(no class April 9) - no audition necessary The Kettle Moraine Childrens Choir was founded in 2001, now celebrating its 10th Anniversary year, currently under the direction of Celia Meisel. Mrs. Meisel teaches vocal technique using warmups, rounds, and singing games while instilling self confidence and artistic growth in each student. KMCCs purpose is to enrich the lives of children and their families by creating a community of young vocalists. Students rehearse and perform as one ensemble, but are divided into two groups based on grade level. Concert Singers, grades 4-8, serve as the leaders of the choir, rehearse 20 minutes longer, and sing a featured song on the concert program. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed the first day of rehearsal, and available at SchauerCenter.org/CSA.
