Dimsum terakhir is a novel that talking about four twin women who had four different lives, Four future of the confusing and last four secret pursued, as the same way with the constant ticking of age. Siska Yuanita, Indah Pratidina, Rosi Liliani, Novera Kresnawati forced to go home to care their father that had diagnosed without hope of living longer. They never think that it was the opportunity to change everything back together. So many Important questions about life emerged, such as fear, anxiety, and pride that support life and death are just a thin line.

Summary "Dimsum Terakhir" tells a story about four twin women . After waiting their children for thirteen years, eventually Tionghoa family, Nung Atasana and Anas obtained four female twins. The four daughters are: Tan Mei Xia (Siska Yuanita) : super woman of character, beautiful, energetic, smart,

stylish luxury, living workaholic, perfectionist, and somewhat arrogant. Tan Mei Yi (Indah Pratidina) dicipline, reliable. : characterized rigid, perfectionist, by and

Tan Mei Xi (Rosi Liliani) : she was a boyish girl, She always bright cheerful of all time Tan Mei Mei (Novera Kresnawati): The most frail physique among the three other sisters On Imlek New Year, this family has a tradition of eating dimsum in the morning before they do another activities. Dimsum has been produced every year from their handmade of all members of this family. What the most important is not the taste, but togetherness. How they got up early just to make the dimsum, cooperation between family members and the satisfaction gained when eating dimsum made their own. When they were grew up, her mother, Anas, was passed away. So the husbands stay at home alone because his four daughters are spread around to develop their career. In addition, when Nung had a stroke in the hospital, there is only Indah in Jakarta. Then Indah recommend to all sisters to stay in Jakarta while caring for their father together. At the same time, conflict in each Nungs daughter began. Siska left the company in Singapore to care for her father in Jakarta. Shortly after moving to Jakarta, Siskas companies in crisis and the case is pending in the court. But it is not a Big problem. the man who is ever had a

dating with Siska accused her sexual harassment case. In fact, they did it on the basis of compliance with each other. In jakarta Indah works as a novelist and journalist. When Indah must keep his father in the hospital, she also claimed that she cannot able to do that because she want to make the second novel. However, the idea for create the second novel is useless. She spends her time to work as a journalist and spend more time outdoors. Her love story is also quite complicated. Her Interwoven love with a pastur can not run smoothly because of The pastur not allowed to marry. Altough Indah and Anthony had sexual intercourse and caused pregnant. Indahs younger sister, Rosi, boyish-looking, but however she has a feminine side by having Rose plantation in Puncak. Dharma and Roni feel comfort each other. For that their made a relationship in private. Novera, worked as teacher of a kindergarten in Jogja. She was a calm, but she is opinionated woman. She felt that her life is grim, when she learned that he was suffering from malignant cysts in her womb, and must abandon her uterus removed to save their lives. Because she feel doesn't intact, Novera feel inferior to make a relationship with men. In addition, her most recent friend fled because of this issue. So she decided to become a

Catholic, because he thinks religion can achieve enlightenment. She also thought to become a nun. Without her known, one of a student's parents secretly loved her named Raffi. According to Dr. Marcel were drown suffered chronic father caused by diabetes experience. In addition, to pet illness Nung was a rare disease called Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS). This disease is the failure to produce red blood cells in normal filling. MDS syndromes many attacks against seniors. When Siska took care for her father in hospital, Nung asked something uncommon like Novera suddenly brought a man who claimed to be the candidate for her husband, Rosi who is more like women than men, Indah frequently vomit. Siska began to explain the truth about what was happening. Siska admit that Rosi is boyish-girl, but Riska still lied to Nung about pretty girls (Rosis girl friend) who usually stayed up to keep her father. But the father knew that Siska was lying about Rosi. On the other days when Rosi kept his father, Dharma accompanied Rosi. The father awoke unexpectedly and saw Rosi kissed Dharma. In the morning. And while Rosi went to wash room, his father asked Dharma if she loves Rosi. Father suggested Dharma to accompany Rosi throughout Rosis life. Next day, his father was treated in the ICU. At that time his daughter could not accompany him at that day because it was Imlek new year. The family include his daughters have tradition of eating dim sum together in the morning. When they heard news from the hospital about their fathers condition. They were directly to the hospital and cremated his fathers body according to his request. One year later, Siska, Indah, Rosi and Novera gathered together during Imlek. Siska still continues her life to be an independent woman, Indah has a happy life together with his son. Rony still join her day with Dharma, and Novera is becoming closer with Raffi.

Introduction

The story begins with the story of the life of twin brother of four people who choose to live different from each other. Others have their respective characteristics are described in details. Continuing the storyline when his mother, Anas, was passed away when they reach adolescence. Since that they choose their own lives, the place of life, and a different city, far from each other mutually. Conflict Their father, Nung Atasana, hospitalized and only Indah in Jakarta. Indah tried to notify her sisters, but they are difficult to be reached and not come to the hospital. Even Siska, she doesnt care if Nung have a stroke. Knowing that the condition worsened Nung, one day the four of them gathered at the hospital. Nung fourth request twin daughters that he wants four of them to get married.

Issues unresolved to think about the Nung request, each of them that have not been struggling with personal problems they can solve. Klimaks Four of them decided to lie in front of the Nung, Nung, but it seems to know a lie that they made. Unbeknownst to them, Nung really know the real story. Psychological analysis Bandura's theory saying about the people,

In this story Clara Ng want to talk in her novel, Dim sum, with all characters who have their own problem. Siska will feel well, when she get together and close to the business environment wich can make she fell comfortable of being her truly self. The second child, Indah, a writer that has motive to devote herself to the world of jurnalism. She has Love affair with Pastor wich doesnt work well. Indah has as obsession to create a second novel. Indah form his own world with the world of struggling and working journalist who are more concerned about her own self. Indah make her own environment mystriously, she also cannotshare her problem to other family members but she take responsibility for everything she did (for example, when she decided to continue her pregnancy). Third child, Rosi, boyish girl who wanted to become a boy. Many years she passed to cover the multiple personalities within her. she really enjoyed the things of masculine, so she referred hang out with boys. When the age of puberty, she realized that she was more like girl than boy. Bandura's theory can explain Rosis soul this situation, prefer masculine environment which she

considers as the most secure to express the soul of men.

Then Bandura also said that the intrinsic reinforcement from self-assessment is more influential than the extrinsic reinforcement that comes from outside of ourselves. Perceived self efficacy

plays an important role in determining this final standard. It also strengthens the existence of a real self efficacy, whereby a person can believe that she has low capability when in fact they were quite high and just the opposite. the theory of independent behavior can be explained as Siska, who is the first child of four sisters who is the most full of ambition and a very selfish person. . Rosi, boyish girl who always want to liberate the Roni and exposed him. This figure doesnt has capacity of self-regulation of behavioral is inversely to Siska. Take a time for Rosi to be honest. Rosi always believed that she could live alone with lies and with the ability to survive on her own. However, she did not realize that she will not be able to continue lying and hide her true identity. She still needs someone else. For several times, she is more like choosing to omit the figure of Roni, but she could not do that and finally she prefer to escape clandestinely. Novera is also having the same problem with Rosi. She has a real low self efficacy. In fact, Vera could not save the problem itself, so she preferred to surrender about her future, Vera decided to become a religious

sister than marry someone. She's always trying to look tough, entrust theirselves to God and believes that only by surrendering her life for Gods sake she can enjoy life. Dim sum is also character traits can be identified with what Bandura called self contempt. BANDURA believes that all human behavior is determined by the situation and its interpretation at that time. This also can refer to the concept of morality. Bandura called the moral justification is a theory that can explain for Rosi personality. The justification is an act that is considered wrong morrality, but can be used with the aim of achieving compares. Rosi is doing things that are considered inappropriate for parents to daughters, but Rosi keep doing it so secretly, she felt a desire to keep the error of her masculine desires. Rosi also can not control her desire to build relationships with other women. Attribution error is a theory that can explain Siska and Indah. Attribution error is the theory that explain of motive why someone does an error and her usually blame someone else that cause they did that, the examples when she hit her friend while the flag ceremony to defend Vera, handles cases of sexual harassment and when her father was dying in hospital.
