Objectives of the study

As a partial fulfilment of the Masters of Business Administration term paper is a requirement at the end of the completion of the credit courses. The main purpose is to be familiar with the real world situation and to gather practical experience in a News paper sector in Bangladesh. The Independent is an English News Paper in the private sector, which focuses on the established and emerging markets of Bangladesh. The purpose of this study is to earn life practical experience of Digital News flow system. The study is mainly conducted with the following objectives: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Scope
The report will be dealing with an overview of Newspaper system. My internship program designed mainly to serve theoretical knowledge & practical field. The study should focus on the following areas: 1. Looking out the bridge between our academic study and the real life practices; 2. News data collecting; 3. Improving data collection; 4. Update changeable data automatically; 5. News data transferring; 6. Easily communicate all users;

Methodology The study is based on the primary as well as first information of The Independent. The following steps were followed to complete the study.
1.

Primary data collection a. Face to face interview with the stuffs of organization. b. Desk to desk data collection from all sources. c. Official records of this organization.

2. Secondary Sources a. User manual of Newspro b. Administrative manual of Newspro c. Data collection of AFP d. Data collection of UNB e. Data collection of BSS Major Findings There are some problems in this software. Now I describe some problems in below: 1. Without SQL server Newspro could not install. 2. If Newspro server is hanging then other server dont work. 3. Somehow Newspro server is hanging then it couldnt collect previous data. 4. There is no better option in the Newspro for the most editorial work spell and grammatical check. 5. Newspro is restricted software so its only known his own font. 6. Quark Express page sometimes lock then restart from backup file. Recommendation Following are the recommendations that I would like to recommend in bellow: 1. Feature Newspro should be installing other operating system. 2. If hanging the other server should be store Newspro data. 3. Feature Newspro should be better option spell and grammatical check. 4. Feature Newspro should be supported all font. 5. Feature Newspro should be easily searching data.
