Course Objectives: This course covers the essential principles and the roles of money, banking, financial system, and interest rate in the economy and monetary policies of central bank. Topics include: financial instruments and their purposes; asset pricing, the determination and behavior of interest rates and exchange rates; the management, structure and regulation of the banking system.
