Purpose of the Research


The purpose of this study is to analyze the preference and satisfaction of distribution channel members towards Nandi PVC Pipes through analysis of their dealers perception in Hyderabad, which is in Andhra Pradesh. Research is common mans language refers to a search for knowledge. One can also define research as a scientific and systematic search for pertinent information on a specific topic. In fact, research is an art of scientific investigation. Research is done to gain familiarity with a phenomena \ event\ product \ services or to determine the frequency with which something occurs or with which it is associated with something else; or to test a hypothesis of a casual relationship between variables. In short, marketing research is the objectives and formal process of systematically obtaining, analyzing and interpreting the data for actionable decision making in marketing.

Aim
The basic objective of this study is to improve the satisfaction of distribution channel members towards Nandi PVC Pipes in Hyderabad, which is in Andhra Pradesh.

Research was carried out in Hyderabad where dealers were main targets for this study. Dealers were asked about their perception of available Nandi PVC Pipes in market, some of the brands of Sujala Company are 1. Nandi PVC Pipes 2. Monarch PVC Pipes 3. ITL Pipes This study mainly deals about the Nandi PVC Pipes, data is collected from the distribution channel members and necessary steps are taken to analyze the collected data with required tabulation. At end of the study necessary suggestions are given to company to improve their standards of having better rapport with dealers.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY


The primary objective of this study is to know the satisfaction of distribution channel members towards Nandi PVC Pipes in Hyderabad through the analysis of dealers perception towards Nandi PVC Pipes. Dealers who sell the Nandi PVC Pipes are

questioned to know the promotional schemes provided by Sujala Company, also to identify the field, to which dealers are targeting to sell Nandi PVC Pipes. What profit margin does Sujala Company give to its dealers? Certain factors like (Price, Quality, Transport, Allowances, Sales Consistency, Payment Terms, and Advertising) are taken into consideration to know the requirement of PVC Pipes. To know their competitors in the market. Factors motivating the dealers to take up dealership in Hyderabad area.

HYPOTHESIS

STATISTICAL TECHNIQUES APPLIED


The collected data was analyzed in order to arrive at meaningful information. To analyses the collected data, various statistical tools, viz. ANOVA test. Cross tabulation was done to arrive at meaningful result. The editing of data was done prior to analyses. Results of data were supported with various graphs wherever necessary such as. Pie charts. Bar charts.

ANOVA TEST
ANOVA is used to test the difference among several means. It is also called F test. The basis assumption underlying in the ANOVA test is several sample means where obtained from normally distributed population. Here we are giving the null-hypothesis and alternate hypothesis and from the calculated value through ANOVA table, we reject or accept the null-hypothesis Ho. If the computed value is less than the table value we will accept the null-hypothesis Ho. If the computed value is greater than the value we will reject the null-hypothesis Ho.

Sampling procedure: Quota sampling method was used for dealers level survey.

Research design: The research design is descriptive in nature and for data collection survey method is used.

Descriptive research: This method is concerned with determining the frequency with which something happens of how variable vary together. It is used for questionnaires with specifications of who, what, when, where, why and how aspects of the research. Research Instruments: In order to extract the first hand information from the respondents, a structured questionnaire was constructed consisting of both open ended and close-ended questions and administered to the respondents.

RESEARCH DESIGNS
It is the plan, structure and strategy of investigation conceived so as to obtain answers to research question control variance the present study was conducted using descriptive research design primary data was collected through survey using a questionnaire and analyzed to get a clear in right for the problem of study the data were collected from customers using undisguised structured questionnaire. Secondary data such as company profile, product profile were collected from company annual report books of similar studies etc. The data collected through survey was edited and then coded for further analysis. Classification and tabulation of data was done to draw inference from the collected data. For analyses statistical tools like ANOVA tests were used. Graphs were drawn wherever necessary to supplement the analysis work.
