SHORTER MINI Horizontal Gel Electrophoresis System is designed for very fast and
clear separation of DNA restriction fragments in agarose gels. This system allows the
user to fast cast, run and perform Southern or Northern blotting of high quality, 109 x 60
mm, 54 x 60 mm agarose gel. Constructed of sturdy PC, this economical, easy-to-use unit
features a casting gel system.
This system contains two sets of the gel casting system comprising two sizes of tray
(casting 6 pieces of agarose gel in one time), whose temperature capacity is 130℃. This
ensures it will not crack when you pour the high temperature agarose gel into the tray.

This midi gel dryer can dry 6 pieces of 10 x 10 cm gel at one time. The
drying area is 21 x 31 cm for laboratories to dry several gels at once. It
contains optimal sealing of silicon rubber with mask. Microprocessor
controller controls temperature and timer. The gels are heated from base
plate and the vacuum removes the moisture from below to dry the gel
homogeneously. When applying the vacuum a groove that frames the
drying surface provides an optimal tight seal during the drying.
