Project Summary :
The EKVI project involves automation of Mandi Board Head Office, 7 Regional
Offices, 229 Mandies and their associated sub-market yards and Nakas, across the state of Madhya
Pradesh. This computerization project involves the Mandi auction process and Mandi fee collection
process mapped to the back-office requirements and communicating with the various 229 (two hundred
and twenty nine) Mandies, 130 (one hundred and thirty) sub-Mandies, 56 (fifty six) nakas, 7 (seven)
Regional Offices and a Head Office in the State using VSAT technology.

The Software in the project is envisaged in two parts, first part being the Front End,
Smart Card based data capturing and processing module and second being the Back End module data
processing, Report generation, Data Upload and MIS Report generation.

This project completely concerned to display the Rates of all commodities in Man-
dies. This project shows the rates of different commodities from other mandies in a particular Mandi. This
helps the Farmer & Trader to take decision for selling or not. They can see the rates of other mandies in
that particular mandi.
