Impact of this record

For a car certified 20 kmpl by certifying authority,

if an individual can get 22.22 kmpl (just 2.22 km more) than their current average, say 20 kmpl, for 100 km run, you are saving half litre (0.5 litre) of fuel,

If an individual save 0.5 litres per lacs of car you are saving 182.5 crores litres of fuel every year.

As per survey in India we have around 40 million cars in India,

so it could have financially gained us approximately 7300 Million USD/3,28,500 Million INR (taking 1USD per litre of fuel)

Impact of this record

Moreover the Emission rate of CO, CO2, NOX will be reduce

drastically favouring Green Environment.

The death toll by road accident will reduce. The Fuel energy is conserved and made available for the next

generation
All Industries are the backbone of India, most of them run on

generators due to unavailability of electric power, if the fuel cost is reduced, India can develop lots of business and make products for low cost and hence poverty due to lifestyle changes reduces.

How to achieve this Individually

I. Maintaining Vehicle RPM about 1500
At an rpm somewhere around 1440, the FE of the Vehicle is

higher and at low rpm (especially idling and driving low speed at top gears) FE is decreasing rapidly. will gain if u come down ( from 2000 rpm to 1500 rpm).

When you switch over to higher rpm also its is reducing but it Driving at this rpm is a different speed (lower side) on petrol

engine, so that while you test in standard condition with the same speed (for petrol and diesel), the FE is less for petrol(due to high rpm, coz of spark plug and fuel property).

That is the basic reason why diesel car are more efficient than

petrol. if u ask me what is the best option to get this mileage is addition of another 1 or 2 gears for petrol.

Pictures showing some car in India Delivering Mileages at an rpm of 1400-1500 rpm Manza 25 kmpl (Average) Benz - 23.25 kmpl (Average) Altis 99.9 kmpl (instant)

II. Maintaining Discipline in Driving as per Road conditions

It is a Known fact in our country that we dont have a good traffic

rules and disciplined drivers.

As my first point says, most of them are not aware of what for

vehicles are fitted with rpm, no driving schools or training centres teaches them about this. is speed in case of other countries.

In India we have road tracks based on size of the vehicle unlike it

A car is a 4-wheeler, it can be a fiat Padmini or a BMW,

imagine first track got scooter on extreme left and lorry on middle and a fiat padmini or car on the extreme right, fiat is driving at 45 kmph (old car nah) and a BMW is behind him, definitely to over take him what he does????, he will overtake through left, thats all its against rule and it may sometime end up in accident.

An individual assault or careless or indiscipline is effecting

others.

No one is patient, No one is following rules means what???.

Yes it is called Traffic Jam/Block or Accident.

A Jam/Block will lead to shifting of gears, idle engine

running etc. which will ruin the concept of maintaining constant rpm of 1500, which in turn gives lower fuel efficiency due to low rpm. compared to highway

This is the general reason why mileages are less in city

Why it is important to save Petrol & Diesel fuel, why not alternative?
Even Ex - President of India Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam says the following
Fuel conservation has only a minor role in Indian Economic

Developments
Since Diesel and Petrol are fossil fuels, it is polluted atmosphere

due to their emissions and its high time to think on alternative fuels like solar, hydro, bio-diesel etc.

Now its My Question

Is it possible to replace all 40 Million cars in India to an

alternative fuel before 2020???

Until unless we dont have an habit of conserving, does

alternative fuel gives a long term solution? market for less than 5 lac??

Does any alternative fuel run can be made available in Indian The emission rate is now higher, still world is surviving, so any

decrease in that should also should be O.K. right?, we are not trying to make it high, we are trying to make it low asap.

Lets have a look at alternative fuel

Hydrogen - of course hydrogen is available from water, but

which are the catalyst?, nickel oxide forming nickel or highly expensive platinum??.. is it practical for a country in which people love to own cars less than 5 lacs?? for cultivating wheat and paddy how much land and cultivation needed to meet these requirement when we dont have an habit of conserving it?? sourced use only for industrial so that they dont have any need for generators and parallel to it only use of electricity reduce their recurring cost and minimize cost of production. It is tough to produce large quantity of current to charge all the 40 million cars day by day hour by hour,

Jetropa ( Bio- Diesel) - Even we are hardly getting agriculturist

Electricity why dont the electricity produced from other

Ethanol due to low calorific value it cannot be used 100%

without petrol mixing, moreover emission wise its not good too.
Nuclear Energy We need to Invest, Do you have our own

money for the same??

Solar what about the sizes of car and it cost and its

output??
Waste - Is petrol and diesel not a waste?? . other than fuel

what all applications can it be used?

Conclusion
No Alternative for Petrol and Diesel is economical, so

conserve them and enhance team work for economic growth of our country

Think on Continuous Improvement before Innovation,

think on present to guide to future before you focus on 2020 or 2030 directly conserve it, maintain it and value it.

Save our Mother earth, it is supplying us natural resources, Simple, It is possibly by the way you drive that values your

life and lifestyle. So Think before you drive.
