Project name:- VMDASH Client: - VMware, US Duration Oct10 - Till Date Software: OBIEE 10.3.1.4, Informatica Work Location: Hyderabad Project Description: The goal of the VMDash project is to provide a consolidated dashboard for the Partner Channel and Inside Sales teams for a single source of truth and to align BI Sales to meet business users need. The intent is to combine PRI and Sales-BI into a well organized, more user-friendly interface thus improving user experience and adoption. The SMPD dashboard will show the actual, forecast and target for the current half of the year. Besides business will have the ability to do actual trending for the last eight quarters and do Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ) comparison for the last two quarters. The dashboard will provide the ability to upload the Targets. Architecture team follow-up. Forecast and bookings numbers will come through Sales Force.
The objectives of the VMDash project are the following:

Align BI Sales to meet business needs Role based approach Improve the user experience and drive adoption up. Consolidated dashboards for Single source of truth. Improved Maintenance and Performance. Provide better Integration to VM Star.
Role Description:

Working as Report Developer for the different Subject Areas. The following were the responsibilities: Analyzing the GAP Documents and mapped to the Database Tables. According to the Report Layouts, proper mapping have to be find out from the ODS to create the Mapping Document, by coordinating with the various teams in the project like Core Insurance, Oracle Financials, Clients, UAT Testing Team and End users. Built the STAR Schemas based on the functionality. Creating the Repository (Three layers, Variables, etc) as per the requirement. Creating the reports, dashboards using Presentation services. Created reports are tested in each stages by comparing the report outputs with the ODS (Database) values and by testing the various joins by analyzing the backend queries of reports. Reports will be moved from Local System to Development Environment for testing and once successfully tested it been moved to UAT Environment for Client Testing. Giving Training & Demo on reports to the End users. Change Request (CR) and Enhancement works are carried out to the current reports time to time. Creating the IBOTS (delivers) using BI Scheduler. Analyzing the Reports mismatch activity on daily basis.

Project name:- PRI Analytics :- VMware, US Duration July09 - June10 Software: OBIEE 10.3.1, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Work Location: Hyderabad Project Description: The Sales, PSO, HR, PRI Dashboard is part of the Data warehouse being developed as part of the VMware BI Strategy project. PSO, and HR where added as part of the Hydrogen release. The main purpose of this phase is to enable integrated reporting of data on a Dashboard which will be used by the Sales Ops, PSO, and HR for their internal reporting. The data sources for this are from Bookings DB, Siebel and some information in excel sheets. This dashboard is used for reporting of integrated data from different data sources like Bookings DB, Siebel, POV list, Quota, Opreg and Partner data. Project name:- Centralized Web-Based Insurance Software Solution (CWISS) Client: - New India Assurance Limited, India Duration: Oct07 - June2009 Software: OBIEE 10.3.1, Oracle Warehouse builder (OWB), Oracle Application Server (OAS). Work Location: Mumbai Project Description: The CWISS (Centralized Web-Based Insurance Software Solution) is a part of a larger transformational exercise which would help NIA addresses the emerging market imperatives successfully. By executing this project, NIA is looking to provide differentiated services, customized insurance products and quick settlement of claims to its customers at the same time making buying insurance services hassle-free. The solution will provide NIA the flexibility to design and roll-out products with a reduced time-to-market while holding on to its leadership position. All the reporting requirements of NIA will be addressed by using OBI EE platform. The Oracle Business Intelligence Suite EE is a comprehensive and integrated suite of Analytics Tools designed to bring greater business visibility and insight to the broadest audiences of users. The client aims to use OBI EE to consolidate all its reporting systems into one common platform. An ODS (Operational Data Store) would be created which would be the source of the data (from disparate system) for all the operational reports built using OBI EE. The initial focus would be on rollout of Motor Insurance reports followed by reports on other areas. Role Description: Working as Report Developer for the different LOBs.
