Hydraulic Testing and Research Laboratory Soil Testing Services (Page 1 of 5)

(Effective January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007) Interpretations of the test results, interim reports of laboratory work, and research & development of special equipment or test procedures will be charged at our regular schedule of professional services fees which is available upon request. Data on diskettes and/or electronic copies (pdf files) may be available upon request. These will be charged at the sample preparation hourly rate. Turnaround times for testing vary upon the testing requested, preparation requirements, sample textures and volume of other testing being run at the time. For example, a hydraulics properties package suite of tests requires 6 to 10 weeks to complete. DBS&A will dispose of all samples 30 days after completion of testing unless prior arrangements have been made. Radioactive samples will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Clients are required to document the chemical characteristics of samples containing any potentially hazardous or radioactive substances. If you do not see the testing you would like, please call. Our testing services are updated regularly. Please call 505-889-7752 to obtain pricing.

Note: The SWCC is also commonly referred to as: Moisture Retention Characteristic Curve (MRCC), Moisture Characteristic Curve (MCC), Moisture Retention Curve (MRC), Soil Wetting Curve (SWC), Soil Drying Curve (SDC), and Pressure Potential vs. Volumetric Moisture Content. The HPP provides input parameters for most flow models (Hydrus, Unsat-H).
