There are 1,123 primary, 225 secondary and 68 higher secondary schools in the district With over 2,900 seats, there are 19 ITIs offering several industrial training programs which includes, fitting, armature & motor rewinding and diesel mechanics, etc. 12 pharmacy colleges are present in Anand, with a total intake capacity of 1180 5 engineering colleges offering courses in chemical, civil, electrical, electronic and communication, information technology, production and mechanical engineering are also present in the district Pramukhswami Medical College is the only medical college present in the district with an intake capacity of 100 Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) is one of the five management colleges present in Anand, providing MBA courses Established by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in 1992, National Research Centre for Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (NRCMA) is present in the district Anand Agricultural University and Sardar Patel University are the two universities present in the district

Spread across an area of over 1000 sq. mt., the Flo-Art gallery present in the district includes cottage industry handmade crafts and a variety of household accessories. The advanced pasteurisation process of milk and the production of processed foods can be seen in the Amul Dairy Cooperative Museum in Anand The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Veer Vithalbhai Patel Memorial is present in Karamsad. This includes a library and is surrounded with beautiful gardens for creating a perfect ambience 60 km from Anand, the region of Khambhat is world famous for its textile products such as silk and chintz Established in the 11th Century, the famous Jain temple, Stambhan Parshvanath Jinalaya is present in Anand district Other famous tourist spots in the district are Swaminarayan Mandir, Darbar Ghat, and BD Rao College Museum
