STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM


Established in 1980, Kolkata sponge iron ltd concern is one of the oldest engineering concern in eastern India. Mainly manufacturer sponge iron. Over the past 4 years the sales decline and hence the turnover of Kolkata sponge iron Ltd. (KSIL), has been declining. Through these have been occurred due to many reasons which together have contributed to the decline performance of KSIL. Many of the new company entered in market, pricing policy, Mergers & acquisitions joint ventures are the key reasons, their turnover approximately 20 cores in 2009 has now dropped to just 14 cores in 2010.

WHY IS THE PARTICULAR TOPIC CHOSEN?


I have been an employee in last four years and working in their marketing division and I am one of the eye witness of this decline performance in marketing. I am highly and deeply concernrd with the well being of my organization and would there fore like a scientifically analyses the reasons and suggest remedial measures to the management.

WHAT CONTRIBUTION WOULD THE PROJECT MAKE AND TO WHOM?


The results of my survey and analysis would provide a very useful input to the management in KSIL, who are the already my effort and are looking to collecting all available data in this respect for examining the problem in totality. A large number of studies have indicated the following outcomes of efforts of low job satisfaction. 1) High term over of employees. 2) Tardiness 3) High absenteeism. Objective and scope The objective of my project is to evaluate the job satisfaction level of the employee so they are satisfied and increasing in marketing. Scope My study will be continued to
