Visual Flow Control Setter

Non-Electric Visual Flow Indicator and Flow Setter
The Visual Flow Control (VFC) is designed to balance heating circuits in both light commercial and residential applications.
Flow Meter (gpm)

Specifications
The Watts VFC is a non-electric visual flow indicator and flow setter. Commercial quality brass casting is machined for precision fit and function. The visual flow indicator features a rotatable scale for added flexibility in mounting. Each VFC allows zone-by-zone control and flow optimization. Available with 1" (25.4 mm) MPT half unions or 1" (25.4 mm) FPT connections. Technical Data Maximum Operating Temperature Minimum Operating Temperature Maximum Admitted Operating Pressure Accuracy 194 F (90.0C) -4 F (-20.0 C) 164 psi (11.3 bar) +/- 10%

Installation Parameters
Install in accordance with the requirements of all applicable building codes, and regulations. - The VFC will work in any position. Flow direction is indicated by the arrow on the brass housing. A straight piece of tube (the same length as the valve body) is recommended on the upstream side to provide accurate flow monitoring. - The flow meter indicates the flow rate in gallons per minute (GPM) and can be fully rotated, facilitating easy and exact reading. -P art of the VFCs unique design places the meter outside the actual fluid flow, preventing damage by system debris and dirt. - The regulating valve can be set to the desired flow by using an Allen key tool. The actual flow rate can be seen on the visual flow indicator. Several turns are required to fully open the valve. The flow meter provides accurate flow measuring for both water and water/glycol solutions when fluid conditions are above 68F (20.0C).
