PeopleSoft HRMS Project Overview


1. Project Overview The Human Resources System implementation will support the HR offices at our 23 colleges and System Office. The HRMS development and implementation includes the integration with the VCCS Student Information System using a shared database infrastructure. The end result of this project is the development and implementation of the Human Resource modules within the Oracle/PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System/Campus Solutions (HRMS/CS) application. Project Goals The goals of the HRMS project are to: 1. Create a unified personnel database to manage HR functions, such as position management, 2. Improve the efficiency of HR transactions and the interfaces with multiple state systems, 3. Implement policy improvements, best business practices and improved compliance reviews, and 4. 3. HRMS Project Objectives (Aligned to Project Goals) 1.
