Celebrating 12 years of Prison Ministry

It is hard to believe that we are celebrating 12 years of prison ministry on November 29, 2011. Tom went to visit Jeremiah the very first time that day and JPM was birthed. Jeremiah spread the word and his cellie wanted Tom as an advisor and then another friend and so forth. We were able to minister in the chaples and in the year 2001 & 2002 we went four times ministering at Camp Hill Prison Chapel in Camp Hill, PA. In
2003 SCI Camp Hill changed its policy for spiritual advisors to be able to minister in the chapel. We could only do one but not both and we feel its important that inmates have one on one as some of them have no visitors. Now inmates have to take us off their visiting list for us to go in to the Chapel and then put us back on. March 2004 & January 2005 we able to minister at Mahanoy Prison Chapel. October 2005 we saw one of our goals come to fruition, I resigned my job and I went full-time ministry with Tom. Today we continue visiting the inmates one on one and corresponding with many inmates! We have so much to be thankful for because of you we continue to go!

Excitement is in the air!

We are currlently 75 miles oneway from our home church, Martinsburg Christian Center. We have been trying to sell our home on and off for 3 years. We put it back on the market March 2010. March 2011 we got an offer with a constingency to sell their home. We began our search in the Greencastle area & decided we would buy a new doublewide. In September our buyers got a contract & settlement was scheduled for October 31st but the deal fell through! November 7th we went to our dealer to keep in touch & were informed there was 4% price increase. We made a major decision that day we werent going to buy a new doublewide & headed out looking again. We found a nice community, found several homes & narrowed it down to two. We put a contract on one November 14th, on the 15th the seller accepted our offer. On the same day our buyers got a contract with settlement on December 28th. Then our roller coast ride began, November 22nd our buyers buyers backed out of the sale but we began to pray for peace for the young couple. November 23rd we got a call and our buyers buyers decided they wanted to buy the house. So we pray for peace for all & next month we should have a new address for everyone by the grace of God!

First I must praise God for the wisdom to write this and also for giving The Cohees 12 wonderful years in prison ministry, JPM is alive and thriving by the Grace of God because of generous supporters wanting the work of God to be taken into the prisons. Now I would like to share with you what God has given me. Have you really stopped and asked yourself is America still as beautiful as she once was and why is everything starting to fall apart. I do not claim to have all the answers but I take a notice to one and the most powerful reasons why it is all coming apart. As a nation that was founded on the principles of God we came here to escape religious punishment. We wanted the right to allow God into our daily life in everything, we did though the course of the day from the start to the end sun up to sun down from every aspect of life God was included in it. God was in our schools, our legal system, our financial system but as a society we have allowed the same thing we fought for be dismantled and stripped away from our daily lives. We can no longer go to school and pray to begin our day, no wonder little Johnny and Sussie are so stupid, its because they can no longer ask God every morning before the start of class to bless them in their learning. Every where you look society has taken away God. God has been taken out of our courthouses. Now if you say one word about God during a trial the whole thing is thrown out. What a mess we have gotten ourselves into. Now here is one I just do not understand, in my Bible I have read where God has destroyed a whole city for its filthy way of living. I know I am going to upset some people with what I about to say but if you take the time to truly understand why God is not blessing America then you need to start asking why as a society do we all men to marry men and women to marry women. Why have we allowed the belief that gays are born gay? My Bible says God mad Adam & Eve, did you read that? Thats right at the beginning of the Bible. Let me say this and maybe you can understand society is slowly being brainwashed to believe that its ok to be gay, that its ok to have a gay pastor, that its ok to let two gay men or gay women to marry, that its ok to let gays raise children that God did not bless them with. We allow society to say its ok to destroy life that God has given, abortion is nothing but an assault on creation. God is the creator of all life, He gives life and then takes it when its time, its not mans choice. My Bible tells me God wants man and woman to multiply, He wants us to continue life not end it. Society has forgotten God! God only blesses those that bless Him. I truly believe God is not looking down on America and saying as far as I can see from shore to shore from every mountain range to wide open parries all the cities and towns of America I truly like what I see. What do you think He must be saying to himself? I think He is saying why have you turned your back on me? When will you say enough is enough I want America and God back! Join me right now and.

down on your knees if you can and tell God you had enough and you want God in charge again. Pray with me that He will bless children in school. Pray He will bless our financial system. Pray that He will put men and women back to work. Pray that He will bless our leaders to lead us the right direction which is with God. Let the men and women who run our court system rule with the hand of God. Let punishment be about punishment and not revenge. Lets pray that God will allow us to forgive. Lets pray that God will allow us to be helpful to those who need help. Let pray that God will allow us to once gain know what is right in the God eyes and what is wrong in His eyes. Let us pray that every day we wake up we bless God and give Him all the praise and glory for another day in America, a day to serve him wherever you are. Pray for the blessing of life and before your got to bed and close your eyes pray for the people who cant pray. Pray for the people who dont know God. Pray that when you wake up the next morning that America may look jus a little better that today. And lets pray that when ever we say God Bless America we really mean it. I pray that you have peace and gods love with you forever. I hope to see a beautiful America once again.

I AM BLESSED! Luke 1:27-31 The Bible says, Blessed is the man whose hope is in the Lord. Your hope cannot be in people, but must be in the Lord, Himself. The Bible says that the righteous shall live by faith. Almost everything that happens in the Kingdom of God is a process. God is teaching us to walk by faith and not by the things we see. When you have the blessing of the Lord, theres strength in your life that wont allow you to quit. You can take a licking and keep on ticking. Anytime you have the blessings of the Lord on you, there are going to be persecutions and afflictions. You cant be concerned with the things people say about you. You cant be concerned with who walks into your life and who walks out. Sometimes you have to let go of everything in your past, so God can take you to that new place He has for you. God came to the young girl Mary and said, You are blessed beyond all of the women. She was blessed because God said she was blessed. Anytime God puts a dream in your heart, someone will come along to try and steal it. If God impregnates you with a vision, nobody can stop it from coming to pass except you. Quit worrying about what people think of you and know that you are blessed. Since you know that the enemy is going to try and steal the vision that God has put in your heart. You must keep your mind stayed on the Lord. You must have the Word of God in your heart and never lose sight of the fact that you are blessed when God says youre blessed, then you dont have to be afraid anymore. After you give birth to a God dream, somebody will come along and try to kill it. Somebody will say that God cant use somebody like you. continued on page 4

No, you are the esteemed and highly favored of God. All the trouble in your life says that God is getting your ready to go to a higher level. Youre not blessed because of the things you have. Youre blessed because your mind is stayed on the Lord and you still have hope. Youre blessed because you have a wonderful family who loves you. Youre blessed because you have a church family that encourages you. Youre blessed because you love the Lord and Hes working all things for your good. Youre blessed because youve read the end of the Book and we win. Are you Blessed? I am blessed! Thanking our Lord & Savior for his mercy & goodness shall follow us all the days of our life.

Pray for my daughter, Vickie, her thyroid condition has improved. Pray for our son in law Dale very urgent and very important God knows the need! Pray for Terri & Tayler, Cara they are doing much better with grief but still miss Alan. Pray for my brother Normans health. Pray for the Salvation of every man, woman, boy and girl not saved in this world. Our prayers are heard! Please pray for all the inmates, their families, our nation, our leaders, our military and their families. Pray for reform in the prison system, for lives to be changed & a spiritual renewal across this land with men, women, boys & girls being touched. Pray for Bill our dear friend who goes with us to some of the prisons and his wife Rose for restored health. Pray for Dotty another dear friend in prison ministry, for restored health. Pray for us for strength and wisdom in all that we do, for Tom & Monica to stay cancer free & healthy to do Gods work. And for the sale of our home to come to pass!
