PROJECTS 1. “Development of TechTrack-SITL.org for Sonata Information Technologies Ltd(S.I.T.L),

UNDERTAKEN Bangalore”

The main aim of my project was to develop a portal for Sonata Information Technologies Ltd.,
Bangalore to track the day-to-day activities of its employees, and generate consolidated reports based
on these activities over a given period of time. The generated report maybe of an employee, a single
branch, or the entire technical team of SITL. The portal can be accessed by 3 types of users; the
Administrator who maintains the portal and the database, the Employee who logs in his/her daily
activities and views his/her activity reports, and the Manager who views the individual and/or the
consolidated reports. The project was built up using the ASP.NET technology, with C# codes-behind and
SQL Server 2000 as Back-End. The reports were designed using Business Objects Crystal Reports X
and the webpage layouts were designed using tools like Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and Adobe
Photoshop 7. It took around 4 months for me to complete the project in S.I.T.L, Bangalore.
2. “Development of the Bookshop Automation and Sales Management System for Azad Books,
Thodupuzha, Kerala”

The main aim of the project was to develop a software system for Azad Books, Thodupuzha, Kerala to
enable easier and efficient record keeping and register maintenance for the client, with search and
selection facilities for his customer. We have also incorporated the account management and billing
facilities into the system. The project was done on Linux platform, with QT Designer as Front-End and
MySQL as Back-End.
ACHIEVEMENTS • Was a part of the development team of the MA College MCA Department website.
• Have participated in various intercollegiate website designing competitions.
