The bank has established a good branch network within a short span of time. Personal selling plays a key role in banking service so staff of Faysal bank is well trained to provide most efficient and personalized service to each and every customer. Staff welfare has always been given a priority. New initiatives like, car buy facility and home loan insurance have added new dimensions to the staff-care policy and motivated them to out-perform competitors. The human resource philosophy at Faysal bank focuses on multi talent hiring, professional grooming, on the job as well as off site training and performance reward system. More over their performance appraisal system is very good. Faysal bank has a countrywide network of online branch banking business and ATMs in all major cities of the country. Bank has well-developed and inter-net and intranet communication network.. Faysal bank launched its e-banking product Faysal connect in 2005.This service is offered for the bank corporate customers and allows them to access banking services. The bank has appointed highly skilled people who has strengthen the progress of FBL WEAKNESSES Bank has no adequate number of branches as compared to its competitors like Alfalah and Askari etc.

FBL remittances charges are very much high as compared to other commercial banks. Promotional activities are very much low. Bank can capture large share of market by advertising its new and innovative products. Especially by promoting its newly innovative products by using internet as a medium. OPPORTUNITIES Faysal Bank can get the opportunities by increasing its branch network internationally and domestically. FBL can introduce special schemes of lending for potential small industries. FBL can increase its operations by proper promotional campaigns of its new innovative services. House financing schemes can be offered to general public. In Bahawalpur branch house financing is not in practice. Bank has no foreign branches especially so it should open its branches outside the country especially in U.K, U.S.A. In agrarians cities like Bahawalpur there is a potential for giving credit facilities to farmers. Bank is not yet performing utility services for the utility companies like WAPDA, PTCL it can increase its operations also in this direction and so a new source of earning. THREATS The bank is mainly engaged in interest based business but now reducing interest rate is great challenge for the bank.

Bank can lose market share due to insufficient promotional activities. As the profits rate are reducing so now general public invest in share of companies and in term finance certificates instead of deposit in the bank. Now the other players of banking are also providing the modern technology based services like online and Internet banking facility so there is no more competitive advantage in this area. Expansion of newly established banks like AL-FALAH, and their best performance can reduce the market share of FBL. In near future the world is going to be free trade zone so the concept of "survival of the fittest" will be in action. High rate of taxes on banking companies.
