Admission Information for M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharmacy Sponsored Seats

1. Notification for admission into M.E./ M.Tech. /M.Pharmacy sponsored category seats has been issued on 05-11-2011as per the details of the PGECET 2011 and the same is available the A.U. website : www.andhrauniversity.info/doa. 2. Applications in the prescribed Proforma are invited from eligible in service candidates for admission into the following courses for the academic year 2011-2012. a) M.E./M.Tech Programmes : I) Chemical Engineering : M.Tech. Chemical Engineering, Mineral Process Engineering, Industrial Pollution Control Engineering, Computer Aided Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology. II) Civil Engg : M.E. Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering & Mgmt., Hydraulics, Coastal & Harbor Engineering, Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering, Structural Engg & Natural Disaster Mgmt. III) Electrical Engg : M.E. Power Systems & Automation, Control Systems. IV) Mechanical Engg : M.E. Industrial Engg, Machine Design, Heat Transfer in Energy system. V) Geo-Engg : M.Tech. Geo Engineering, Remote Sensing Engg. VI) Marine Engineering : M.E. Marine Engineering & Mechanical Handling. VII) Electronics & Communications Engg : M.Tech. Radar & Microwave Engg, Electronic Instrumentation, Bio-Medical Engg. VIII) Instrumentation Technology : M.Tech. Industrial Process Instrumentation. IX) Metallurgical Engineering : M.E. Industrial Metallurgy. X) Computer Science & System Engg : M.Tech. Computer Science & Technology, CST with AI & Robotics, CST with Computer Networks, CST with Bio Informatics and Information Technology. XI) Nanotechnology : M.Tech. Nanotechnology. b) M. Pharmacy Programmes : Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance, Pharmacognacy and Phytochemistry, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. 3. Application form and admission information brochure with registration fee, eligibility criteria and fee structure for the above courses are given the A.U. website. Candidates are required to download the application form and information brochure from the website. Filled in application along with a DD for Rs. 1000/- towards registration fee for each course applied should reach the office of the Directorate of Admissions before 5 P.M on 17-11-2011. Separate application should be applied for each course. 4. Candidates should submit the sponsorship certificate in the prescribed form given with the application form. 5. Counselling for admission is scheduled on 23.11.2011 at 9.00 A.M. in the office of the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Vijayanagar Palace, Pedawaltair, Visakhapatnam. 6. For further details, candidates may visit the website. No intimation letters will be sent in this regard.
