Provides relief to victims of disaster in Graham and surrounding areas and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. The Red Cross responds 7 days a week/24 hours a day to help in time of emergency. BETHEL CHILDREN'S DAYCARE Provides quality childcare with special rates for those families whose income falls below the guidelines set by the USDA childcare food program. This care is designed to meet the needs of both the child and the parents while emphasizing a safe and caring environment for the children to grow and learn. BOY SCOUTS LONGHORN COUNCIL Serves others by helping instill values in young people, and in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical decisions during their lifetime in achieving their full potential. Weekend activities and outdoor camping provided. CAMP SWEENEY SoWEST DIABETIC CAMP Sponsorship of Young County children from ages 5 to 18 with Diabetes Mellitus to help acquire the necessary diabetic management skills to prevent long and short-term complications. CRISIS CENTER BENEVOLENCE FUND Assist families in Graham and the surrounding area in obtaining necessity items (i.e. food, shelter, medical, utilities) in order to help them continue day-to-day living during a crisis situation.
GIRL SCOUTS OF TEXAS OKLAHOMA PLAINS, INC

GRAHAM AREA CRISIS CENTER Provides (free of charge) food, shelter, counseling and spiritual guidance. This service is provided to youth and adults as well as providing food and clothing. All ages are served with problems due to: drug and alcohol abuse; families in distress due to fire, flood, loss of job; battered women; the homeless; children lost or runaway; transients; families in emotional distress. The Center's objective is to try to get the individual out of the crisis situation and back to leading a normal life. GRAHAM GIRLS SOFTBALL Provides a fun, wholesome experience for the whole family while promoting good sportsmanship and fair play with positive reinforcements for girls ages 7-14. HUMANE SOCIETY OF YOUNG COUNTY To rescue and care for homeless injured and lost animals while educating the public by promoting birth control. Our ultimate goal is to eliminate the need for this type of shelter. LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL Promotes sportsmanship, integrity and good citizenship while teaching kids baseball from 4 to 14 years of age. MEALS-ON-WHEELS Provides hot meals to elderly shut-ins in the community. The majority of these meals are provided free of charge and those with the financial ability pay for their meals. The main objective of this program is to make sure these shutins receive a nutritious meal when one would not be otherwise possible.

SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER Serves as a community focal point for services to seniors age 60 and over. We provide a nutritious meal to both the home bound and to those who come to the center in a congregate setting. We provide transportation as needed for independent living. We make daily contact with the more frail elderly. Special objective is to help seniors remain active and aware of their community, while remaining productive citizens as long as possible.

THE ROCK Provides a safe, wholesome and fun place for high school age youth to hang out on Friday and Saturday nights in a tobacco-free, alcohol-free & drug-free Christian environment.

VIRGINIA'S HOUSE A FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER Meeting the needs of children and families through child abuse education, prevention, intervention and advocacy. Virginia's House is an umbrella organization for four programs; Children's Advocacy Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Mentor Program and Crime Victims Assistance. Our goal is to change the way our community responds to child abuse by providing needed services to children and non-offending family members during an extremely difficult time.

YOUNG COUNTY CHILD WELFARE Offers financial and emotional help to children from Young County who are living in foster care due to abuse and neglect.

An accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success. In partnership with committed adult's girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives like strong values, social conscience and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

YOUNG COUNTY 4-H CLUBS Teaches life skills and provides useful and practical information relating to agriculture, family and consumer sciences, and other basic skills through each of its many project areas. 4-H offers participants opportunities to develop leadership, perform community service and strengthen the family unit by encouraging youth and adults to work together.
