1. Job Overview :
1.1.

Objectives
Perform Cementing operations safely and efficiently. Ensure all fluid properties are optimised and rheological balanced. Have good, hard cement, with a hydraulic seal in the open hole to allow the sidetrack Have a good CS for further side track

1.2.

Design Considerations
The well bore fluid will be KCl based mud. The KOP will be run to +/- 3640 m MD/TVD Weighted spacer will be pumped ahead of cement as Spacer for Mud pushing and hole cleaning. Slurry Volume required 59 bbls of 17.0 ppg. Displacement with 198.6 bbls .

Operational Considerations
Good CS required more than formation NO over displaced the slurry to place cement plug on right place Reduce pump rate if we observe losses during job

1.4. Pre job considerations


Ensure that mud weight inside/outside is same and hydrostatics are balanced. Ensure mud rheology is optimized before the job (YP < 15 is recommended) Ensure enough circulation to cool down mud to estimated BHCT (2 bottoms up recommended)

1.5. Post job considerations


Ensure that the cement is set and have gained enough compressive strength.

4. Job Procedure.

RIH to 3640m +/- or until we tag pick up 1m Reduce mud weight to 10.8 ppg. Make sure mud weight inside / outside is same and the hydrostatics are balanced. It is recommended to circulated at least 2 bottom up to ensure mud weight inside/outside is same and well is cooled downed to estimated BHCT. Reduce mud rheology without jeopardizing hole stability (YP < 15 is recommended) Hold a short operation meeting with all Weatherford cementing personnel and the company man to outline action plan, duties and responsibilities. Hold a safety meeting with all personnel on location. Topics of safety meeting will include: brief description of plug operation, hazards, barricades, proper PPE use, and other safety tips. Set up Weatherford data acquisition system for job data recording. Flush line and pressure test the down hole line up to 3,000 psi. Hold for 5 minutes. Bleed off. If pressure test unsuccessful, bleed off line, check unions and pressure test again Batch mix 25.0 bbl of 12.0 ppg Spacer Batch mix 60.0 bbl of 17.0 ppg Slurry Pump 23 bbl spacer ahead of slurry. Pump 59 bbl of cement slurry down hole at 4-5 bpm. Pump 1.5 bbl of spacer behind the cement slurry. Displace with 198.6 bbl of mud at 5 bpm. Slow rate down prior to end of calculated displacement. DO NOT OVERDISPLACE. Cement should be slightly under displaced for about 1.5 bbls. Once displacement is complete, open valve on the rig floor and witness suction effect. POOH 20 m/min and break connections carefully to avoid stripping plug until above the cement plug. Avoid any delays. Reverse circulate twice the string volume make sure there is no cement left in DP Recommended WOC 18-24hr. Rig down Weatherford cementing Equipment.

NOTE: Cement should be slightly under displaced for about 1.5 bbls. Dont over displace. Cement volumes is calculated based on caliper log (11.47in). Displacement volume should be re calculated on rig side before the job according to actual conditions, depths, drill pipe tally and agreed by the C-man.
