In the present paper the researcher has used a Digital Technology (I-Pod) for the recording of the classroom lectures; as University has introduces the paper of Instructional System Design for B.Ed. course but it was a major problem for the researcher that most of the recourses were available in the English only and medium of instruction of students was Regional Language. So, the researcher has used English recourses for the lectures and as no study material in regional language was available for the students for self- study the researcher has recorded classroom lectures and provides to the students .results of this practice were amazing as although paper was new students scored good marks. All the practice in detail is presented in this paper.

Teacher education plays vital role in this process as prospective teachers should be ICT enabled because with the help of these teachers we are dreamt India Superpower 2020Teacher can brought desired change in the future generations.

The Context that Required the Initiation of the Practice In the year 2008 University of Pune has revised the syllabus of B.Ed. Course. University has taken many initiatives to introduce new topics and papers to face the challenges of 21st century. Information Communication Technology and Instruction System in this paper the section Instructional System is newly introduced by the university. This section is for forty marks with twenty marks practical.
During the academic year 2008-09 the teaching of this paper has started but references were mainly available in English Language and on the websites only. The teacher has taken information from the websites, journals, and books and translated in Marathi and used this material for classroom teaching. B.Ed. students are from various backgrounds students find difficult to understand new concepts in Instructional System Moreover reference material was also not available in Marathi. So, the teacher has recorded the lectures conducted in the classroom, and made available for the students in the computer lab. All the lectures are downloaded on the every computer in lab. Students referred these lectures again to clear the concepts, to take notes in their leisure time. Some students were having computers, CD player at their home; they have copied these lectures on CDs, pen drives for their references.

Objectives of the Practice 1. To provide reference material of Instructional system to the students.
2. 3. 4. 5. To help the students to prepare written nots of Instructional system. To enable the students to understand newly introduced concepts in Instructional system design. To help the students to use technology for active learning. To make optimum use the technology for teaching learning.

The Practice
Audio recording of classroom lectures for the subject Instructional System Design In the revised syllabus of B.Ed. the University of Pune has introduced the paper of Instructional system in this paper most of the concepts are new for the B.Ed. students, as the students are from various backgrounds major problem was that all the reference material was available in English on the websites. No Marathi books were available in the library; soothe teacher as teacher of Instructional system gathered all the references and used it for classroom teaching .It was requirement that there should be some material for the students reference the teacher has recorded the classroom lectures with the help of I-POD .During the lecture I-POD & its mike was kept in the pocket. Need, importance and used of Technology for instruction. Principles of selecting of technology for instruction. Developing self Instructional material. Developing computer Assisted instruction program, concepts and steps. Preparation of instructional design for online learning. Individual testing. Group Testing. Field testing. Master validation. CIPP model. Intrinsic evaluation.

For above mentioned topics reference material was not available in Marathi. Recorded lectures were made available to the students in computer lab, students referred these lectures to prepare written notes, to understand difficult concepts. Leisure time has been utilized by the students for this activity. Some of the students were having computers CD players at their homes / hostels they have copied the recorded lecturers on their pen drives / CDs. for reference. The college is proposed to keep these lectures on the Blog for the reference of other colleges& if required it will be provided through e-mail, or CD will made available.

Obstacles Faced if any and Strategies Adopted to Overcome them A few problems were faced during this practice:1. At the beginning of the lecture recording started, some of the times important notices from the office, were circulated during lectures all were recoded, but with the help of soft wares we are trying to cut that much part. During the black board writing. Some gap is recorded; when there is oral participation from students it is not clearly recorded. Initially recorded lecture by default makes amr file,(Digital Format of a Audio File) a few software are able to run this type of file and it is not possible to run amr type file on CD or DVD player so, the teacher has converted this amr file in to MP3 format with the help of switch setup, a useful software to convert amr files in to MP3. With the help of Switch set -up amr files are converted in to MP3 format but during this process size of file get increased e.g. 20 Mega Byte b to 40 Mega Byte, if size increases it is difficult for the students to get such files in to pen drives or CDs. Or send such files through e-mails. Thats why with the help of soft were MP3 Ring tone gold Size of MP3 files has been reduced. Finally all prepared lectures were made available to the students.
