Please note: Evolution has NOTHING to do with the origins of life, it simply explains the diversity of species on Earth.

Saying Ha! Evolution is invalid because it provides no explanation of how life came into existence! is a fallacious strawman argument because thats not what the Theory of Evolution was made to answer. Its like saying the Theory of Gravity is invalid because it doesnt explain why the color orange exists. Also note that a scientific theory and a theory are very different things. Evolution is one of, if not the most sound scientific facts that exists, because of the extensive reasons listed: -Paleontology (fossil record) -Genetics (comparative sequence analysis, phylogenetic reconstruction) -Comparative anatomy (common morphology, and living examples) -Geographical distribution (Continental distribution, Island biogeography, Endemism of species, Adaptive radiations) -Comparative physiology and biochemistry (Universal biochemical organisation and molecular variance patterns) -Observed natural selection (E.Coli in the lab, lactose intolerance in humans, Nylon eating bacteria, ect... ) -Observed speciation (examples: Blackclap, Drosophila Melanogaster, Fruit Fly, Polar Bear, ect...) -Artificial selection (dog breeding, ect...) Before we go on, here is the definition of a scientific fact: http://wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=scientific%20fact Here are some sources that are published in credible scientific journals and heavily peerreviewed and accepted within the scientific community (any rebuttals MUST meet the same criteria): Evolution is considered a SCIENTIFIC FACT (and a theory) with tons of evidence: http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/search/topicbrowse2.php?topic_id=46 http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/evolution-fact.html http://www.notjustatheory.com/ http://chem.tufts.edu/AnswersInScience/evolution-fact.html http://www.nas.edu/evolution/TheoryOrFact.html http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/ http://anthro.palomar.edu/evolve/evolve_3.htm http://bioweb.cs.earlham.edu/9-12/evolution/HTML/live.html http://humanorigins.si.edu/evidence http://cas.bellarmine.edu/tietjen/rootweb/evidence_for_evolution.htm

It has tons of evidence. You either accept it as a fact, or reject it. This is NOT up for debate. Until those garbage Creationist theories get submitted for peer-review and pass, shut up.
