The Civil engineering Executive Organization (CEO) is a
duly recognized academic organization based at the College
of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT),
University of the Philippines, Los Baños (UPLB). With the
vision “seeing the bright future in Civil Engineering”
serving as its members’ drive, the organization aims to
promote academic and professional excellence in all of its
endeavors and develop its members’ potentials to be able to
mold them into socially responsible engineers, contributing
proficiently to community service.
On its 7th year of glorious existence
in the University, the organization,
in cooperation with the Engineering
Science (ES) Department of CEAT-
UPLB will again be conducting the
annual Engineering Science Quiz
Contest. The contest, entitled
“Executives’ Challenge: The
Inter-University Engineering
Science Quiz Contest Year III”
which will held on February 22,
2008 at Magsaysay Hall, Local
Government Academy Training
Center, University of the
Philippines Los Baños is open to all
Colleges and Universities in the
country that have an engineering
 curriculum among the many courses offered in their school. The
contest aims to promote scholastic excellence and competence
through healthy and fair competition and at the same time,
provide a venue for interaction amongst students and teachers
from other school.

In line with this, we would like to ask for your help in making this event a success by
taking part in the aforementioned activity. We are appealing to your generosity and civic-
mindedness and are deeply grateful for all the help that you can extend to us. We have
prepared several sponsorship packages for you to choose from and have also included a
reply form with this letter for your convenience.

1. Company logo/product will be given a Co-Presentor billing on all streamers and
posters to be displayed in key areas around the UPLB campus and surrounding
areas.
2. Company is entitled to a whole-page ad in the newsletter to be distributed on the
day of the activity.
3. Company will be given a Plaque of Sponsorship.
4. Company is entitled to a maximum of 2-minute product advertisement to be
repeatedly flashed on a big screen during the quiz contest proper. (Details to be
included in the advertisement should be submitted to the organization at least two
(2) weeks before the event.)

ceo.org.ph.
6. Company logo/product will be included exclusively in a 3 ft x 6 ft streamer/tarpaulin
together with the logo and title of the activity.
7. Option to set up a product booth at the venue from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Product
lockout.
8. Option to participate at the mini-job fair.
9. Option to send a resource speaker at the job fair symposium to be conducted at the
venue’s seminar room for idle participants, coaches and visitors. The time allotted
for each speaker is 15-30 minutes only.

Major Sponsor

1. Company logo/product will be given Major Sponsor billing on all streamers and
posters to be displayed in key areas around the UPLB campus and surrounding
areas.
2. Company is entitled to a ½-page ad in the newsletter to be distributed on the day

4. Company is entitled to a maximum of 1-minute product advertisement to be
repeatedly flashed on a big screen during the quiz contest proper. (Details to be

repeatedly flashed on a big screen during the quiz contest proper. (Details to be

(2) weeks before the event.)

6. Option to set up a product booth at the venue from 7:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. only.

newsletter.
