying cut off marks is 65%, candidates with marks less than 65% are not eligible to apply. I have filled the online application form. Where do I send the application form ? You are required to send the completed form with photograph & signature and relevant enclosures to the address specified in the General Instructions of the online advertisement. By which post should I send the application form? You can send the application form by any post (i.e. ordinary post, speed post, courier etc) as per your convenience. However, EIL shall not be responsible for any loss of application form sent, due to wrong postal address/postal delays/loss in transit etc. Can I get last years question paper or Sample Paper? I want to know more about the written test. The examination will be of 2 hours duration and candidates will have to answer 150 questions (multiple choice, objective type). The Written Test will have two parts, viz, 50 questions will be from general aptitude and 100 from the respective discipline. General Aptitude will cover the following: General Awareness covering economics, industry, oil & energy, world affairs, Indian culture, sports etc. English Language proficiency covering Reading comprehension, English language usage and grammar Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning There will be negative marking in the written test. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answered question.

The password will be generated on entering the details. You can then login using the password and your email id. What is the date of written test? The tentative date of written test is 2nd week of October 2011. However, it is liable to change. The confirmed date for written test will be notified on our official website in due course of time. The cut-off % as mentioned on your website is 65% but no cut-off or different cut-off is mentioned on some other website!
