HADITH 18: On the authority of Abu Dhar Jundub bin Junadah, and Muadh bin Jabal that the messenger of Allah said: "Fear Allah wherever you may be, and follow up a bad deed with a good one and it will wipe it out, and behave well towards people." This hadeeth is an explanation of what the Messenger of Allaah, salla allaahu alayhi wa sallam, came with Combines the right of Allaah with the right of the slave Right of Allaah to be feared

Taqwa
Taqwa: a servant places a shield between himself and something that he fears, i.e. anger or punishment of Allaah. It is good deeds to Allaah and avoiding disobedience Mentioned in 3 ways in the Quraan o Fear Allaah directly o Fear the Fire o Fear Youm al-Qiyaamah Mentioned between 140-150x in the Quraan showing importance of this naseehah It is not just siyaam during the day and qiyam in the night and a few righteous deeds in between o It is to completely abandon the haraam and fulfill obligations Allaah is to be obeyed and NOT disobeyed He is to be remembered and NOT forgotten He is to be shown gratitude and NOT ingratitude The meaning of wherever you may be is to obey Allaah both secretly and openly

Always remember that Allaah is Ever-Watchful

Allaah Has Associated Many Things with Taqwa

Good in the dunya and the aakhira Paradise is for those with taqwa The acquisition of knowledge requires taqwa The one with taqwa and patience the reward will never be wasted Whoever has taqwa, Allaah will make an easy way out of hardship and give them Zukhruf from where they cannot imagine Associated taqwa with easy, meaning easy actions and an easy affair.

Follow Up Evil with Good

This is to take care of deficiencies in taqwa o

o 11:114 And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salat (prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice). AL-HASANAT: everything which a person does to draw nearer to Allaah Sincere tawbah When a mumin falls into sin o

o 3:135 And those who, when they have committed Fahishah (illegal sexual intercourse etc.) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins; - and none can forgive sins but Allah - And do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know.

TAWBAH SHOULD NEVER BE DELAYED! Repentance has limits: death, sun rising from the west
